BG: I was in a car accident in 2011 and as a pet groomer, I had a hard time with my neck and back while doing my very physical job. So I started seeing Dr. Adam... He took x-rays, had a nice long consultation that discussed a plan of action on how to adjust my spine over X amount of time. Not long after I started my adjustments, I found out I was pregnant. He helped me feel like a human being again after long days of back pain due to the pregnancy. He was always accommodating with my schedule and was able to get me on the schedule when I had time or needed to come in. FF to now: Once Dr. Adam left the Royal Oak clinic for full time at Align (he purchased Goss Chiropractic and changed the name) I followed him because not only do I feel extremely comfortable in his care, but I also trust him with my baby. As a somewhat recent new father himself, I knew that he adjusted his daughter and because of that I brought my son to him shortly after birth. Now, I live in west bloomfield, and I don't work as often anymore... So the drive to Rochester takes me about 45 minutes without traffic. I make time to see him, and he is still as accommodating as he was before, even though he now owns the practice. His staff is always so friendly, the office is super clean, and I feel very comfortable in my "new" office. I highly recommend Dr. Adam as a chiropractor!!!

I had made an appointment for the massage... and I scooted over there after work one evening. Now, downtown Utica is a very unique area. The chiropractic center looks to be an old converted house that has been turned into an office area. Not too bad, however, I felt like I was walking up the driveway just to come into the office. Which, in fact... it turned out I was. I wasn't really greeted by the desk staff.... I was more of greeted by my massage therapist. Tina was her name... and she seemed to be relatively speeding me along.. (because I was late I'm sure) I was led around the office to show me it, and then I was taken downstairs where the massage therapy room was. It was a massage therapy bed, in front of a natural gas fireplace. She instructed me to go down to wherever I was comfortable with... and to leave all my items in a basket. And then? I was treated to one of the better massages I have had in quite some time. Tina was hitting all the little knots that were hiding in my back... and I will tell you, I was quite impressed with her ability to hit everything I needed to get hit. I will have to say that at least for the massage part of it all... it was fantastic. I definately will be seeing her again soon now that all the spring sports are starting up. :)

Through his unique blend of massage and stretching, he was able to help loosen muscles that have been perpetually tight from years of improper posture and movement. Being that I have moderate scoliosis that's just shy of severe I'm working hard to avoid a full reconstruction spinal surgery of two full rods in my back. Erica has become my main therapist for the muscle and tension work to release the muscles and knots and alleviate the pains that come from the curves in my spine but also just stress and life. I continue to go there for maintenance spinal decompression treatment with Dr. Kroener, and I am also undergoing acoustic compression therapy on my left foot. Were it not for Dr. Kroener and his remarkable ability as a healer, I probably would not be able to walk more than a few feet and would be in almost constant pain. Treatment at Macomb Chiropractic is very reasonably priced, and everyone at this office is transparent, kind, and professional. If you are having pain or similar issues, I doubt you'll find a better option for treatment anywhere.

The 3 I've seen so far all have Doctorates in PT, and one has gone on to get specialized training in massage and rolfing. They will spend the first visit assessing the problem area and then will work with you to come up with a program to improve the problem, address the pain and strengthen the area. They've moved to a new space which is quite nice. It's a large open space with all the needed equipment to work with you. Mario the owner has done a great job with making it look welcoming while also being functional. The front desk staff is efficient and will help you get scheduled, make sure your insurance is covering you and will send you your bills / receipts to your phone or email. All and all an efficient operation. I made the mistake of trying a different place recently and it did not go well - the scheduling, insurance approval, communication was all done poorly - so this is something not to be taken lightly!
