I've been seeing Dr. Sinawi for about the last year and have alternated from multiple times a week visits to a few a month. I originally made my first appointment to help with mid back pain that wouldn't quit. I requested an appointment through their site and was promptly contacted directly to set up an appointment. A few things stand out to me about Dr. Sinawi that may be able to sum up my experience: flexible, friendly, persistent and creative. Flexible: I work in Detroit but live in RO and I can't tell you how many times i've called and said I'd be late due to traffic. Every time, I get an immediate and friendly reply from Meghan the receptionist (who is super friendly and personable herself) letting me know if they can make it work. 9.9/10 they are able to fit me in. They advise I may have to wait a little but I swear i've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. I appreciate that flexibility with all that competes for my time. Dr. Sinawi seems to understand that life happens and his priority is getting you the care you need. Added bonus, they recently added online scheduling that you can do from your phone or computer! Could it get any easier than that!? Friendly: No one wants to go to a Chiropractor that's a total butt or stuck up about the practice... at least I don't. Dr. Sinawi is a fun guy who is relatable and makes it easy to communicate with. I truly enjoy my visits from a human level. Good people give good experiences. This is also important to me because it creates an environment where I feel comfortable telling from if something did or didn't work. He is open to feedback and does not take it personal. If you do see him, be honest with him about what is working and not. That friendly demeanor isn't just a front, he will actually listen. Persistent and Creative: I'm going to lump these two together since I think they are two skills that complement Dr. Sinawi in his approach. When my first few sessions didn't get the results we were looking for right away he tried all kinds of different techniques until we found what worked for me. He keeps great notes to reference back to and always remember what did and did not work. At one point earlier this year I had my TMJ flare up and kick me in the face so bad I was going crossed eyed from the pain. Dr. Sinawi helped me with adjustments to my jaw and over time, we found relief from the adjustments that I just wasn't getting from the Dentist. I'd also like to add that Dr. Sinawi is open and even encourages complementary treatments. For example, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy, when it will be effective. Through his recommendation I started seeing a message therapist and the combination is really working for me. I see this as another example of how he has his patients best interest in mind. Bonus: He is also open late on Tuesday and Thursday which super helps us folks who are working the ol' 9-5. read more

I've recently been diagnosed with a minor spine issue, and my doctor told me he wanted me to see a chiropractor. Well, right on my corner is Complete Spine & Joint with Dr. David Sinawi. I saw that he is highly regarded, so I made my appointment. From the word go, he set me at ease, explained about my condition, and said he wanted to try some "adjustments" I've never been to a chiropractor before, so I was a little nervous. The front desk coordinator is very kind and makes you feel very welcomed immediately. The building is very clean and they practice COVID protocols. Dr. Sinawi is very knowledgeable. My boyfriend was having extreme back pain (almost unbearable) so we decided that he needed to see a chiropractor to help alleviate some of the pain from his back. We called to make a last minute appointment (literally called 45 minutes before we got to the office) and they were able to squeeze us in because of the severity of the pain. The one thing that we really like about him was how he explained everything that was happening before we were able to explain the pain to him. I've been to a couple chiropractors where they don't do anything on your first session but he didn't mind getting right into it. He showed us where the dis alignment was and how to fix it (outside of his work). Long story short, he adjusted (cracked) his back and he instantly felt a little better. I have been going to Dr. Sinawi for years now and recommend him to anyone and everyone. I drive 20 minutes to see him because it's worth it. He cares about his patience and takes the time to get to know you, your body, and your concerns. This place is crazy , I don't like things that make me wait or don't work but the service you get here is amazing. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Sinawi. He made me feel welcome the minute I stepped into his office. I recently moved to Royal Oak and started a desk job (which I was NOT used to at all) and needed to find a chiropractor to help me deal with the new neck/shoulder pain that comes with a sedentary job. It's been over 6 months now and I couldn't be happier with his practice. He is knowledgeable, personable, and hilarious. We end up talking the entire time and catch up like old friends. Aside from helping me with my spine and upper back, he has relieved my TMJ and assisted me in a quick recovery from a foot injury (the podiatrist couldn't even relieve the pain!) I moved to Detroit from NY a couple of years ago where I lived in the apartment above my father's chiropractic office. It took me two years to find a doctor here I trust with my back as much as I trust Dr. David (funnily enough, they share the same name!). Dr. Sinawi is great! I've been going there for alignments for several years (He's also experienced with pregnancy alignments). He and his staff are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They're extremely flexible with scheduling and I've never had an issue getting an appointment to fit my schedule (even if it's very last minute). I wish i can give this Chiropractor a zero star. Went in with a severe back pain. Was charged 90$ for the first visit other than the insurance. After waiting 15 mins we were asked to sit in a room. The chiropractor came in and made a general conversation and finally worked on the pain point for less than 5 Minutes. He asked me to schedule another 7 - 8 sessions. The next day session was worse. He didn't even spend 2 mins. The focus was on session scheduling and re-visits. I expected some sort of pain relief massage or stretching. Worst experience. Save your money and visit a PT. BTW the reviews are completey shady and seems non-legit. read more

This place is great. The doctor and the receptionist are very amicable. I do not have insurance so they are super affordable, thank The Lord. I have lower back pain and the adjustments definitely is help. But I just don't know why I like to visit the chiropractor whenever my body tells me to go. (Yes, I have learned to be in tuned with my body because it definitely speaks!) The doctor did have a plan in place to have me come in a couple times a week and I was motivated to at first, then I decided to do some stretches because I have done yoga before and stretching does wonders. I am extremely picky when it comes to my doctors. I only see the top rated doctors in Michigan and I work for an insurance company so I am able to see everything about a doctor. Doctor Sinawi is an incredibly responsible, friendly and knowledgeable doctor with a clean practice. His staff is helpful and cheerful and works hard to make sure that they can accept your insurance, but prior to having insurance it was still a very reasonable price to visit him! Had my first appointment yesterday and it was great! The receptionist and Dr. Sinawi are both super friendly. The appointment was right on time and there was no sales pitch like I have often experienced with other chiropractors who tell you you need to be going 3x a week for results (who has the time?). He asked me what I was looking for out of my experience and I told him what I could do with my insurance and he said we could make that work. Friendly, very easy to schedule an appointment even last minute. Nice new office that's easily accessible. As compared to other chiros I've been to in the past, I like that there's no pressure for super-frequent appointments (of course if he wants you to come back he says so, but no making you feel bad if you can't come that often). I also like the general lack of woo woo here, no touting that chiropractic is the be-all end-all for every ailment or pushing supplements or homeopathics. I've been going here for a few months now and it's absolutely amazing!!! When I visited initially I explained that it was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor and David made sure to take the time out first to explain to me his process and how beneficial it was. I started seeing him once a week to start and then very soon after that I was able to just see him maybe once every few weeks. Seeing immediate results was amazing. Also even though my insurance doesn't cover seeing a chiropractor, his rates are so affordable that I can still see him multiple times throughout the month with no problem. You can set appointments with him or he may even accept walk-ins during business hours which worked perfectly for me since I work during the day. I haven't had to wait long for him to see me either and I'm always in and out in a few minutes time which is very convenient if you have other things planned for the day. My journey with back pain was a long one before I arrived at Dr. Sinawi's office. I slipped and fell when I was pregnant and managed to end up with severe disc narrowing of my L5-S1. What is interesting about my journey is that I went to two back doctors, one at Beaumont, Royal Oak and one prestigious one in Bingham Farms. Both gave me the incorrect diagnosis; sacriolitis. I spent a fortune and a lot of time on physical therapy (for the wrong diagnosis), babysitting to get to these appointments and even I went to a very popular chiropractic center in Birmingham and nothing was helping. I had cortisone injections, tried a variety of medication and wore an SI belt (only thing that stabilized me to sleep at night). After feeling like I was walking on a broken pelvis with pain shooting into my hip, lower back and limited mobility trying to care for my 3 1/2 year old and baby, I demanded an MRI. The MRI showed that I had disc compression. Thankfully, a very successful spine surgeon is in our family and he said not to have surgery on this to find a very, very good chiropractor and I did a ton of research and I did; Dr. Sinawi. He was the first professional to read my MRI results and tell me exactly with clarity what my issue was. The first time he adjusted me after two days of soreness (normal from the adjustment) I nearly cried tears of joy-for once! I could walk again, pain free. I could bend over and pick my baby out of his crib, pain free. I cannot say enough great things about this practice. I was given my life back. When you suffer with chronic pain and can't even swim or walk for over a year, when you dread unloading the dishwasher because you know you will need to bend, I can honestly say, he has been the greatest gift since I have moved here to metro-Detroit. I know he has enough stellar reviews, but I just hope that in sharing my story I can give others who have been on a journey like mine hope that they too have a chance at life again with this amazing chiropractor!
