We were planning everything ourselves so his tips to make certain things run smoothly were extremely helpful! My favorite part was that I had requested him not to take song requests unless it came from my MOH, and no matter how much my family bugged him he stuck to that request! Which I greatly appreciated. He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn't be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! This mistake from the DJ permanently impacted a once-in-a-lifetime moment that cannot be redone. We are extremely disappointed with the service and cannot recommend Higher Ground Entertainment.
