I'm a little late to leave my review but life has been extremely crazy. My husband and I had our wedding in August and had Gianni as our dj. I felt like the admin team did an amazing job at matching us with a dj that would fit our wedding day so well. Gianni was great, helped go over our playlist and schedule prior to the wedding to make sure we had everything the way we needed and for it to run smoothly. We were planning everything ourselves so his tips to make certain things run smoothly were extremely helpful! My favorite part was that I had requested him not to take song requests unless it came from my MOH, and no matter how much my family bugged him he stuck to that request! Which I greatly appreciated. DJ Steven and Stumptown were excellent! DJ Steven, while being a Tier 2 DJ, was more like a Tier 10! We really wanted a fun and populated dancefloor at our wedding and DJ Steven delivered! He was great at reading the crowd and playing songs that got everyone on their feet. He also surprised us by bringing a bubble gun, lights, and a 360 cam. What was most spectacular was that DJ Steven also created a special mix for our first dance so that we could do a fun choreographed dance to it. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we couldn't be more thankful to Steven for making it happen. He helped us select songs for all phases of the wedding and was able to really set the mood throughout the entire event. We received numerous compliments from guests about how the wedding was so upbeat and had an awesome party atmosphere; DJ Steven was a large part of that! Matt saved my wedding. For context, I've always wanted to have an epic wedding dance party. But with COVID-19, we decided to move the dance party outside which was in conflict with the local noise ordinance (no noise past 10pm). I scrambled to find a last minute solution and reached out to Stumptown DJs to rent silent disco equipment. Matt responded almost immediately and hooked us up with everything we needed, all within TWO days of the event. Jai was assigned to our big day (02/22/20) after we talked about out rather eclectic music styles that we wanted to showcase at the wedding. Not only did he play all the music I requested, none of the music I didn't want, he set everything up just days before the big event and made it so easy for me because I was super overwhelmed with planning. The communication was strong throughout the process and they were very flexible when I added additional time to my contract (twice!). We worked with Jai, who did a fantastic job and was great to work with. His sample playlists for all the big moments/dances made it easy (and fun!) for us to select our songs (for walking down the aisle, first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.). Jai offered to be as involved or as hands off as we wanted. Based on our preference, we simply gave him a short list of songs we would like played and a few others that he could play if they fit in.
