I was looking to replace all the carpet flooring in my newly built home with LVP and found Mario…read morehere on Yelp right away. I decided to give him a try--and I'm glad I did. Mario's knowledge and understanding of flooring is top-notch. My home already had 6mm LVP on most of the first floor, but when we removed the carpet in one of the first-floor bedrooms, I did a calcium chloride test and found the concrete moisture level was much higher than I was comfortable with. After doing some research and discussing options with Mario, we decided to apply Bostik coat to seal the moisture. That made a huge difference. We also added a proper moisture barrier on top, which gave me peace of mind. Given the moisture level in the concrete, I ended up removing the original 6mm flooring too. That turned out to be the right call--when we pulled it up, we discovered the old moisture barrier sheets weren't taped properly, just laid side by side. So we redid the whole floor with Bostik + taped moisture barrier + 8mm LVP. Mario managed to reuse most of the baseboards--only one room needed new ones. While the project ended up a bit more expensive than originally planned, the results look great and I feel confident that the floor will hold up long-term. Mario is super friendly, honest, and goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend him if you're considering flooring work!

It took almost three months of calling, setting up appointments talking to many different companies to figure out where the leak was coming from and to get an estimate. I ultimately decided on Mt Diablo Flooring Systems. They were very prompt in getting back to me and explaining how they would take care of the water leakage issue. We set a start date. My contact person was Alex. A crew came out to do the balcony floor demolition. The work was done expediently by a friendly team of workers. A section of the balcony stucco wall was also removed and a new wall built and painted to match perfectly. Alex always texted me with updates along with pictures on work completed. I must say, Alex was exceptional in getting back to me as soon as possible whenever I contacted him with any questions. I was concerned that there might be a problem when they had to remove/replace the sliding door to properly install the flashing. Fortunately, they were able to put the sliding door back without the need to purchase an expensive new sliding door. The work took a while to complete, because drying time is required between waterproofing applications on the floor surface. I am happy to finally have the balcony repaired. There is no evidence of any leak with the rains we have had so far. Alex says there is a 10 year warranty on their work - so if there is a problem, they will come back to take care of it. I would recommend Mt. Diablo Flooring.

Diablo Flooring was assigned to apply the new decking material on our front cat-walk/patio & our back deck. Due to the insistence from Rossmoor's Building Maintenance Inspector, this was ordered to be done in January 2019. It was cold, rainy & blustery & these 2 men had to deal with the weather issues for the decking material to adhere with a good outcome. They could not have done a better job & could not have been more pleasant. They also communicated with written notices about what each day would entail. They were also kind enough to move our Weber grill so that they could complete their work. We appreciated all that their job entailed & wouldn't hesitate to use Mt Diablo again (as long as Ken & Andy were the appointed team)!
