I was looking to replace all the carpet flooring in my newly built home with LVP and found Mario here on Yelp right away. I decided to give him a try--and I'm glad I did. Mario's knowledge and understanding of flooring is top-notch. My home already had 6mm LVP on most of the first floor, but when we removed the carpet in one of the first-floor bedrooms, I did a calcium chloride test and found the concrete moisture level was much higher than I was comfortable with. After doing some research and discussing options with Mario, we decided to apply Bostik coat to seal the moisture. That made a huge difference. We also added a proper moisture barrier on top, which gave me peace of mind. Given the moisture level in the concrete, I ended up removing the original 6mm flooring too. That turned out to be the right call--when we pulled it up, we discovered the old moisture barrier sheets weren't taped properly, just laid side by side. So we redid the whole floor with Bostik + taped moisture barrier + 8mm LVP. Mario managed to reuse most of the baseboards--only one room needed new ones. While the project ended up a bit more expensive than originally planned, the results look great and I feel confident that the floor will hold up long-term. Mario is super friendly, honest, and goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend him if you're considering flooring work! read more

I am in the market for new flooring. I have called around and received multiple quotes for flooring installation. Licensed contractors and flooring experts have given me estimates for my project. I called Morales flooring in order to receive a quote and compare and I was given information that did not seem correct. I was told that flooring could not be added on top of my existing wood floors. I was told I would have to demo my hardwood floors before I could install floating luxury vinyl planks. It seems strange that no one else, including contractors gave me this information. I was reassured that this was possible. I feel that I was given this information so that this company could up charge and gain more profits. It's tough to be on the market to remodel your home with greedy companies out to get you. I would recommend to get multiple quotes and compare before going with any particular company. read more

READ AND BEWARE - The never ending saga continues. Mario has caused damages to my house and I had to have another company come and fix our bathroom. He promised to pay for damages but is now refusing to pay me unless I remove the reviews. He tried to have me sign a contract saying I had to remove all reviews and messages to get payed. When I called him out on it, he tried to act like that wasn't his intentions until he realized I wasn't going to remove my reviews. Mario did a good job on my new flooring and stayed in touch during the entire process. If there was something that needed to be addressed, he took care of it, which I appreciated. It is really difficult to find good vendors, and I believe Mario tries to run an honest business. I highly recommend Morales Flooring. My initial review of the company was not positive, there was some miscommunication in the beginning, however, Mario went above and beyond to make it right. We are beyond satisfied with the installation of our flooring. We had carpet in the living room, stairs and office and we wanted to extend our existing flooring with no transitions. This was no small task. Mario was able to track down the exact flooring that we had in our kitchen and dining room so that the match is absolutely perfect. They worked quickly but meticulously. We started a floor remodel at our place and looked at options. We picked up a handyman who had 5 stars. 2 days into the work he tells us he is trying his best to complete a weeks worth of work but won't be done anytime soon. We contacted morales when we were 3 weeks into the mess and handyman stopped responding to our calls and had already taken pre payment.
