Because of the unique nature of our wedding - we picked the majority of the songs - since regular wedding music just wouldn't fit our particular event. But Craig did a great job of reading the room and playing the right song at just the right time. His rates were very reasonable. We also liked that he was fully contained - all he needs is a little space and an outlet! Throughout the whole process he was always very professional and quick to respond to any emails or requests. He was fun and friendly at the wedding, but not some over the top, obnoxious DJ. He adjusted to our style of wedding perfectly. He was also great at making announcements and keeping our guests informed throughout the day which was again really important for our non-traditional wedding. We were very pleased with Craig -- we definitely would recommend him for any kind of wedding, party, or event!

Craig was very professional throughout the entire process. He responded quickly to questions and requests before our event and showed flexibility, spontaneity, and creativity during the event. He was able to both DJ and MC the activities with practically no assistance. The kids had an absolute blast. You could've knocked me over with a feather when he got 12 & 13-year-olds, oh so full of swag, to do the Hokey Pokey and many, many other group dances that put everyone on equal footing and made even the shy kids want to participate. The games Craig had them play were hysterical. I wasn't quite sure what was happening when I saw my daughter and a male friend hugging each other as hard as they could until I realized, to my great relief, there was a balloon squeezed between them that they were trying to pop as part of the Balloon Pop game. Several generations of adults as well as kids ran for the single chair that served as a buzzer in the Name That Tune Game. And following the Mummy Wrap Game, Craig came up with an immediate follow-up game where the mummies had to break free of their wrappings. This led to what had to be the highlight of the evening--the biggest toilet paper fight set to music that I've ever witnessed. Craig had every tune my daughter requested plus many more to spare. The kids had plenty of time to free dance. All the more formal parts of the evening were worked in beautifully. The kids told me it was the best party they had ever been to. The volume was perfect, there was no extra charge for lights, and the price could not be beat. We'd recommend Craig for any event requiring a talented DJ.

Paul had a lot of great reviews on his website, though not on any public review websites, so in a way I was taking a risk (which is why I decided to create this Yelp page for him). He seemed really nice and outgoing over emails, and the price was right. The friend of a friend described him to be very professional, but a bit quiet. I beg to differ, haha. My husband and I are both from SF, Bay Area. We drove down to SoCal one wkend to meet with all our vendors, including Paul. We were eating in Korea town and decided to meet in this indoor plaza. Poor guy's never been to Korean town, hopefully he didn't get too lost. He said he would be wearing a fedora hat. Already I'm thinking - how can this guy be quiet or shy?? As soon as we sat down, the conversations started flowing. This guy is HILARIOUS, super outgoing and way easy to talk. He works for Disneyland as an actor - so really??? quiet?? Not even close!! We started talking about music and the kind of theme we wanted. He had a bunch of suggestions and even started singing them! Lol love this guy! So planning process - this guy is SO responsive. It's a breath of fresh air really, when you've worked with vendors who takes weeks to respond. He was always so positive and took in all of my requests - including my long list of PLEASE PLAYS! :) I filled in the DJ worksheet and he took it and did wonders with it. I admit I was a bit skeptical about how it was all going to work out, but I think its natural for every bride. You spend so much time on the bits and pieces of everything that it's hard for you to imagine how it's all going to come together. " "How does he know when to play this song?" "Will he remember to bring all of the songs?" "What if he doesn't set up the equipment correctly?" "What if there are awkward silences? NO AWKWARD SILENCES PLEASE!". It was clear that Paul had DJ'ed plenty of weddings before and just *knew*. It was so natural for him. He came to set up two hours before the ceremony and stayed until 10pm. He even had his own strobe light - how cool is that? (It was a big hit btw!) I sent him a few songs I purchased online, including a classical piano piece for the bridal march. As soon as the doors opened and I heard that song, I knew everything was going to be perfect. If you request it, he can also make announcements while he DJ's - like when guests should sit down, when certain events will be happening (like the bouquet toss), when the photobooth will be opening until, etc. He may add in comments to the announcement, they're almost always funny and very fitting. He has a DJ voice - you know what that sounds like? His voice is loud (but not the uncomfortable loud), makes himself known and heard, smooth, and he enunciates. This is exactly what you need in a group of about 200 guests (who may be tipsy :)). Just overall, pleasant and wonderful experience. I really lucked out with him. I've been weddings where NO ONE, I mean NO ONE danced. That sucks for them 'cuz at my wedding, EVERYONE danced and the ENTIRE TIME :) Thank you, Paul!

He was so nice and his voice is great and so easy to listen to! We met him a few months before the wedding and he was so polite and easy to talk to! He genuinely cared about what we wanted and was determined to make our day as perfect as we wanted! When the day of the wedding arrived, we were amazed that he was even better than we could have imagined! He said everything we requested and added little things here and there to keep our guests involved and feeling comfortable. I chose these guys because of the "european" aspect: there were several people from italy, germany, luxembourg and switzerland attending and I wanted to have a variety of styles. Everyone was happy and a good time--Alex moderated the flow and mood quite well and the vibe seemed seemless---all good signs of a professional. Really I had no problems. They answered their phone, took the time to answer my questions, were fair with the quotes and set-up/tore-down in appropriate time. They coordinated well with the restaurant owner and I appreciated the communication--it made my job easier. I have no complaints and they will be my first call when I have the need for a DJ again.
