We had a ricochet lightning strike on our house which wiped out most of our electronic equipment and the antenna wiring in the house. Steve came out to do a walk through and sent an estimate within a week. An electrician (Brahma) came out to do the rewiring needed. Spent most of a day replacing wire, climbing throughout the basement, crawl space and other parts of the house. Rewired the antenna and checked for other possible damage. The rewiring work was excellent, efficiently done and looked very professional. We highly recommend DJ's Electric and will hire them again to do needed work in the garage. read more

With guests in from out of town and no hot water on a Sunday, the morning after their arrival, I was distraught to say the least. Where could I turn to get this fixed ASAP?! Our hot water heater is electric so in desperation I found DJ's Electric, gave the office number a try and at the end of the answering message heard "For after hours service call Joe" and his number. Joe called me back within 30 minutes and CHEERFULLY agreed to drive the 40+ miles from his home in Missoula to our place in Hamilton. We gave him our heater's model number over the phone and he said he'd stop by and pick up some likely components on his way down and was here in just over an hour. In less than 30 minutes he'd run through checks on the 2 elements, the fuses and the thermostat before finally locating a shorted-out wire. With that fixed he was cheerfully on his way and we were so very grateful we didn't even think about what the final bill would be with overtime labor and travel. We were stunned when the bill came in today: it was a third of what we were expecting. I can't recommend DJ's more highly! read more
