Retaining Daniel Kim was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. I wish there was a single positive thing I could say about him, but there isn't. He was one of the rudest people I've ever come into contact with. I was ultimately forced to fire him and obtain new representation because of his shortcomings in the case. His case manager (Nyra - could be wrong spelling) is just as rude as Daniel. My entire time with them was filled with excuses as to why they couldn't get the job done. My case is not complete yet as I am now in month 16 since my accident without a settlement. But I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel so decided to start my review. Couple things first. Take a look at a lot of these 5 star reviews. They look like they were written by some computer algorithm. All the same things "Daniel really cared about me!" and "I got the best settlement ever!". Nothing about the process (chiropractors, doctors, pain management, MRI, dealing with the staff, etc etc). I noticed recently authentic reviews have been getting through which is good. They have been extremely negative though. I wouldn't call my experience extremely negative but it hasn't but sunshine and rainbows either. Lately Daniel's office has been A LOT more on the ball with me in terms of communication. So they get the benefit of the doubt for now but I will update my review as the process winds down. I was rear ended in Feb of 2017. I looked at Yelp reviews and as you can see Daniel's reviews are good. All 5 stars (I should have looked closer and noticed the trend from above). I called a few different places but Daniel made an impression with me. He told me he's had thousands of cases and never loses. I liked his confidence. So I said lets move forward. He sent over his underling to get me to sign the retainer. The underling was over a hour late. First bad sign. He gets there, nice kid, young guy, has me sign all the paperwork, and we are good to go. Now remember they send these guys out ASAP so they can sign you up quick and get you on retainer before you sign with someone else. It gives a good impression of this firm being on top of things and trying to move the process along. Unfortunately this has been the only "quick" thing about the process so far. You then start with the chiropractor treatments. This goes on for several months. During this time your case can't move forward until you complete all the medical procedures. So I do my 24 sessions of chiro, then you go to do the MRI (3 hour wait despite having an appointment). After that you go to a pain management doctor. They say they can do injections to alleviate the pain. So that happens. During these several months I only received 1 call from the office checking on me and the process. I thought that was strange but I figured hey whatever. So once all the medical stuff is done then they "close the case" and send a demand offer to the other company insurance. I called them and they said to wait a few months and we will see where we are at. Fine. I wait 5 months and hear nothing. So I call them and I finally get through to someone and they say they are still waiting. Fine. I call one month later. Then they can't find my file. They finally find it and they tell me that they are still negotiating. They tell me it should only be a few more weeks. I wait another 3 months. Mind you I have gotten no updates from them. I have to call each time. I leave messages if I call after hours because I work all day. They have never ONCE returned a voicemail from me. I always have to get a live person on the phone to get any updates. And worst of all is what I'm told. Each time is a different person and each person gives me a different story. I'm told one time my case is almost closed they have the settlement ready and are just negotiating with the doctors. Next time I'm told the case should be done in about a month. I call back the next month and they say another 3 months and the case is already settled. I'm not kidding I get a new story each time. I pass the one year mark and I know these things can take a while but I'm upset with all the different stories I'm getting. Finally I am told I have someone working on my case that is a dedicated contact. It only took this place over a year to put someone on my case. I'm told that they still haven't even settled with the insurance company and they are still negotiating. Mind you I have been told many times that its done. So finally this contact person tells me he is going to send one last demand letter. He gets back to me stating the amount is low buts it the best we are going to get. We agree to it and that was 2 months ago. Apparently now they are negotiating with the doctors trying to lower their amounts. This has been going on for several months apparently. Last I was told I should call back in ANOTHER month for an update. The process started out good enough, but that middle part where I felt I was in no man's land was the worst part of this experience. I literally went months with getting different stories about my case from the staff. I guess I'm too nice but I didn't get mad until I hit the year point. They now seem to be moving things along but I strongly recommend better customer service and perhaps better recordkeeping by Daniel. I shouldn't be given 6 different stories as to when this case will eventually settle. read more

Too good to be true? In my experience, 100% no and I would hands down recommend him. He and his staff from day one were professional and kind. There were about 18 physical therapy sessions 3 times a week with a chiropractor who was/is awesome. I had around 5 additional doctor appointments and 2 MRIs also with great doctors. These all are contracted with Daniel Kim. In spite of the amount of appointments, these were to obviously ensure my well being which I appreciated.
