The Silver membership just gives you 25% off which means you buy 4 get 1 free essentially. Memberships that let you go in and shoot without paying are crazy high. You can go to Duncan's and get a member ship for less than half ($280) of Sheridan's gold membership ($800). Driving to bay city every week it would still cost me way less. My mother can bust ass with a 45-magnum, and my sister could probably make a career as a professional sniper. For the longest time, they thought I was adopted because I had absolutely no interest in guns. After school was over, I decided it was time. IT WAS AWESOME. My axilla are bruised (both! learned that although I'm right handed, I'm a lefty shot). I had a teenager help me out since it was my first time. I yelped my first shot (and not in the usual yelp-kinda way). Since I'm a girl and it was my first time, I got 2 boxes of shot free. Normally $3 a box. 100 shots = $30 = better way of spending 1.5 hours of entertainment than in the casino, and way more rewarding, I assure you. They will lend you the gun, ear protection, eye protection. Ask for David, the young lad who helped me out. There are also modern weapons here as well if you are into those but the majority are older vintage firearms and equipment. In the process of moving to California I had to sell off my beloved Russian made Mosin Nagant. It had all the matching serial numbers and I kept it in excellent condition. Andy gave me a very good price for the firearm and an extra case of ammo that I had laying around for it. Whoever snatched it up is going to get a wonderful piece of history. This gun store is very clean and the owner and others at the store are nice people. As a woman I feel comfortable and welcome in this shop as opposed to many other locations.
