I usually don't write bad reviews but considering I'm out 500$ for a ceramic coat, I need to spread awareness.. here's my experience.. I've had Edgar work on my vehicles since late 2019, and up until today I will no longer be using him. I've been very loyal to him and his business as he really does great work (even still today). But unfortunately his communication, and customer service skills are lacking big time. And as of late I feel very betrayed by his business practices. So just for reference I had spoke with Edgar about getting my jet skis ceramic coated in late February/ early March when I got my truck ceramic coated by him. So we set a rough date, and he gave me the pricing. I agreed. I hit him up on IG on the 15th of March because he had an opening available for the 16th. He asked if I could front him 150$ of the overall 1000$ total to buy marine ceramic coat product. I sent it. He shows up around 6 pm and starts working on the first ski. Finishes around midnight and say he will be back to finish the second ski the next day. Fine no problem. So I end up making my first mistake, paying him in full for both skis. 150+remaining 850$. Well that's where it started going downhill. Reschedules, no call no show, no responses, unkept promises. My time is very valuable so I can't afford to do this for MONTHS on end. So by April 19th after many missed appointments and reschedules I asked for a refund. He called and explained he didn't have the money anymore. Ok I'll give him a reset so we reschedule. So 3 months later after more reschedules and missed appointments along with our time frames not aligning I'm calling him out to do the right thing. Send me a refund so I can get someone else to take care of me. There is way more to this story but I will leave it at that. Please be cautious when working with Edgar as he hasn't been great as of late, make sure he does the work before you pay him, and don't put up with getting rescheduled and pushed aside when there are many other people out there that could use the business!

Sorry that my Mom hung up on you, but you were talking over us and would not let my Mom talk. When a customer doesn't get what they paid for at all, no matter how many minutes or hours were put into the job, the job was done so poorly that we believe we should be compensated by being refunded. This is not something somebody asks for unless the job was not done. Though you've offered for us to bring it back, the problem there is since we had to completely clean the interior, we wondered what did you actually do? The dash and steering wheel, overhead, spots on seats, shifter, and more were filthy, it means it was never cleaned. You claimed you wiped it down, but the grime and dirt still came off easily when we began to clean the interior ourselves! Bringing it back is not an option and that is so sad for you and for us. We really hoped there could be a working relationship with our vehicles. But since the job was truly so poorly done, we can't bring it back to you a second time. We have no choice but to ask for a refund so we can take the same amount of money to a new detailer that we found and start over. This may feel like it's negatively affecting you, but this experience should help you moving forward in your business and how to do what's right for your customers. Please recredit our card for $400. Me: This is just one of the simplest examples that we can share with you. This is a damp rag that was perfectly white and new starting out. My Mom used this with a little bit of Awesome spray to clean just the steering wheel alone. If you did a wipe down, it didn't do much of anything, no more than any car wash would do. Edges & corners & the underlying dirt and grime were not addressed throughout the interior. A car wash is one thing. Having the car detailed is what you're supposed to be doing and what my Mom thought you were doing for $400. We wanted to get through the holidays before we contacted you again, but you have to know how disappointing this has been. As you know yourself, you thought we keep the car up very well. You said 'How do you do it?!' Thank you for that, but we brought the car to you for a detail and you had us pick it up in the dark. It wasn't until we got home in the light that we could see so many flaws that one could not call this detailing. So Mom called you, talked to you, and told you she'd bring it back to you in 2 weeks and we would discuss it then. Today, trying to make that appointment with you and talk to you about our concerns, we realized we can't go forward with you in trying to let you detail it again. Like my Mom said, we'd like to stay with you on friendly terms. Thank you for your understanding. Today we are only discussing the interior, and you are not interested in discussing that. So we were not even able to begin to bring up the exterior, which has fine scratches that should have been buffed out and a dent on the hood that was not there. We know this because we just had the entire hood painted and you were the ones to do the first washing and waxing of that paint job. We took the car to a reputable detailer that we got through our Honda dealership and they felt the job you did was not worth the price.
