Their estimate was outrageous- we needed two outdoor faucets replaced that were leaking. Their bid of $1200 included over $1,000 in labor charges alone. I asked for a breakdown of charges but didn't really get a clear answer. I hired someone else, licensed and bonded, and the job took 90 minutes, including a run to the hardware store. $1,000 for basically an hour of pretty simple work felt like an incredible ripoff to us. We paid more for the estimate fee to Cross and Sons than we ended up spending on parts and labor with a friendlier company.

I have a new ac system and furnace installed with some duct work and the price was incomparable to other companies I called, there financial options where absolutely outstanding which made the price of the unit just that much more affordable. Moving forward to the installation, this part gets a bit rocky. I had two crews come out, the first crew was suppose to be my original crew for installation. There craftsmanship wasn't the best, I will say it was concerning and I was completely dissatisfied. I had air leaks to the basement and unfinished work, that was told to get a contractor to finish when in fact I paid Assured Comfort to install. I called the company and notified them of the issue and the following day they sent out a supervisor with a different crew the following day! This new crew which consisted of (Darryl and Mike) came and completely redid what the previous crew did! The difference was NIGHT and DAY!! When the second crew left they made sure that EVERYTHING was up to par and that I was FULLY satisfied with the system, appearance, and placement of Freon lines! It was an absolute art work of what they did compared to the previous crew. I do highly recommend Assured Comfort as this is the second home I've had them install a full system. He let me know times he was available and we set up an appointment for after he got out of church. He In fact came early, which was unexpected but appreciated. He diagnosed the problem fairly quickly and repaired it same day. This was on a Sunday mind you, and I did not get charged extra which I know some companies do. Took about 3 hours and 45 minutes of that was waiting for the glue to dry. I would definitely recommend him. He has been doing this over 20 years. He said some of his customers do the work themselves after he diagnoses the problem. He doesn't mind that either just as long as he gets his service fee. Guaranteed the work for a year, can't beat that. I can now rest easy not worrying about that leak!! He says he travels all over Georgia to do work. Honest and did not try to upsell me anything.
