We've had VAMP do work on the stucco around our house quite a few times over the past ten years…read more Most recently we needed an entire wall reskimmed and color matched. It came out perfectly. They are always very professional, easy to work with, and pleasant to talk to. Thanks VAMP team!

27JAN2020 Excellent…read morework again. We had this small hailstorm in May of 2017 and the stucco crews hired by our repair contractor did a poor job of redashing. So, we hired VAMP on our own and they did great work. The caulking around the windows (which was not done by our builder at construction time) looks perfect. + Communication. Thorough and consistent throughout the process. + Setup, cleanup. 09SEP2016 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Vaughn spent a huge amount of time getting the colors to match. The workers did an awesome job. Taped and plastic sheeted everything so no stucco would be stuck in the wrong place. Immaculate cleanup. They put all our plants and furniture back to their original positions. + They will send me a bill and I will pay. 31AUG2016 The crew arrived today. We got a text message yesterday. The communication throughout this process has been very weak. It is my one complaint so far. Early August Vaughn returned with the new color samples to check colors. I only know this as I was home at the time. Late July Vaughan came and took stucco samples for color matching. 08JUN2016 1. Sent email to VAMP requesting a quote. Heard back in 1 day. 2. Mike Sweeting showed up on time to view our house and take notes and photos. 3. Received quote via email within 3 hours. 4. Prices are reasonable. Will edit when they do the work in July 2016. (Oops, late August.) - Uplift of 3% for paying with credit card. - Website is not very good.

I have built a home and renovated 3, and I have not worked with a painting company as good as Harmony. They painted my exterior that was both siding and brick. I did a white and black modern scheme, and neighbors walk by and comment how great it looks. Carlos was the project director and Sergio the crew leader, and both were a pleasure to work with. They answered my questions, were respectful of my property, and came back 2 days later for touch up. The job site was always clean. I am already getting a quote for the to paint my kitchen cabinets!

HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. When I returned to my home later that day I was appalled. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

D.Masonry - The scary pillar Before-and-After. (1930's "clinker" brick is supposed to look uneven)

And I called one other company for a second bid. David showed up in time for our appointment, and his explanation of the problem (80 year old mortar in our brick house was falling out). The previous owner had gotten some of it repaired. That mortar was failing, too. I was particularly concerned because one pillar that carries a heavy load was cracked so badly (see photo) that you could see daylight through it from top to bottom. David explained why it had failed, and how the repair work someone had done years ago made matters worse. His bid that was about the same price as the other firm, but his explanation -- and the bid itself -- were so clear that D. Masonry was my obvious choice. He provided me with proof of insurance, too, a request the other company ignored. They lived up to my high expectations. Watching them work, I realized that tuck pointing is a highly skilled craft, practically an art form. They took the time to mix and try a range of mortar colors. With their help, we selected the one they advised. Now that the new mortar has completely dried, I can see it is a perfect color match. The pillar I was so nervous about? They elaborately jacked up and stabilized things, so they could remove the pillar, which they disassembled completely, laying out all the bricks (with all the old mortar removed), so they could put them back exactly as they were, only sturdy now, and good as new. Masonry repairs -- done well -- simply disappear when the work is done, right? As long as I own this house, my gratitude for this job-well-done will live on.
