No answer Then at 4:30 an hour later, after I left , someone named Dominick shows up but doesn't have any business cards "because he got rid of them" Then Rob calls and says "he tried to text me" (he didn't) I told Rob he should of called or something I told him this is not a good first date, he said we can just cancel it then, I said fine and hung the phone up If this guy can't show up on time, or at least call to say running late, answer a text etc Why are earth would I entrust him with a bathroom remodel Hard Pass .... I think they probably do good work; however the initial estimator had to "qualify" everything to insist it was based on an average, so you can't really get a good idea of the eventual cost. Also, it's up to you to go all over to different vendors for every aspect: counters, flooring, cabinets, electrical, plumbing etc. Discussing payment would require a meeting with yet another person. We used Faros for a 2 phased backyard patio project and are really pleased with the results! We had a general blueprint that we worked from and did all the legwork with selecting the plantings but Faros executed the plan and did so on time and at a great price. Phase 1 involved a pouring a concrete patio, replacing our chain link fence with a privacy fence installing a breeze walkway and rough landscaping. Phase 2 involved creating a fire pit area, building the firepit, finishing the landscaping and plantings and, adjustments to our irrigation system. As I mentioned, we did most of the design work but Ricardo and his team executed the plan with great success. I copied my review text from Google here into Yelp: Faros was great to work with. I had them install an extra layer of wall on a partition wall in my older duplex, and they made the project smooth. At the beginning the proposal had a bunch of line items each of which I could say yes or no to, and I said yes to everything other than paint which saved me some money. I had them make sure to go through the city to see if any permitting was required, which the city said no after evaluating the project. They had a recommendation for an engineer to see if we needed blueprints for the project by getting into the attic, analyzing the structure of the house, and making sure everything would be structurally sound, and their engineer didn't recommend any blueprints given that everything looked simple enough so there was no upsell here. They had a recommendation for an asbestos and lead mitigation company that I went with who came and collected samples to ensure nothing needed to be done there, and that was negative and a straight forward process. After this I gave them my availability to get started, and they came in on time, and at the expected budget. They did great work, and I would be glad to partner with them on a project in the future. They were very patient and understanding of my questions, and I had confidence that I was getting quality work. read more

I rarely write reviews, but the experience I had with this company warrants one -- not out of malice, but in the hopes of saving others from the ordeal I endured. To start, the bathroom remodel began with promise. They came out three separate times to discuss the scope, but with a rotating cast of project managers, which with hindsight was clear from the beginning that there was no real continuity or accountability. Once the work finally began, it was a frustrating cycle of missteps, incompetence, and complete disregard for professionalism. At nearly every stage, work had to be redone -- sometimes multiple times -- due to poor execution. They damaged and broke a significant amount of the raw materials, showing a complete lack of care and skill. What was supposed to be a straightforward project ran over two weeks longer than promised, and their daily presence was a joke -- sometimes showing up for 30 minutes, then disappearing without explanation or progress. Even more infuriating was the total lack of communication. I work from home and had to rearrange my entire schedule to accommodate their erratic and unprofessional behavior. Not once did I feel like I was being informed or respected as a client. To their credit, they did remediate most of the glaring issues -- but only after repeated pushback from me to the owner. The final product reached an "acceptable" level purely by persistence on my part, but even then, the quality is sub-par and well below what I paid for or expected. In short: if you value your time, your sanity, and your standards, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I had Faros construct a 14' x16' patio covering that tied into the roof. The underside of the patio was finished out with tongue and groove panels. Also provided the electrical and gutter work. The proposal was detailed out with the different pieces to the project, which I appreciate. There were a few issues that were addressed and corrected In a timely manner and communication was good between myself and all workers involved. A slight frustration on duration of time between start of work on parts of the project. Saw some good reviews, apparently they've been around a while, so I called them about replacing my 60 year old double-wide driveway, and adding an additional walkway. First I had to schedule an appointment two days out with a two hour window. Okay. Then I had to complete a questionnaire and email it back to them. Okay. Then, after jumping through all their hoops, rearranging my schedule to meet theirs, I sit around like a fool today on estimate day wasting my time, and this guy Dominic never calls, never texts me, never emails me, and never shows up. Moved into our new house in Aug and immediately knew we needed to get a little patio made on our side yard. We don't have a lot of space, but we knew we wanted to maximize our little space. Fun fact: you can reach out to as many companies around you as you want by hitting 'request a quote' and answering a couple of questions right on Yelp - this sends out a message to all of them letting you know what you want and you wait for the responses! so convenient - thanks Yelp! Anyway, heard back from a few different companies and Ricardo was the only person willing to work with us on on the quote. We looked into taking out some things, adding other things, even ordering the pavers ourselves to cut down on costs. He helped us out quite a bit and came out a good $2k less than the other quotes we received. Ricardo was timely, responsive, and his team did a GREAT job at making sure we were involved and knew exactly what was happening every step of the way.
