He was rude and didn't explain a thing while he was entering the information into his computer. Instead of actively helping me with my taxes and where I could save money or pay less taxes, he just performed data entry in front of me. Also his demeanor was less than professional and condescending when I explained the documents I gave to him. The tone was rude and not what I'd expected. I also am a new business owner and when I asked about the taxes related to my business he promptly interrupted me and told me I had no real business and people just go around saying they own a business when they don't. I didn't understand & told him I'd made actual sales- which makes me a business owner. I want to make sure everything is done by the books. Either way, there are many write offs he could have helped provide me for my business but he never did. Not sure if he just doesn't know what he's doing or likely, he doesn't care. I'm going to look into another accountant that will actually help me instead of one that charges upwards of $400 to watch him do data entry & treat you disrespectfully. I'd recommend looking into other accountants and not wasting your time and hard earned money here. I was a loyal customer for years, but not anymore.
