Two workers came to do the installation. Although they both worked hard at the task, neither had done such a job before, restarting the job twice and calling a local awning company for advice. Due to their inexperience and a rising wind, the workers had to leave with the work undone. The second day one of the workers returned and finished the task. A total of about 7 man hours of labor were expended to do the work that in prior years was accomplished in 3 to 4 man hours. The owner of the franchise was unwilling to negotiate the cost of the work. I paid for on-the-job training as well as for the actual installation. The cost to install the awning was roughly FIVE times the cost as for previous years. I'll will never I hire this company again.

When he showed for the job, he was professional and fixed the attic door. It had a bent arm, and we were losing heat because the door didn't fully close. He spent time adjusting the springs and replaced (both) side arms to keep the weight and tension evenly distributed. He got it done and we were pleased with the end result. DRIED PAINT ON CARPET: The 2nd task was to remove spilled, dried in paint on carpet. We tried everything ourselves to clean up the stain, and even rented, "Rug Doctor". We thought our only hope was to remove the carpet and tile that floor to match our other floors. Jacop said that he thought he could remove the stains, and to our amazement, he got it done with a wire brush and the appropriate stain removal for dried in paint. Jacop saved us a lot of money, and thanks to his honesty and problem solving, we didn't have to tile that room after all. It looks like there was never any stains on that carpet. We are incredibly happy with the end result and the money he saved us on not having to tile that room! Jacop is not only efficient, but also honest. Thank goodness that he came up with a solution, rather than hitting us with an expensive tile job. We appreciated his honesty, which is rare these days! He's a very nice person and we would use his services again.
