My husband and I were only in town for a week and trying to tackle as much maintenance as possible in a very short window. After requesting a quote online, Paul followed up quickly via text and we scheduled a consult for the very next morning. Paul and his son were an absolute pleasure to work with. They clearly understood our situation--we just needed to get the house in good shape to sell--and never once tried to upsell us. In an age where so many companies subcontract everything out, it was incredibly refreshing to work directly with a father-and-son team who clearly take pride in their work. We even spent some time swapping stories about great rock 'n' roll shows we've seen. On their way out, I asked if we could quickly borrow their measuring tape to check the size of a missing piece of siding, since we planned to try fixing it ourselves. Without hesitation, they offered to take care of it when they came back to install the windows. That generosity alone meant so much and took one more thing off our very full to-do list. A few weeks later, the windows arrived and were installed without issue--and they absolutely added value to the house. But the story doesn't end there. Less than a week before closing, we discovered another piece of siding that needed repair. I texted Paul to see if they might be able to fix it or recommend someone, fully expecting to pay. Instead, Paul personally stopped by the very next day and took care of it himself. There is truly no one better to work with than Paul and his team. Weird but fine, if the text etiquette is on point. His was a mess. He asks me to take pictures inside and out, of the windows. Ok sure, but I'm one town over and you could just pop by. He asks what I want, I say picture windows. He sends me a picture of double hang and says he recommends them. Don't need them. Then he just TEXTS me a price range. Red flag. Where's your quote with the type of door being used? Also, the number is high. I ask for the SKU to look it up on my own. He sends me a generic link to an affiliate landing page for DOUBLE HUNG DOORS. Ok, so here's where you have to use your best judgement. These guys have great ratings on multiple pages, so they obviously do excellent installs. But that doesn't mean they aren't ripping people off, because you can get similar work done for MUCH cheaper. That's where I got him, bc he wasn't willing to disclose where his range was coming from and then immediately tried to pass me off to Renweal by Anderson, which is widely known as THE biggest price-hike in the game. The safe bet with them is whatever they quote you initially is about double what it should actually cost. So it makes sense the owner thought it's a reasonable peer in the industry. Then he weirdly started text-harassing me when I passed on his offer. Piss off.

The bow window installation looked difficult but these experienced guys got it done and it's absolutely beautiful! Some minor details had to be addressed regarding the bow window. Chris came out again and finished the inside with impeccable woodworking skills. I had to contact them months afterwards when I heard nothing and reminded them they need to come out to replace the skylight. And this is not an uncommon occurrence, a lot of reviews state the same thing that once the company cashes the deposit, crickets for months. During the replacement process, I noticed they used damaged wood and I was shocked they would even think using wood with dents and obvious flaws would acceptable for a $5,000.00 job. I brought up the issue to the receptionist but they didn't relay it to the workers so I had to bring it to them when they were in my home to fix it. They also dropped a hammer on my new hardwood floors and dented it which I caught on camera and you can't fix that. Their fix to the damaged wood was using a tub of wood putty and smearing it on the board, and then painting over it instead of replacing the entire section. To protect my peace, I let it go. But afterwards I was getting people from the city ringing my doorbell to inspect the light I wasn't aware of. I called the company to inquire if it was a scam, they said it was no scam and they informed the city to come to my home and inspect. I tried getting in touch with the sales rep for the second skylight and they've ignored me completely. No return calls or emails. With the way they operate, I'm not sure the company should have a second chance of a second skylight if they were this unprofessional the first time around.

He came by, spent about 10 min walking around, rang the doorbell and gave me a sheet of paper with the quote. Easy and painless as that. I asked for roof quote and got exactly what I wanted. He did not need to come inside or make me listen to a 2 hr sales pitch. I've had at least 2 other companies who tried to do that when I was getting a roof for the quote. 1 of them gave me a quote on sidings instead. The other did not even give me a quote because I decided to kick them out after half an hr. After getting some other quotes I decided to go with Robert and he agreed to come out 2 weeks later. His crew came on time as promised but he wasn't physically there until the end of the day. Overall his crew was efficient. They finished within 1 day as promised. The shingles looked okay, not as flat or even like our neighbors but it appeared to be just fine. They finished the roof before a big snow storm and rain/wind storm within the same week. It was able to withstand everything just fine and no noticeable water leak or anything in the attic. I did discovered a small chipped wood area in the attic which I can see some of the underlayment and shingles but water was not getting through or anything. I will continue to monitor. They actually was supposed to install the chimney as well forgot so they returned a few days later to complete it as promised. Overall fantastic job from Robert and his crew. From the quoting process to the fast efficient work. Cosmetically the shingles could have looked a bit better and more even but functionally it seems to have served its purpose and was worth it for the price I paid.
