Unfortunately, not only has 33 aquarium closed. All of the locally owned aquarium stores are closed now. The last one standing was Broadway aquatics unfortunately the longtime owner sold to Colorado based MC aquatics. They operated the store for about a year then they closed the store permanently on January 11, 2024

Having a tank can get pricey but Ryan was able to find used equipment in excellent shape so we were able to focus more on fish, coral and lighting. We had no idea what we even wanted when we started and Ryan was wonderful with choosing fish but growing coral is a real talent of his and I have to say that we love the live coral almost as much as the fish! They are really beautiful and add to the tank in a way that I couldn't have imagined. Ryan is a great guy, very organized and an absolute pleasure to work with.

(5 )…read more For over 7yrs we have been going here and enjoyed the atmosphere, education, & personal attention our son got from the owner & "some" staff. As he had a 70g fresh water & 30g saltwater (5 ) he would spend every penny he had & beg us to take him weekly He recently took his 3yr clown fish in hopes to sell it back - as he has done with a few of his other previously purchased fish from BF. The young person offered him $5 he bought the fish for $8 and it's tripled in size.. hands down bigger than any clown fish in the store (1 ) He told them that was insulting - as would I & asked to speak to the mgr - the kid said, I am & all I'm giving you is $5 (1 ) Needless to say, Nemo was happily donated to our family chiropractor. It isn't about money, it's about principle & doing what's right. Shame on you, kid behind the counter Monday afternoon 3/14/22 at BFA. We'll gladly spend our money elsewhere
