In the midst of a pandemic, I was really glad to see Zoom classes offered and signed up with low expectations; I was just hoping to find my daughter an outlet for her energy. Ms. Aria and Ms. Christine remembered us even though we were gone for a while and my daughter was quickly put into the right class level. 4 days later, we received the Zoom invitation for her first class. Ms. Aria offers the Pre-Ballet 1 & 2 class to on-site in an outdoors setting (plenty of water breaks) and Zoom students, and I am impressed at her effort and attention to both on-site and her Zoom students as they are, after all, young children. After the first class on a tablet, our family experimented with our zoom learning space and eventually settled on projecting to the wall-mounted TV with a blue tape on the carpet to keep our kid within camera view, so Ms. Aria can monitor my daughter's progress more easily. By the end of second class, my daughter has revisited the old ballet positions and learned new ones, all from the comfort of our living room (aka zoom learning space). I am really glad we signed up for Zoom ballet classes. My daughter was so excited for her second class this week she was all dressed and ready to go an hour before class. The seats behind the very front row have NO view, and the people in front of you in this section who used their cell phones to record ABOVE their heads blocked our view even further. We were straining our necks, and bobbing left and right just to to try to see a few kiddos in each of the performances. It was further frustrating to be additionally blocked by these people in front of us who were holding their cell phones up above their heads. Why are people so thoughtless? The director CLEARLY stated "no cell phone recording", but these people felt entitled to do as they pleased and to heck with those of us behind them . What a great dance school, and WOW, such talented kiddos! We'll return again, but we'll make sure to book better seats for sure next time.

The singing and the acting was very good for a small theater in Roseville. They are very talented. On the way out I seen that they have more plays coming like a SpongeBob musical .I would definitely want to come back with my other son and my husband to check it out. I seen that they had a snack bar. It was not open at the time of the field trip but I'm assuming it is for regular plays so that would be nice to check out. . Overall, it was a fun time. The amount of work that the owner and studio staff put in to keep this place running smoothly is insane! There are a huge number of dancers, and the fact they can coordinate all of the competitions, activities, shows, information, etc. just shows how important this all is to the studio. The teachers are professional and there are so many options for helping your child further their passion and development. The competition teams have bonding nights and activities throughout the season to build relationships and connection and it shows in how the dancers all treat each other. Overall it has been a wonderful experience being part of PDC!

But because of this fact they should've taken into account that majority of the actors auditioning for this show were not the correct ethnicity for such a setting. If they were locked in on their iteration, then they should have done a call for actors of Middle Eastern and African decent. This is appalling in 2026. Do better.
