Kudos to you for being ever so brave enough to enter into the maelstrom to pick your daughter up, despite the obvious risk to life and limb you endured due to this utter betrayal of your faith in humanity! Here's the thing, Mr. Savvy consumer: No one, NO ONE is required to do anything for you. This is a primary failure on your part to assume such and on this state to try and enforce their actions on the populace. You don't like the way an organization conducts their business? Then guess what? You have every right to NOT patronize that business. The question is, whether or not you are capable of doing so without reciting your experience as if you survived a Soviet minefield in 1980's Afghanistan. You "dodged 3 then 2 children, who were not wearing masks"?!?! Thank God you had your Matrix moves on full display tonight, Neo. And then, as if to rub salt into the wound, you were victimized again, when you looked into a room and saw "...6 to 9 people...none of whom were wearing masks!" (emphasis yours, cupcake). How, in the name of all that is holy, did you survive??!! You could have possibly died, right there on the spot! I weep for you, that you had to be exposed to the sight of (by your count) somewhere around 25-30 people not wearing masks. It sounds as though you may want to seek some counseling for the PTSD you've likely have now. That had to be terrifying. Since you want to throw numbers out (great job on the Google search by the way), per the numbers you quoted, 724,081 people have died from this virus (miraculously, none of them from the common flu, since we seem to have somehow completely eradicated that little bug from the world suddenly), in a world with a population just under 8,000,000,000 (8 billion). What's even more terrifying is that of the approximately 19,500,000 confirmed cases of COVID world-wide, approximately 724,000....I mean, 724,081 people have died, or 4% (.037 actually)...so there is a 96% survival rate. Factor into those numbers all of the bogus "COVID" deaths and the survival rate increases significantly (HONEST sources have the survival rate at somewhere between 98-99.5%, if you care). But, alas, I'm sure all of this information is going to fall on deaf ears with you, Kevin, er, Brian. You are clearly far too interested in putting your inner Karen on full display for the world to see. So, here's an easy solution for you: Don't take your kid to that dance studio any more and move on with your life. That way, you won't have to sit there, shaking in fear disguised as outrage, lambasting others who don't feel like they're charging up Mount Suribachi every time they have to go out in public around uncovered faces as you bravely recount your near-death jaunt through the germ warzone from behind the safety of your keyboard. I'm curious William Wallace; did you bother to address your concerns with any of the staff as you dodged the little two-legged landmines intent on bringing your demise face to face, or was it more of a "Ohhhhh, I am SO going to flame them with an epic one star Yelp review when I get home!" sort of thing? Asking for a friend. As a side note, I'm sure you can find some great counselors to assist you with your PTSD on Yelp as well. Just make sure you find the ones that are certain to wear their face masks. Wouldn't want you to get triggered and experience any flashbacks from your traumatic experience. Lastly, I LOVE this dance studio, based solely on the fact that they teach their students to treat everyone with kindness, they give these young girls the confidence to face their fears and face the world. They inspire self-confidence and respect. They do so by being living examples to their students. And they do it so well, that no one associated with the school will call you out or correct you; because they are more concerned with setting an example to their students than they are about defending themselves from your spineless attempt to bring the sniveling cancel culture of today to their doorstep. I highly recommend this studio! We absolutely LOVE this studio. This studio cares so much for my entire family, not just my dancers at the studio. During the beginning of the pandemic and the required stay at home order, they continued to provide classes to the dancers via Zoom and they sent out videos to give the dancers & siblings something to do and to keep up their dance skills. Once the studio could open back up, they sent out new guidelines specifically addressing the new safety measures that are required to be safe in the studio. These include requesting that parents not enter the lobby but rather have their child meet them at the door to reduce the number of people in the lobby. They have hand sanitizer bottles at the front door, every entrance & in the studios that the dancers are supposed/told to use, as well as the dancers are able to wash their hands in the restrooms at any time. In addition, the teachers make the dancers wash their hands after class. They limit the number of students and props being used in each class and have numbers on the floor to keep them separated by 6 feet. After each class, the teachers and the older students clean the room, bars and props to ensure safety. Students are told not to share snacks/food. During the breaks dancers must wear a masks when passing through the lobby and must sit 6 feet apart. Obviously the breaks are in part for snacks/water so the students are allowed to remove their masks for that purpose and since the breaks are short, the dancers would primarily not have masks on while sitting during the break. The teachers are always in the classroom and a sign on the door instructs students not to enter unless the teacher is in the studio. They teach the class from the front of the classroom and stand along the wall to maintain social distancing, wearing masks when they are closer than 6 feet. From the lobby, the teachers would not be visible, but they do not leave classes unattended. They have student helpers in many classes to ensure that someone is attending to the class should they have to assist a student. I'm grateful for this studio for continuing to do what they can to provide a safe environment for my kids to do what they love and for them to be able to get physical exercise, learn discipline and have a break from the negativity of the times we live in. I have 2 daughters who attend Next Level Dance Center, and am so happy that they are getting some sort of normalcy back in their lives during this crazy time! The owners and employees are amazing! They are doing all they can during this unexpected situation to ensure the safety of the children. All children who enter the lobby/studio areas must wear a mask upon entry, and then when they go into the class, they are spread 6' apart. The owners made it clear that they were not going to require kids to wear masks during classes, but could if the parents so desired. I am personally thankful for this rule, as it cannot be not safe for kids to wear masks while participating in physical activity, as it's hard enough for me to breathe in a mask simply walking around Costco for an hour. My girls informed me that all equipment that is being used in the classes are being thoroughly cleaned after each use, to ensure the safety of the kids. I feel that this studio is doing everything they can to make the kids, families, and employees safe during this unprecedented time. I am so happy that we have a routine again, as may kids have been yearning for their "normal" back! If you want to have your kids in a compassionate and safe studio, this is it for sure! read more

I have TWO children that have attended this studio for the last 4 going on 5 years. They have received not only the best training but they have joined a family. A group of staff and other families that have made this a second home for my girls and our family! They have done everything they can to work through this unfortunate pandemic to ensure that all children can have somewhere to have an outlet, friendships and normalcy. COVID has caused so much sadness for my children and having dance and being able to see their teachers and friends is something that offers them hope and a distraction from all the negativity in the world. The studio does their best to keep things clean and follow their protocol as it relates to covid and the safety of our children. People leaving negative reviews you all have a choice to not come here if you don't feel safe. Do you yelp about a grocery store or any store for that matter that doesn't enforce everyone to wear a mask?!!!! It is impossible to make both sides of this issue happy. How about having some empathy about that and small business owners who are trying to survive! again you all have a choice. My family has made choice to have my children here. read more

This dance studio is my child's lifeline. She has severe anxiety and would never venture out of her comfort zone before joining NLDC. The studio has the teachers and lobby personal wear masks. The parents were given the option if they wanted their children to wear masks during class or not. They were given the option of zoom also. If you are afraid of your child being exposed then you should keep them home. I want my child at dance. I don't want them wearing masks while dancing. If the teachers and employees had masks on the whole time then there should not be a problem because many emails were sent out saying kids did not have to wear masks during class and you made the choice for your own child to attend or not. This virus is not going away. Everyone has to get it or a vaccine. It is ridiculous that we are destroying small businesses over fear. For some children like my own this is the most important thing in her life and this studio has done more for her self esteem than any therapy, or anxiety medication could. The owners devote their lives to these kids and have jumped through hoops to make it safe. Make your own choices and let my family make ours. We choose to dance. read more

I love this studio! We have been at NLDC for 4 years, this next year being our 5th season. The teachers are absolutely amazing, caring, personable and strive to have the kids reach their full potential. My girls have improved their technique drastically since moving from a different studio to NLDC; it's amazing to see their growth. During this crazy COVID time, they provided Zoom classes in place of in-person classes so the kids could continue to improve their technique even when they couldn't be in the studio. Unfortunately, during the shutdown they had to downsize from 4 studios to 2, which drastically changed their availability of classes offered. But even with that, they adapted and have offered a new schedule so my girls could continue to grow and improve their technique. NLDC goes above and beyond my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the studio. I strongly recommend NLDC for both a recreational and competitive dance studio! read more

My daughter who has been at this studio for 5 seasons has learned so much! This is her 2nd home! She has built relationship with each teAcher and her friends! This is her dance family! She has learned so much, grown as a dancer and has received so much love and support from her teachers!! This studio does everything in their power to follow the COVID guidelines so they can stay in business! Each kid sanitize their jabs before and after class. There is no sharing food. They don't wear masks while they're dancing as this is problematic and not healthy! They do wear masks as they enter and leave building! One entrance in and one exit! They have the best interest for the kids! Without having this studio, my kid would have no life! This studio is glue that holds my daughters life! This dance company has gone above and beyond for my girls. My oldest has danced here for three years. When everything happened they were the only studio offering zoom live classes and have rolled with the punches so well closing one studio and enforcing masks, sanitizing, and distancing, they have refigured dance teams to have less kids so less kids are in studio. It's unfortunate that people don't see how much they've jumped through hoops to make our kids have their dance family! Love love love this studio! The teachers, Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Brittney and Ms. Amber are amazing! Their love for dance really comes through in their teaching. I love that they focus on technique. I've seen a huge improvement in my daughters skill level in a short time. They are very patient and great with the kids. There are a variety of classes available. My daughter loves the teachers so much she wants to take every class and can't wait to come in week after week. If your child loves to dance this is the place to go! My daughter's confidence has sailed since attending this school. They are always positive and friendly. They hold their students to a standard of no negativity allowed. I love it. Performance comes with confidence in yourself, they understand that. My two daughters have danced at Next Level Dance Center since they opened. We have found a studio who cares for my children as people and in advancing their dance careers. The teachers and staff are always so professional. I have had the privilege of participating and being backstage for the summer show as well as the dance team shows. I would recommend this studio to everyone I know. The dance instructors are well trained and do a great job working with the students on dance technique and choreography. NLDC is amazing we are on our 3rd year with them. They brought my shy little dancer out of her shell...she's still shy but you wouldn't know it in dance class. The positive attitude of the staff as a whole and how supportive they are of these kids is amazing.
