It may not be as big as bigger cities (LA, NY) but I'm glad they had one. Here was my experience here. AMBIANCE: It's in more of a suburban area of Chicago. Relatively close (15 minutes) away from the airport and from downtown. The place itself is on the 2nd floor of a building. It seems like a pretty historic brick building with a spacious layout. The layout is basically one big floor to dance on with ceiling lights and string lights to bright up the place. The class consisted of a lot of talented 40+ which was cool as they had a lot of knowledge to share. The size is great for group practices and socials. Parking - Pretty much just street parking. Customer Service - Awesome! My instructor was Dawn Lara and she was great! Knowledgeable and friendly. I felt pretty welcomed in this place. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. I had a great experience here! The instructors were awesome and my classmates were pretty fun. One of the main things for me was always feeling will people be condescending and whatnot, but the vibes were pretty welcoming here. This was a good start to learning more about the dance community and scene here in Chicago, I just wish I stayed longer to learn more! The teacher/owner is very good with the kids and our daughter seems to really enjoy it. The lessons are around $20 per hour, but we have gotten several coupons so it helps. I love to give local businesses the support, and they do a good job with the girls. We're going to keep sending her here because she enjoys it and it's close to home.

Plus I wanted an option in case I had to fight a case of insomnia and couldn't go to sleep, and I need it to work out in the middle of the night. This anytime fitness is located near the Village Crossing Mall, off to the side on Central Avenue, away from the other stores. The person who registered me was super nice and friendly and gave me a tour of the place. The size of the gym is somewhat small, I would compare to a couple steps up from a hotel gym but slightly bigger. In terms of the equipment, it has several cardio machines, and a few squat racks, which doubles as a bench press if you set the height and bench properly. There's also some free weights, and free benches as well. What I look for at a gym is a place to do squats, deadlifts, bench press, and overhead press. Everything else is a bonus. They do have several machines, but nothing too serious for a good leg workout. But overall it gets the job done. There is no locker room per se, but there is three private bathrooms, which includes a sink, shower, and toilet. Overall, I would go here and recommend, if you're looking for a place that is 24 hours, but not as busy like an Xsport, with average equipment.
