Beware! Extremely unethical and immoral practice. As a patient, I've never felt more victimized and violated in my entire life. The lack of respect DNG Medical has for their patients money & time is inconceivable. After amicably asking for a solution to my asymmetrical and overfilled/lopsided lips, I was told "I'm just trying to get something for free". An insult that I will never get over. I waited 3 months for an appointment with Dr. Dulce and paid double the average market cost to be treated like a peasant. Not only like a peasant asking for "something free", but shamed and talked down to by Dr.Dulce staff and husband at the front desk while I was visibly upset and emotionally broken. I truly feel taken advantage of, and the hurtful part is, the only recourse I have as a patient is to write a review warning people about the unethical and immoral policies this practice has in place to get away with taking money after extremely negative results. I urge you to thoroughly read their terms and conditions before you make a deposit for treatment at their office. Fully understand the repercussions if you are botched or unable to make your appointment. Deposits are absolutely non refundable and you are financially responsible to correct THEIR poorly filled lips. They have tactics and verbiage set in place to belittle you and manipulate you into believing the negative results are your fault. Dr. Dulce takes zero responsibility if she butchers your lips, the blame is 100% put on the patient (please see other reviews). The staff has their rebuttals down to a T, they give every unhappy patient the same exact script "fillers aren't an exact science, some patients require more filler or touch-ups" etc That is absolutely not ethical, if a filler treatment requires corrective work due to asymmetry or overfilling, in my opinion, it shouldn't be the patients financial responsibility. Corrections for poorly filled work should be complementary by the injector who administered the filler. How can you charge a patient to correct your botched work. I was also told, if I didn't like their policies that I should have gone somewhere else, I agreed to their terms and conditions. This is true, I can not believe I put myself in this position. How could I be so Naïve! I was a victim of the Instagram hype and the "never me" mentality. By all accounts, it's Dr.Dulce, I'm going to one of the best in the industry (so I thought), I'm paying top dollar, surely they wouldn't leave me botched. Wrong wrong wrong! The only options they give you for their poorly filled lips is to dissolve the filler you paid for ($900-$1,600) of your hard earned money, or pay for more filler so they can try and fix their bad work. I truly admired Dr. Dulce, I put her on a pedal stool. I thought she had an unmatched talent for aesthetics, and I refused to go to anyone but her. Now I realize she is just a product of Instagram hype, and the hype has gotten to her head. I do not feel this office cares about you, your money or your time. The second you express dissatisfaction, they have a "I'm BIG, you're small, what are you going to do about it approach?" You are not a person, your feelings don't matter to them, you are a number . My fellow Cosmetic Injectors took one look at me and were floored. They immediately pointed out the overfilled pockets and asymmetry. My top lip had two completely different shapes and my lower right lip was overfilled. I want to be very clear, as someone who works in this industry. I'm fully aware that injectors have their off days, and the conditions for injecting a patient aren't always optimal. However, it is the injectors moral responsibility to HUMBLE themselves and correct their work. That is the right thing to do, not shame and manipulate the patient into believing it's their fault. I waited two months to post this review in hopes my lips would settle more. I traveled from California to get lip filler, I also dissolved my lips prior just to get my lips done here. I absolutely hate my lips and they were much better before I dissolved them. I asked for defined borders but ended up with overfilled, puffy lips and you can clearly see the filler is outside of my lip line. The middle of my top lip is also pulled down creating more of a "m" shape which looks awful. I also asked for kysse because it's softer but Jenny recommend a different filler because she could define my borders more with it. Now my lips are as hard as a rock and filler over the line. Not only did I spend $1000+ to dissolve my lips prior then $900 for this filler and $700 round trip to fly there and back, not I have to pay to dissolve them again $1000+ then have someone else refill them $1000. I went to Jenny. If you go to this clinic I would recommend spending the couple hundred more and going straight to dr. Dulce. read more

THE MIAMI LIP GOD! Dr Dulce is the best! Her office is clean, and her staff is very friendly. Dr Dulce always answers my questions truthfully and has the best interest in her patients. I came into her office with uneven lips which has always been an insecurity of mine and after 1 syringe I had the confidence to finally buy/wear lipstick. I was worried as to why I still a little swollen 2 weeks after I got the injections so I texted the office and they were very helpful and answered me quickly, they put my concern at ease and were willing to schedule a follow up. Please note, the process is not perfect. You could possibly swell, and bruise (like I did). I had a bad hematoma. It took me about a month to fully properly heal and afterwards I was in LOVE with the results. 3 months later I booked my second appointment because although Dr Dulce is super talented and proportioned my lips, I still felt like I wanted more to fully achieve the results I was looking for, she really listens to what you want and is very realistic with you. Dr Dulce is not a miracle worker, she is realistic with you but you cannot expect perfection, this is process and if you're not willing to invest in QUALITY work for yourselves then I suggest you direct yourselves elsewhere. I don't even know where to start. POOR customer service!!! The staff is so rude, which is expectable since leadership is extremely rude as well! First appt cost me a fortune bc they have this "policy" that you must pay to have the previous fillers dissolved before adding more, (even if there isn't any left) I never heard that before. Nice way to make extra money. Big scam!!! It's impossible to make an appt with the Dr., so I saw her assistant, who after 3 appts she still couldn't make my lips even. And every single time I had to go back to fix it, they made me pay for it, even though it was a touch up to fix their own mistakes. I always wondered if that was on purpose. They just want to take your money and don't care if you're happy or not. The latest was that I had an appt scheduled for Botox (of course I'm not allowing them to touch my lips again), and the appt was cancelled bc she was positive for COVID-19. They didn't have any plans to accommodate the clients at all (again, they don't care) so I had to ask if I could see someone else. The Dr. wasn't available for another 9 days from my original appt and she was charging so much more for the same product and service. Another one of their "policies". I have made 3 separate appointments (over a span of a year)with this office, had $500 taken as a deposit for each. The first appointment was canceled due to an overlap issue with a previous beauty treatment; however, the next two were "declined" without explanation or reason. I have contacted this office countless times, in multiple ways trying to figure out why my appointments keep being rejected. I have not gotten a response for months. As far as Customer Service in Miami goes, I usually give everyplace one star but DNAge is definitely a diamond in the rough in many ways! They are all very attentive and professional. So.. real raw review because why not? I have followed this lip Queen (Dr. Dulce) since before I had my first kid and he's now 4.. so you do the math. -- I finally went to her back in January of this year 2020 for my bday as a gift to myself. Dr. Dulce is the absolute sweetest. Cool as hell and super down to earth. Everything I expected and more based on being a long time follower. And her injector lip gawd hands are unmatched NOW.. she warned me about possible unevenness due to swelling and bleeding.. leave it up to me to have a brunch outing the Sunday prior to appt as well as a shit ton of caffeine and an Ibruprofen. So naturally I swelled up like a blow fish and bled a bunch.. so indeed I noticed a bit of unevenness while on a trip to NY when finally the swelling and bruising had gone down. Fast forward a few days I contacted the office and costumer service was a little meh for a lack of a better word. I'm picky and I'm bitchy for services I pay for but as a business owner myself I also give the benefit because I know sometimes employees aren't the actual reflection of myself. Long story short, Gerardo reached out to me and scheduled me to come in and have Dr. Dulce check me out. She added a tiny amount to even out lip and OBSESSED falls short. She also was very concerned and apologetic of the "meh" experience I had w one of the employees. She assured this isn't how she intends to run her place and I can see that. I'm glad I gave her a chance and I get compliments everywhere I go about my lips. UPDATE; I decided to add more "plump" to my lips and scheduled an appt w Jenny 09/2020. SHE IS JUST AS AMAZING AS DR. DULCE. -- sweetest thing and super down to earth. I'm still quite swollen but I can tell you I'm in love thus far and have minimal bruising. (I clearly followed instructions this time ) -- there was a discrepancy w a referral credit because some people are freaking weird and don't wanna give the info of the person who referred them which is so dumb but again Gerardo resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Erica is the sweetest and I appreciate her kindness and patience at the front desk. So anyways, long review of my experience but in short; we aren't robots and perfection isn't a reality however, effort and amazing injector hands come close and should be given a shot! If I could give zero stars I would click it a million times! They are so rude and unprofessional!!! I had been trying to get ahold of someone for a week through their phone number, texting (which they say they prefer), email AND Instagram. It wasn't until I finally told them to forget it that they bothered to respond. And when they did, there was no apology for the delay or lack of decent treatment and they gave an excuse that Monday was a holiday (I have all the messages and screenshots). I would not have been bothered by not getting a response if I had been trying to reach them on a holiday, obviously! No normal person would expect a response. But it was a WEEK after I had been trying to reach someone multiple times through multiple methods!!! And on top of that, this is also AFTER I had gone online and reserved a booking and entered my card information!!!!! It was to the point where I called my card carrier to flag these people for fraud and block them from charging me any deposit fees (especially since they also say they will be emailing documents for me to sign in reference to those fees but never actually sent). That is not the way to treat clients. At all. I never leave bad reviews and am very understanding but this was just flat out insulting. Absolute nightmare group to deal with! Just because your work is good doesn't mean you have the room to treat people like peasants and ignore them. Absolutely disgusted. Update: Now they are messaging me nonstop on Instagram trying to prove this review wrong. They are claiming they responded. They did not. I'll start by saying I've seen their work online and they appear to be the best, but scheduling and getting a response from anyone is extremely difficult. I really wanted to work with this office but they wouldn't book me an appointment until I proved I had my previous fillers removed. This would be fine if there wasn't a 3 month waitlist for Dr. Dulce. I'm not having my filler removed to then have to wait 3 months to have them redone. Not a professional office. Extremely disappointed with the way this medical "office" is ran. I scheduled a video consultation about 2 wks ago to see if I was a candidate for lip and undereye filler. A few days after paying my deposit I received an intake form via email, promptly returned the completed questionnaire, noted that I would prefer my consultation to be conducted via Whatsapp Video (as I do not have an Apple phone or Skype) and excitedly waited for the day of my appointment. I received several automated text reminders of my appointment date on June 22, 25, 27, and 29 from an 844 number. On July 1, 2pm came and went without a call or a message and after waiting nearly 15 minutes and trying to find an actual phone number to call and reach a human being (nonexistent) I texted the 305 number listed as the contact on their Instagram and still did not receive a response. At this point, I was beyond frustrated at the lack of professionalism and punctuality for a video consultation that was prepaid as well as the fact I had another appointment to get to at 3pm. Finally at 2:25 I received a call from DNAge Medical, zero apology and accusing me of "being rude." Whoever answered the phone (Alicia I believe) should learn the difference between being rude (like you were towards your client) and understand being frustrated--a stern voice displeased with the lack of communication from the office who employs you. I was informed that there were text messages sent from the same 305 number I texted, which I NEVER received regarding the office's inability to use Whatsapp Video. I was emailed a screenshot of these alleged messages and responded back with the only communication in the thread, which was me trying to get ahold of someone after the start time of my appointment. There was never an apology for not reaching out to me, confirming that I would be using another videochat app or even calling on or before our appointment time. 5 minutes later I received a condescending email stating that normally there are no refunds on deposits, but that they were "willing to make an exception" and to find another practitioner. As if they were going to keep my deposit for their mistake... This entire miscommunication could have been handled by actually CALLING your client to relay important information regarding the video consultation, especially if you never heard a response prior to our appointment, being punctual with appointments (especially if you charge for late appointments + deposits) and also having an actual number to call if an issue arises. For the prices this office charges, you can certainly afford a phone line & someone there to answer it. Do better. read more

I am 2 weeks out from having had my lips filled at DNAge Medical by Dr. Dulce Mascariñas and HOLY COW am I ecstatic!!! I have always had lips on the thinner side and while I'm absolutely confident about my looks, I've always wished I could really show off those reds and hot pink lipsticks. I'm in healthcare myself so I did tons of research about the safety of fillers, I looked up dozens of practitioners in South Florida, and asked many colleagues about techniques used. Needless to say, I AM VERY PICKY. DNAge met and exceeded all of my pre-procedure requirements so I went ahead and made an appointment and paid my deposit. (I was prepared to forgo my deposit if at my appointment anything didn't meet my standards.) But I was pleasantly surprised at the level of pristine cleanliness I encountered. Despite the fact that everything is conducted via text and email prior to the appointment, upon my arrival, everyone was super pleasant and professional. The topical anesthetic they use is potent and divine!!! By the time I was called in to my consultation with the dr, I was numb and felt hilarious trying to talk. And then I met the doctor...The Dr is a sweetheart!!! She answered all of my specific questions with impeccable bedside manner, was very knowledgeable about the facial anatomy and chemical composition of the various injectibles and made me feel at ease the whole time. YOU GUYS, I was THAT patient The one that asked a zillion questions because I have to know everything before I feel at ease, and Dr. Mascariñas was A DOLL!! My experience with Dr. Dulce, Jenny, and the rest of the staff at DNAge Medical has been EXCEPTIONALLY amazing. I began seeing Dr. Dulce in mid June 2020. I went into my appointment fully prepared, willing, and ready to begin my dissolving process. Going into my initial consultation, I had 3 syringes total of previously injected filler by other injectors which were-- 1) very poorly placed, and 2) way too much for my face structure. I've been waiting a long time for the day that I would finally take the plunge and be ready to start this whole process with none other than Dr. Dulce. I knew that if I was going to take on this process, it was going to be once in my lifetime, and I was going to do it with only the best. The day finally came, and I was informed that I would have to dissolve (which like I said, I was mentally prepared for), so I began the process. I am coming to the end of the road with the dissolving and I can't emphasize enough how kind, patient, understanding, going out of their way, above and beyond, the entire office has been to me. It's very simple... if you're kind to others and treat people with the respect they deserve, you will receive the same in return. It is very clear that any negative reviews on here were lacking those simple human common decencies and therefore, they became salty and left unwarranted and untrue reviews. If you are thinking about going through with the dissolving/refilling process, or just looking for an injector that you are going to feel at home and feel your best with, I highly recommend going to DNAge. I could not picture myself doing this anywhere else. I also cannot picture myself EVER going to another injector after DNAge has set the bar so high. I feel confident, enlightened, and at peace when I leave their office... And that's from knowing that I'm in the best hands possible at DNAge. I never felt this way leaving other injectors' offices. I was always wondering what I had just done to my face and regretting my decisions when I used to "injector hop". Dr. Dulce's sense of care/authenticity is truly unlike anything I've come across in this field. She is not just a doctor, she is an artist and a blessing on this earth! She genuinely cares for her patients, and that shows literally in her work and when you are in her presence at the office. Jenny is also wonderful, kind, and makes you feel so comfortable during injecting. Her work and her bedside manner is A1. And last but not least, the DNAge front desk girls... they are literally a god send! They have been such angels during my whole process. They've gone above and beyond to make sure I get in for my appointments, and they are so prompt in responding to any/all of my questions/concerns (which is pretty amazing considering how highly sought after their practice is and how busy I'm sure they always are). They are the sweetest and their sense of care is so clear. These women work very hard to make sure that the patients are happy and that everything runs smoothly and they all deserve major praise! They make this all possible! (Please note: it is very important to have a positive attitude during the dissolving process. It takes patience, willingness, and determination, as well as open-mindedness to take direction and suggestions from the doctor...she knows best after all, and even though this is a long process, it is SO worth it in the end, and I mean that whole-heartedly! And if you're not prepared for that process, then it sounds like you're not ready to have an injector that is as gifted as Dr. Dulce is.
