One lady I talked to in the HR department who was rude in her email interactions. Tina also told me to send my resume to her and I did, and she still hasn't even looked over it. Overall, the worse experience I have ever had. You will be told they will help you find jobs and it's all left up to you, they will say they will help you find a job and when you do your part in finding a job, and your overqualified, they reject your application. Now that it is about to be released, I can say that editor Shannon Roberts and the team at TED, especially Jane Ryder, were instrumental in helping to take the manuscript to the next level. TED has an array of services, from proofreading to marketing, and different levels for each service to fit clients' particular needs. I chose the Manuscript Annotation option from among their editorial services, and received a comprehensive memo addressing character, story, structure and writing mechanics, along with what amounted to a line edit and running commentary throughout the manuscript. The results exceeded my expectations. Shannon Roberts was incredibly incisive in her notes, comprehensive in her critique, demonstrated she completely understood where I was going with the manuscript, and offered specific suggestions that were excellent (I incorporated about 80 percent of what she presented). On top of the quality of her work, the speed at which it was completed astounded me. I was quoted a five-week turnaround time, and received the full Manuscript Annotation and memo in just about two weeks. Even if the full time allotted had been taken, her work would still have been impressive. Jane Ryder, who assists TED president Ross Brown and coordinates client services, was an absolute delight to work with - and indeed, she spent a great deal of time actually working with me, to ensure I got connected with the right editor and most helpful level of service. She was genuinely interested in my manuscript and me as an author, and sought to understand what I needed. Our conversations were a true pleasure, and her help was outstanding. The price for all of this was not what one would call cheap, but was completely in line with what most comparable high-quality editing services cost (and far less than some). Given the results, I consider what I spent to be a bargain. I cannot more highly recommend The Editorial Department, and plan on using their services again as soon as I have need.

If there was ever an issue with anything, there was someone there to help get it get resolved (ie: payroll, questions, etc.). This was one of the best jobs I ever had. Enjoyed every day I worked. The first 6 months of the assignment, they would call to see how things were going at least once a month. They always made sure EVERYTHING was going well for me. This is probably the ONLY agency I would ever recommend working for in the Tucson area. While working for them, they offer some benefits. The medical benefit is a legit and good PPO (an HSA is also offered, if you want that option). They also have dental, vision, and life insurance available.

It sounded too good to be true so I was definitely skeptical. I contacted them to give them the benefit of the doubt. I met with one of their headhunters on a Wednesday, interviewed on Friday and started on Monday. Since then any questions I have are answered within the day, everyone is super attentive and nice. I've gotten a few check ins here and there to make sure everything is still going good. They seems to genuinely care from the beginning to placement and afterwards.
