Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

During that visit, they went through what I understood to be a routine physical exam. At the end, I was told I needed to come back for the physical, and that what they had just done only counted as a re-establishment of care. I returned for the second visit, expecting something different. Instead, they repeated the exact same steps. Nothing changed. Then, I was billed for both visits separately--one as a re-establishment of care, and one as a physical. In reality, it felt like the same appointment split in two for billing purposes. This practice appears to be more focused on maximizing insurance billing than providing transparent, patient-centered care. I asked for an explanation but received no clear justification, just vague responses. This experience felt deceptive and unfair. I will not be returning, and I recommend others ask very specific questions about how their appointments will be categorized and billed to avoid being taken advantage of.

The staff has not been able to submit the order for insurance purposes correctly even after the insurance company reached out to and to explain how they should be doing their job. My phone off spent hours on the phone with the insurance and Dr. Lin's staff. The staff has been rude and dismissive of her medical condition ever since she visited this office, but the disrespect and the attitude I witnessed when my wife called them to find out if the Ct scan order was submitted properly is just mind blowing. I don't have time to describe Dr. Kim's attitude and professionalism, but I have added a picture that my wife took in the waiting room last week. There is not need to describe what's on the picture.
