It was spring so technically off season, I'm sure they adapt some during summer. I made sure they were comfortable and experienced enough to treat my child. We were in and out fast. The nurse/tech seen before the doctor was efficient and kid friendly putting us both at ease. The doctor took a good look at her diagnosed, prescribed, and they informed me would forward the information to our Pediatrician. They took our regular insurance, the out of pocket expense was the same as a regular doctor visit copay. Definitely worth going for a non-emergency or if visiting the area too far from your regular doctor.

Dr said definite infection but he could only cut me open and see if anything there and if not, so be it. Fair enough. He gave me an anesthetic and immediately started cutting and surprised when I felt it and somewhat annoyed that I might need more. Spent literally 60 seconds looking around and said could find nothing and would call in an antibiotic and was out the door. He left me with his assistant who was much nicer and answered any questions I had. Three hours later and the antibiotic has still not been called in. What happened to just handing me a scrip on paper. Next time I go off island to Atlanticare. .

The office is practicing Covid-safety measures, having patients sign-in in the front vestibule and then wait in their cars until they are called back from the front desk staff. The staff did the standard check-in paperwork/questions with me over the phone, to limit the number of people in the office at one time. I appreciated that, both as a safety measure and because I dislike filling out the paperwork at any Dr.'s office. I was the 2nd person to sign in when they opened at 8:30. The wait time was short - maybe 10 minutes? The staff has excellent bedside manner. In fact, they were delightful. I believe 4 different people helped me - Dr. Bryan Barrett, and Becky and I think a Gina (or a Rita? Sorry!). The mood amongst the staff was upbeat. They seem to actually like each other and like working with each other. It turned out I had a fever too, and then all of a sudden I was shaking and sweating and my blood pressure dropped while I was in the chair. They had me lay down. A nurse took my blood sugar. Dr. Barrett and a nurse stayed with me until my blood pressure came back up. They did not rush me out or leave me in the room by myself. The Dr. and I talked about other health questions I had. He was just lovely and the staff is lovely too. I will be back...but hopefully not soon. :)

I was in the medical field for 50 years, as a medical assistant, as a surgical assistant and ultimately 25 years in Ultrasound. I have dealt with doctors & patients for 50 years and never encountered the behavior displayed to me, not just as a patient but as a person. I walked out. He walked in with an attitude and it got worse. I walked in with a bloodshot eye and slightly blurry vision, swollen upper cheek under my eye. He insisted my eye was fine and he said I didn't need an antibiotic. Whatever he said I needed I never heard of. He was speaking down to me and deliberately speaking over my head, his rudeness and unprofessionalism got louder and louder until he opened the door for me to leave!!!!! I said " don't worry, I'm out of here!" He actually opened the door for me to leave after he screamed at me all this nonsense of being not symptomatic. Some people should not be in the medical field. He was absolutely despicable.
