We would typically make the trip to Ontario Mills for our refill on our bucket, but were left with a less than spectacular service each time (if they were even open). So when we heard Doc Popcorn was coming to town we were excited! Our go-to flavors are a mix of Hoppin Jalapeño and Cheesy Cheddar. It's cheesy goodness with a hint of just enough spice. We went one day and took out refillable popcorn buckets from the other stand. Tamer waved us over once he saw our bucket and struck up a conversation. Unfortunately, they had run out of the hoppin jalapeño but offered us some other delicious options. He asked us to joy our numbers down and he would let us know once he restocked. He felt really bad and apologized that we had made our way over but assured us we would know when it was available. Fast forward a few weeks and boom incoming text read that it was available. Sent him a quick thank you text and went to fill up that day. He instantly knew who we were, what I had texted him and what our favorite mix was. If this doesn't say "exceptional customer service" I don't know what will. So every now and again when we feel like having a treat, we simply send a quick text and he knows when to expect us. We love this popcorn so much that we wanted to have some available for our guests to snack on at an event this past weekend. Tamer gave us some amazing advice for how much we would need for the amount of guests we were having with an out of this world price! Our guests were raving about the popcorn and as we were cleaning up, we had some left over and found ourselves being stopped from one end of the room to the other as we were attempting to put the left overs away for later. We had our wedding last month and decided to do something a little different for dessert--Dippin' Dots. Instead of ordering online, we worked with our local franchise, and Tamer was amazing from start to finish. From the beginning, he was fully invested in making everything perfect--helping us plan quantities, walking us through dry ice and storage, and even suggesting things we hadn't thought of. When I was worried our cooler wouldn't fit everything, he had me come by and personally helped pack it to make sure it worked. He even coordinated with corporate to ensure everything arrived on time. On the wedding day, the handoff was smooth and stress-free. He followed up during and after to make sure everything went perfectly. We even had leftovers, and without hesitation, he let us store them at his shop until our next party--something you rarely see from a business owner. Tamer truly goes above and beyond, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. You don't even need a big event to support him--stop by for a cup of Dippin' Dots or try the Doc Popcorn. This review is a week overdue but the sentiment remains the same. I was in desperate need of party favors for a baby shower that was held on Saturday. After a quick google search, Doc popcorn came up. I live in Los Angeles and google showed that there was a location in the fox hills (Westfield Culver City) mall. I called 10 minutes before they closed on the Thursday before the event to confirm if I'd be able to pick up such a large order that next day, Friday. I ended up leaving a voicemail and Tamer "T" called back right away. Right off the bat I was met with great energy and I knew he had amazing customer service. I told him what I was looking for and he sent a detailed text message of my options. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick up since they are now only located in West Covina, but he confirmed he would be able to deliver. On Friday night he called to confirm that he was on his way & met me at my location with the goods! When I tell you I've been obsessed with this popcorn since! I ordered a bulk size (Denver flavor) that fed about 40 ish people in small brown party favor bags. There were also some leftover popcorn which was awesome. I ordered popcorn from here for my baby shower to use as party favors. It was really easy to do. I just sent an email with my request and I got a response so fast. I ordered only four days ahead of the event. Pickup was very easy. It's inside the mall. I filled up the party favors myself. For anyone that is going to attempt this, let me just tell you that a 6"x 12" cone shaped cellophane treat bag (I got it at Michael's) does not fit a lot of popcorn HAHA I only had 40 cones to fill up, but I ordered two batches of popcorn. I actually only needed one batch and would have had extras. I ended up buying more party favor bags (bigger rectangular ones at Target) to fill in the rest of the popcorn. In terms of flavor, I only tried the Better Butter, Cheesy Cheddar, and Flamin' Cheesy. Of those three, I think the Better Butter was the best. The Cheesy Cheddar was like a powdery kind of cheesy so it made me not want to eat too much. The Flamin' Cheesy was okay. The powder can get caught in your throat so watch out! Spiciness level is decent. Crisp of popcorn was good. Just remember you can't get popcorn too early for your event because popcorn can go stale! read more

Thinking three large bags would be enough for 100 guests (1 large bag = 20 people; 3 large bags for 60 people), we overestimated the amount of popcorn people would eat/take at the party. NOT A PROBLEM. We ended up eating the leftovers (still was fresh after a week) and taking some to work to share with colleagues. Everyone agreed the flavor and the freshness of the popcorn was great. If you're thinking of popcorn for a party, do yourself a favor, check out Doc Popcorn (they have lots of delicious flavors). Tamer was very knowledgeable, helpful and has we wonderful customer service. My advice: Prep yourself for a night of packing small bags use a funnel or a scooper (trust the process, the end product will be worth it). The closer you get your popcorn to the day of your party, the more delicious your popcorn will be.
