As someone who likes pumpkin pie, I don't really like the pumpkin pie flavor, but it does taste a bit like it. The cheesecake doesn't taste like cheesecake at all and it was super soft, not frozen. Laufey's strawberry (Laufberry) was just ok. It was a bit softer too. Laufey's rich chocolate was my fav!! Super creamy and rich! I love the new JVKE cups and the black treble clef spoon! They weigh and you pay. There's a tip option on credit card payments because this is America but the employee does nothing. There are rotating flavors. Froyo is good. Wanted quick dessert so decided to hit Yogurtland. It was clean employees were friendly and the fruits and candy bar was fully stocked. They had my all time favorite flavor Ube along with other featured flavors such as Thai tea. They have sample cups so if you're unsure of what flavor is for you try a sample. You pay by the weight, so basically the heavier the cup is the more you'll pay. For 2 cups I paid about $14.00+ change however at the end it asks for a tip.. I don't mind giving a tip but if I'm not being tended to I personally feel I shouldn't have to but you feel the pressure of the cashier just staring at you thinking are you tipping? I usually do anyways some are people trying to earn extra or just pay their bills. read more

I often take my kids here for their treats. Me myself, not really a big fan of yogurt. Most often than not, the trips' experiences mostly just so-so. Sometimes we encountered staff that was helpful and friendly, and some other times we were not so lucky. During this pandemic, they gave ONE glove and one cup for each customer. I still don't understand why only one glove when normally people are using both of their hands to touch anything and everything? Three times that we came here after the pandemic occurs, it was only one staff getting customers their choice of toppings, ringing them up, and passing the glove and cup for the walk ins. There were no clear signs where to stand to wait for the glove and cup. Today when we went there, I noticed a new signs 25% for police/fire/vets/ems. Sometimes, signs like this so puzzling in my head. How about nurses? I would assume this sign is for frontline workers? Lol. Anyway, I did ask to the only staff there, he replied "we never give it to nurses." Okay... even if I won't get the appreciation, dont be snarky about it. Then he gave my kids gloves and cups. And when we supposed to get the toppings, the staff wasn't there anymore! So we were waiting for a good couple minutes, before another young staff came out. Not all franchises are made to be the same. This is what I have to say about this Yogurtland location. There's plenty of parking and the establishment is spacious enough. We got the Reese's peanut butter mixed with the original frozen yogurt. The consistency was a bit icier and softer than what I've had at other locations. The real kicker is the huge difference in the freshness and quality of the toppings. The brownie bits were very hard (not even chewy texture like regular brownies) just straight up hard and not very sweet at all. The Nutter Butter cookie also tasted like it's been out for awhile. This really took away from the fro-yo. You also have to ask the front for extra spoons (there were two of us there and instead of offering two, we had to wait until the workers were finished with their conversations to ask) and napkins. This is my first poor review for a place. I'm the type of "yelper" that only talks about great customer service but today I dealt with POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a platinum member rewards card holder for yogurtland (which says a lot) I am obsessed with yogurtland and my family and friends know that. I received an E-Gift Card which is a yogurtland gift card sent to me from my friend online. I used it at the Fullerton location with no problems. At this location though they wouldn't accept my YOGURTLAND E GIFT CARD because they don't "punch in numbers at checkout" at this location. I looked at my print out to see if it said anything about "not at the West Covina-Amar" location. It's a YOGURTLAND gift card!!! How can it be that you don't accept it??? He didn't even try to ask any of his co workers or his manager he just simply said. "Not at this YOGURTLAND." Wait what? They lost my business. I had a funny experience going in to the Yogurtland today. I got my yogurt and went to the cash register. The young man said it is $7.50. I gave him my telephone number, which brought it down to $2.50 because I had a $5 reward. I asked him is this the only store that doesn't ask for your telephone number to get the reward? He said, "I should have, but I was in a rush." I slowly turned around and looked around the whole store, and to my surprise, I was the only one in there. I had to ask him, "Why was he rushing, and I'm the only one? He said because they close later tonight. But it was only 2:45 pm. I had to share this with my friends and just laugh. read more

Walked in and immediately felt heat and a strong, stuffy smell. We grabbed our cups anyway as my daughter has been asking for frozen yogurt for months and finally earned the treat. She got her favorite, French Vanilla and it came out halfway melted... so we tried again- same. So I asked the barista about it and mentioned how hot the room was and she just shrugged her shoulders? Okay so we got in line and by the time she was done filling up, her entire yogurt was melted. I showed the barista and she asked us to get another flavor so I did. Same thing. We decided to just check out and apologized to my daughter for the bad experience. We checked out and I presented my rewards for a free 3oz and she said I couldn't claim it as it wasn't showing up in the computer system so I showed her my account on my phone and she shrugged again. So I said "well our yogurt is pretty much melted anyway and you can't even honor the earned 3 oz?" She said no so I waited in line and she finally said she could do it because the line behind me was getting longer. Awful customer service. Temperature not kept at the necessary temperature. I'll let you know now of a couple of factors that have changed my view on Yogurtland: I am a PinkBerry (Plain) kind of girl & I worked at FroyoLife for a couple of years. That being said, I wouldn't say I am an expert or anything in frozen yogurt BUT I can certainly tell the difference in great tasting froyo and eh tasting froyo. Don't get me wrong I enjoy Yogurtland's plain flavor just fine but a lot of their other flavors taste too artificial and often too sweet. I used to go to Yogurtland often a few years ago before my employment at FroyoLife and definitely before my breakup with artificial flavoring and excess sweets. But mostly, I went to Yogurtland for their collaboration spoons with Sanrio. I collect those cute little buggers. That is the #1 thing they are doing right: their continous collaborations with major brands and well, games now too (currently Candy Crush Soda). This location is brand new and a lot bigger than the ones I've been to. I like that there's actually room in between the tables, lol! The customer service is good and the manager (?) is friendly. One thing though that I feel I should mention is that they do charge a "dine-in" tax. Meaning that if you plan to stay and eat, there's a tax. If you take to go, no tax. Pretty simple right? The only thing is, if you plan to eat it right away but not necessarily in their establishment, well, I guess it's still considered dining in. No worries, it's only 9%.. read more

I keep forgetting that theres a location on this side of town now. I usually go to the one by the WC mall but this location is so close to my boyfriend's house. I came here 2 days in a row. This yogurtland addiction is kicking in AGAIN and its not going to be pretty lol. I love the cheesecake flavor & the plain flavor. Its all I ever get. Then everything else is toppings. Im a sucker for those toppings. I always try to not over-do it but then I'm like "ohhh this. ohhhh that. ohhhh that too" & before you know it - its 80% toppings 20 % yogurt. Staff was really nice.
