Also there are many toys and plushies that look very ragged and unsanitary. I wouldn't let my kids play with them if they needed a cut. I think it's gross to have stuffy toys scattered on the floor where people's hair is being cut. Hair grease, oil and little hair debris gets all over them. Also when I was getting a cut, the person/barber left her station with a room full of people waiting to get a cut and they they didn't even sweep after each cut. The hair build up was rediculous. As for my cut....not great. I could do better with my electric razor. My hair looked like it got cut for free at a hair cutting school. Granted it was only $25. The thing that really grinds my gears is that I asked for a light beard trim and the guy takes an electric razor with a #4 guide and just removes my beard. My majestic beard will take months to grow back. These people are cheap, if you have kids that don't care what they look like. I will not go back.

Worst experience at a barber I've ever had. I've been here twice…read more First time, he barely cut my hair - just kind of poked at it more than anything. I thought maybe it was a language barrier. Second time I took a picture of a simple businessman's haircut. He couldn't do it. I asked him to cut it shorter - he still barely touched it - then kicked me out of the seat before asking what I thought a second time. In the end looked nothing like what I showed him. Asked me lots of questions about my job during the haircut then charged me a premium rate - $20 - maybe he thought I could afford it. The other barbershop down the block charges $16 and does a better job. It is hard for me to provide feedback during the haircut because I don't see very well without my glasses. But, if I show him a picture should I have to call it out real-time? I will not go back.

The kicker for us was that my son's appointment was at 1pm on a "school day," and his barber asked him if he was homeschooled! (Usually we get, "why aren't you in school today?")
