Dockmasters have done an excellent job for us over a number of years. They sold us a new floating dock with a jet ski pad which has worked great! Both Josh and Gary have been very dependable and good to work with. They are quick to respond and always get the job done when promised. read more

I've been using Dockmaster for several years to install and remove my dock and boat lift. I agree with some of the other reviewers comments regarding Gary's unprofessional and rude customer service, but I overlooked it so I could continue using the same company each year. However, last fall when they removed my dock and lift, they removed my solar panel on my lift without telling me, they scattered my dock hardware across my lawn (never did find some pieces) and they failed to lower the legs on my dock for storage. I called Josh (Gary's helper) to report the issues and get resolution - he explained that they are now automatically storing peoples solar panels (for a fee), and they would take care of the other issues by sending a guy out. They sent a guy out to bring my solar panel back, but he also broke a hose clamp in the process..... none of the other issues were addressed. This spring, I call to have them install the boat lift and they tell me they won't be providing me with service any longer and I'd need to find another provider. This company makes me feel like I am being punished for expecting basic customer service and to do a complete job. Absolutely shameful! I do not recommend getting service from this place and am also disappointed in their rude and unprofessional customer service. read more

We purchased a dock from Dock Masters a couple of years ago and since then have had them install the dock in the spring and remove it in the fall. The guys doing the installation and removal have done a very nice job! This year we called in early March to have the dock installed in April and then called back to delay it based on information from the drain commissioner concerning lake levels. Once we learned not much was coming from the drain commissioner, we called again, in early April, to get on the installation schedule and were told we were added and the dock would be installed by the end of April...sounded great! Yesterday, April 28, 2022, we called again to check on the status as the end of the month is near and the dock is not in. We were informed by Josh that since we had cancelled earlier we were not on the schedule. He further informed us that four of his crew had called in sick today and that the crew had already been to the 'DAM' lake sometime ago and would not be going back anytime soon, for efficiency sake. We were not allowed to schedule installation and were told they would get to it at some point in the future and would call a couple of days ahead of time. This guy was a total jerk to my wife and probably did not realize I too was on the phone. His customer service, as others have said, STINKS! He could have easily said, "There was a snafu with scheduling, looks like you didn't make the schedule, sorry, but we will put you on for a later date." Instead, he acted like he could care less about us or whether we ever did any business with them. My wife asked me this morning if I thought Josh would call and apologize and I said it was highly unlikely. Looks like I was correct, not a word...doesn't seem to care. The only reason I am giving them two stars instead of one star is because the installation crew has done a good job for us and deserves some credit. read more

So I googled boat repair and this business name came up. I've lived in Richland for 42 years and didn't know if they actually repaired boats or just did dock services. My boat recently broke down and thought since I have purchased dock parts from them I would call to find out. So I call and this was the conversation Me- "Hi do you offer boat repair" Gary- "uh no we sell docks and service hence the name Dockmaster" Me "oh well I googled boat repair and your name came up and..." He hung upon me So I called back to speak to the owner and apparently Gary is. Let's just say he should hire a customer care person with a better personality who isn't rude. It probably would be beneficial for his business. read more

The owner Gary Levine provides the absolute worst customer service. If anything goes wrong after the sale, he will most likely offer a $500+ repair and if you don't like it, he'll simply hang up on you... buyer beware! read more

Bought 2 lifts from them, I thought they were a good company until I went in to have something repaired. Worst customer service I've ever had. Just wanted a new pulley and winch, he want the sell me a whole new lift. Was not interested in helping me. He actually told me to go to Granger, "they carry all kinds of parts."
