I was told I would have access to psychiatrists, doctors, psychologist, counselling and other then seeing my very vanilla counsellor Taylor once, that was the extent of it. Most of her responses started with "I understand how you are Feeling" but.....this is how we do it here. I was told verbally by a fellow named Matthew that I could bring my emotional support animal (a 13 year old very sleepy pug). The head of oncology at the cross Cancer wrote me a letter stating this is something I need. I spoke on the phone to a lady named Barbie who later told this is not something they offer. I choose to go anyhow, but became very lonely and asked the director Joel and Liam. I received a completely response lacking any empathy. So with all the false information stated above and coupled with not being allowed my ESA I choose to check out. They had the audacity to suggest they would be Charging me a $3500 walk out fee . That has yet to be charged, but believe me, if this issue is not dropped immediately my lawyer will certainly be involved. They out almost percent of the process in connecting with peers and putting my recovery of other members. The other patients I applaude over and over. They for the most part were so kind, caring, supportive and loving. If the expectation is for them to "fix" me, then they most certainly should be getting a big chunk of my 43,000 I would say from the people I spoke to had the program funded through govt or work. On top of that, some were also paid weekly to Be there. Some of these patients talked openly and quite boisterously about how they would be using the second they get out. It Is well known there is an unmonitored area outside where patients were having sex. I witnessed multiple loud verbal fights amongst patients which made me feel scared. I sat around the puzzle area two nights ago where two patients laughed/joked and explained to each other how to make crack "one referred to himself as chef boyerdee". I was there for alcohol treatment, childhood abandonment and sexual abuse. So thankfully none of this conversation triggered me. I assume it would be tremendously triggering for an addict. All in all, I felt unsafe here, did not get the help that was promoted to me and have checked out. The last thing I will say, is my intake person Jane, was dressed in tight black clothing, nails that could peel the earths surface and was extremely unprofessional. After hearing a call on speaker phone she used the phrase "oh my god, I love him. You are so lucky, what an amazing guy. Showed her a picture and commented on how good looking he is, and then disclosed she is a sex addict. Please please please do yours research on alternate places. Despite trusting the program to help my son, the support wasn't there -- no returned calls or follow-up from executives, and no real accountability. I know of several others who left the program and tragically didn't make it, and my own son continues to struggle. I have been able to voice my concerns and have spoken with staff, nurses and doctors alike and everyone is friendly and supportive. The residents were the most uplifted in Spirit that I've ever seen at a convalescent, rehab, or nursing center. All the care staff (save one) I felt to be thoughtful, caring, respectful, and professional. They have activities for the residents that keep them engaged and lively, there's things going on, there's LIFE going on. Highland is clean, respectful, peaceful and I recommend this skilled nursing center without hesitate as often as I have the opportunity whether private pay, Medicare or Medicaid. I am very happy I got in to see her. my knees feel better. she did not recommend surgery at this time. apparently you cannot book in the future when you are doing pretty well today . thank you Dr. Mathis for giving me so much of your time today I felt good about seeing you . Im right handed and my shoulder was keeping me from being able to do much. He said i didn't say that and left the room. ( I did get surgery but needed to go to the mainland) Then recently I saw Dr DuPreez who put a bunch of incorrect information on his report, stating I said the opposite of what i told him. I called to cancel and left a…read morevoicemail and then 2 minutes later and called me back saying I'll be charged 1/2 price due to not been able to replace my spot and short notice. So I said "I'll try to come because I do not want to be charged for nothing". I show up and waited for 12 minutes and notified by front desk that they recieved my voicemail last night cancelling my appointment. This only means voicemails are pointless while in fact they've called me 2 mins later last night. Voicemail should have been deleted. So in short they've cancelled me, so shall we apply cancellation fee as well as a client? I get it when a short notice cancellation fee will be applied. But their communication shows how they recieved voicemails should have been reviewed and deleted so others will not be getting informations that was already dealth with. Getting ready and showing up early expecting to have your appointment ready as well. There's no excuse of that effort showing up to your appointment but a disappointment! I suggest a clearer transfer of communication be more observable than being more concern on short notice cancellation policy.

Unfortunately, my experience hasn't need any different than the other reviewers. At consultation I was asked if I had any food allergies, likes/dislikes etc. And I was told this information was going to be used to prepare a custom diet plan for me. When I received the plan, I saw food items on there that I had specified I did not eat. So I tweaked the recipes myself. My biggest disappointment was that there was no follow up, during or after the diet. I felt like I had given $500+ for a few recipes I could have easily downloaded off Pinterest. I would not recommend them to anyone.
