I had my two front windows tinted here at 35% which is MD state law. The display in their lobby was labeled "legal". I said I want it legal. Even my receipt said 35%. This means it should test at 35%. They are supposed to account for the tint in the factory windows. When I got my car inspected my tint was 31%. This caused my car to fail inspection. So I went back and all they would do is take it off. They would not replace their product with the correct tint and fix their mistake. Now I have to pay again to have my windows tinted correctly. This is simply my honest experience. I do not recommend. They respond to all complaints in a very defensive and condescending manner. They aim to discredit the customer when they have made a mistake. They have a history of not being honorable when anyone complains. Response- Why on earth would I make this up or lie? I never said you were being deceitful. You guys simply made a mistake which you are unable to admit to. You jump to a defensive posture and make false allegations against me. You resort to insults. At no point was I insulting towards you, but you can't help but react emotionally. Being in business for 28 years does not make you immune to mistakes. I'm not going to call you as you suggested. You had an opportunity to do the right thing but chose not to. So now I'm going to share my honest experience which is my right as a consumer. read more

This shop has handled tinting and ceramic coating, and detailing on multiple vehicles of mine over the last several years. They do exceptional work, on-time, with a smile, and at a reasonable price. If you get on their email list, they even send periodic discounts, and THEY HONOR THESE. You can set up your appointment online and they finalize the appointment or concerns by text. Easy. As if that was not enough, the business goes out of its way to connect and help. On a recent visit, they saw that I had a ding in my driver door from an inconsiderate motorist who parked next to me. They were able to make the paint from the offender disappear, and to recommend another provider to fix the dent if I wanted to. Finally, they consistently do a good job, not just a good job for first-time customers. If every business were run like this one, the world would be a better place. I had ceramic and tint done. After a few weeks, moonroof had some bubbles and I noticed the ceramic had leftover residue (initially not obvious). They took care of it with no problem or complaint. Don't take the less than perfect initial work as a negative, stuff happens. Their responsiveness and willingness to fix my concerns will keep me coming back and referring friends. Not much to say. I paid $140.00 for 2 windows and got lots of dirt under the film. I was told they for air bubbles as if I were stupid also, they tinted my vehicle in 40 minutes. So in this case if I were you guys I might want to take better cleaning precautions. Also let me mention that it's a detail shop and in shop together. Like I said got to keep that dirt out fellas. So maybe think of separating them I know it's ingenious bottom line I'm not happy tons of other tinting shops please pick another, Also, the owner just responded and too little too late and yes I obviously masked my name because I don't want you calling me and trying to apologize. Do the job correctly the first time. I came 2 weekends ago. It doesn't matter when I came in I laughed because I saw a detail employee that was there when you were downtown. Called in and was able to get a same day appointment for ceramic tinted windows. I have a Tesla, so the windows are very large, frameless and they go down when the door opens. With all that complexity in mind, these guys executed the job and they executed it well. Windows look perfect, no bubbles, or blemishes. They have a small waiting area which was nice and clean. The service took less than an hour. And I'm new to the area, so the representative there was able to inform me of how the local cops are with enforcing tint laws. I would definitely recommend this spot, and I plan to go back for more services such as detailing and ceramic coating. read more

Wow, The service was great! Kyle tinted my front windows to match the rear on my newly purchased 2025 GMC. The truck looks great! I was able to watch Kyle and Jimmy tint another customers car before they did mine. It was kinda fun to watch. Those 2 guys working together like a well oiled machine. Not a lot of words when one knows exactly what the other is going to say. My GMC is not the first vehicle tinted by Doctor Tint, and probably won't be my last. Went to Doctor Tint on Grove Road 2 days after getting my 22 Tesla Model 3. Got the full ceramic tint and front PPF. Kyle did a fabulous job and was very miticulas. The car was kept over night to cure. I couldn't be happier with the results. I didn't want to go to dark so I opted for 30%. Yea, it's expensive but it's a lot of glass to cover including the full roof and windshield I definitely wanted the pait protection on the front. The PPF is very hard to tell its even there unless you look/feel very closely. I guess thats the point. Jimmy was great at keeping updated on the progress and explaining the billing and warranty. Would not hesitate to go back on the next car. I absolutey love the way it turned out and you guys knocked it out of the park. Thank You again. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I recently got my first detail ever through them. It was lack luster to say the least. The entire lower half does not seem to be ceramic coated. Two days later both of my side cameras in my Tesla went out. I did not want to jump to conclusions, so I waited until the Tesla technician came to see what was wrong. He stated that the cameras had water in them which caused them to stop working. After reaching out to the detail company they stated that "they treat their cars like their own", but was no help in rectifying the $185 out of pocket repair. I would think twice about getting your car detailed from this place unless you have money to fork over for unexpected repairs. read more

Took my civic hatchback here for all 4 windows and rear glass tint. To tint the rear glass, I paid additional labor for the rear spoiler to be removed. I am satisfied with the quality of the tint and had no issues for a few weeks until I noticed my hatch had a rattle when opening and closing. On a closer look, none of the hatch trim was correctly lined up either. I removed the rear trim recently for another project and found SIX of the 14 trim clips completely destroyed, leaving plastic just rattling in my trunk. No one else has done any interior work to the vehicle. I did not reach out to try and get this issue resolved because I honestly did not want their technicians to do any further interior work to my vehicle. Nor did I want to deal with the back and forth. A fairly simple fix for me, just replacing the clips. But should have never had to deal with this in the first place. I wouldn't recommend their tinting services. read more

I brought in my 2017 MAZDA 6 for window tinting. The tinting looked good, but when I got home I noticed the panel next to my rear window was melted. I went back and they admitted that their heating gun melted the panel and said the manager would order a new part and install it. They measured and took photos and said they would call me when it came in. After several weeks I stopped by and was told they ordered the wrong part. This process of me calling, stopping by, and being told some BS line continued over or the next 6 months. I made several calls and stopped by on 4 separate occasions. They would always assure me that they'll let the manager know, take a picture, take my phone number and take care of it. Over a year now and still NOTHING. Don't take your car here! read more

Bad service !!! I purchased an interior detail before selling a car because I didn't want the dealer deducting money because of dirt or stains. They carpet and seats looked 10% better when I picked it up after 8 hours. They said they could not get the stains out !! I went to the store and bought a $4.00 can of "spot shot" carpet cleaner and took 1 hour to clean the remaining 90%. I called the manager and he said they use a "citrus" based cleaner and hot extraction and can't use the chemical based cleaners. If you want your car smelling like lemons but still dirty use Dr. Tint but if you have any dirt or stains save yourself $110.00 and do it yourself. I asked for a 20.00 refund and he said they don't give refunds but would give me a discount on future service. I declined. If you didn't do a good job on the car I'm trading in, why would I trust you with a car that I am keeping. read more

I went to this tint shop because they did an excellent job 3 yrs ago on another car of mine.Turns out they're under new management! I got the top of the line "CXP" film and cost me $370 (with discounts!) . There was bubbling everywhere! The tint on the front windshield was completely uneven too. When I mentioned it to management, they started with trying to charge me to get the front windshield tint removed. After talking to the owner and the actual tinter,they agreed to correct it. I just got it back and it's still not satisfactory..bubbles on ALL windows. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money and go to a cheaper shop that has good reviews! read more

Called and scheduled an interior detail for our F-150. The truck was filled with dog hair. I didn't know what to expect because I've never had a vehicle detailed before. Told them when we dropped it off we knew there was an excessive amount of dog hair and if they needed to charge extra we understood. They told us, "We don't charge extra...we'll take care of it." We paid ahead of time because we couldn't be there before closing. They left the vehicle out front and locked it up for us. I was amazed! It looked and smelled like a brand new truck. I still found a bunch of stray dog hairs but if you saw what they got rid of you would be amazed. Went on their website and used a $20 off coupon good on a Monday so we only paid $90 for everything. Overpriced and bad service. Went for tints and to get my stereo installed. Long story short. I had to go back THREE times to get both the windows and stereo fixed. Stereo still has a buzz sound even when no music is playing. Go somewhere else and spare yourself the extra time and money. read more
