Should be said, I'm not going to them expecting a kinkos - rather I've used them for medium run print design (booklets, brochures, etc... in quantities between 75 and 300 pieces). Used their website to submit my documents online to get several files of 8-10 pages each printed double sided in color. The website couldn't offer me a quote, and honestly was pretty difficult to use in the first place. When I showed up to pick up the printed documents, after a little bit of confusion with the staff, the total rang up to almost $40. Guess it's my fault for not investigating their website more heavily, though the automated system couldn't offer me any sort of estimate on how much the project would cost. At those prices, I'll just buy my own printer, ink, and paper. read more

This was the most unbelievable experience I have ever had requesting a quote on a job! When I called them to ask if they were able to drill press holes into a ream of print, and explained that I this time had merely a single ream of 430 ready printed pages and only needed binder holes drilled into it, the lady on the phone said "Yes, we can. You can bring in your project and have the technician take a look at it." I asked if she could please quote me a price for drilling those three holes into that stack of papers, before I came all the way to them, she disappeared for over 5 minutes from the phone, to then ask me: "So you want only holes drilled? - Into a stack of about 430 pages? - Letter size?" I said "Yes, exactly." She said: "That's $25." Shocked to utter disbelieve and somewhat breathless I asked, if she really meant that for drilling THREE holes each of which takes less than 2 seconds to do, they wanted to charge $25. - She said: "Yes, that's right. That's what it costs." Lord, am I glad that I asked for a quote and did NOT waste more time with their business! (P.S. My family runs an over 150 year old blue-printing, copy, printing business in Germany, working with multi-million Euro projects, and it would have NEVER in a lifetime occurred to anyone, up to the general manager, to charge a walk in a cent for drilling 3 holes.) Docuprint has hands down the poorest understanding of both reasonable pricing as well as customer loyalty care I have EVER encountered! The woman that works at the front counter-can't remember her name- has always taken her time with me and been extremely helpful. And the prices are always great.
