I have worked with FedEx over many years and they are an amazing company. Sometimes amazing companies make poor employee choice. The manager at this location is rude, condescending and disrespectful. clearly no understanding of the word customer service. He would not release my package after numerous visits, despite calling FedEx getting a case number and updated receivers name. He arrived with the proper ID, yet still this guy would not release the package. Small man on a power trip. Cost me $ 300.00 in wasted overnight shipping fees, and will now cost FedEx money too, to ship it back to the sender at their expense. Bad business all around. read more

Horrible. I sent some passport to be print here and already paid for it. When I went to pick it up as indicated on the receipt, the employee said my printout/picures were not there. Okay. That was important and urgent. Talking about liability. Even more pathetic is the fact that I couldn't get a refund. The dumb employee wanted me to come back later for that refund. A few days ago I was in a hurry on the way to an interview and needed to print my resume. I know, I shouldn't have waited until the morning before. But I did. I am very disappointed and unhappy with the service i received from the FEDEX branch on Whitney avenue. I went into this FEDEX branch to send a time sensitive document. Without seeking my consent or asking me for my preferences, the man at the counter processed my package choosing the slowest mail delivery service possible ( 3rd business day and he also checked the box that said i did not need delivery confirmation even though of all the packages i have ever sent this was the one time i really needed delivery confirmation). I was in such a rush ( and some sort of flurry) that morning that i relied too much on his sense of professionalism - a false reliance that i later on regretted on getting home and seeing the assumptions he had made about my package delivery. The workers at the USPS counter never do that. They always ask the customer what mailing options they want without making any assumptions. I expected an equal if not higher sense of professionalism from FEDEX since I was paying a lot. Moral of the story- don't go to this branch or watch the person filling out your mail information like a hawk to ensure that you get the service you need. - customer deprived of her autonomy read more

if you need help shipping something, GO to a different location first time visit: after about 10 minutes in the store, someone came in and got in line behind me. She started screaming for someone to get out there. They disappear and don't ever check for visitors. I shipped a box to Canada for over $40 and now FedEx is charging the Canada business $27 because Joe, the young worker with the goatee and carelessness, completely messed up the transaction and FedEx won't help me resolve the issue. I called and they couldn't help, transferred me to International, couldn't help, then transferred me to billing. There has still been no resolution to this issue and I know its that stupid guy Joe is the one who screwed it up. second-time visit: I was ready to ship something when a huge lady behind me kept asking question after question. They ended up doing it all for her and helping her first, even though I had been waiting and complete with my paperwork. It wasn't until she left that I was FINALLY helped. There is simply no order or courtesy at this location. If you go in here, ask a lot of questions like she did and make them do it for you. Apparently it'll get you out the door faster. read more
