I told the person on the phone what I needed and why, I asked if they could be delivered by a certain time. She said absolutely. The flowers arrived an hour and a half before my requested time. I wish that I had the person's name that I spoke to, She was friendly, helpful and a joy to speak with. Use a local florist directly, stay away from the telef... or 1800 versions. If you need a hostess gift for a party or holiday, there are plenty of options at Cymbidium, ranging from artful seasonal bulb terrariums to tea, macarons, and homemade candles. They also always have lots of user-friendly houseplants to choose from. I've had really good luck with the plants I've bought, including some gorgeous orchids. It may sound corny, but I like knowing that I'm supporting a small business owned and operated by wonderful people, as small brick & mortars that help give a town character are becoming fewer and farther between.
