Today, I needed to find a florist that would send flowers to my wife to celebrate an accomplishment that I had just learned of. I went through a few florists that could not guarantee the delivery time that I needed. I called Flowers by Marianne's. I told the person on the phone what I needed and why, I asked if they could be delivered by a certain time. She said absolutely. The flowers arrived an hour and a half before my requested time. I wish that I had the person's name that I spoke to, She was friendly, helpful and a joy to speak with. Use a local florist directly, stay away from the telef... or 1800 versions. They are a shop used by Teleflora. I purchased flowers for my sisters 50th birthday. They were supposed to be deliveredSaturday 9/16. The delivery driver called and said her road was closed, it was not, and to call him in five minutes to meet him at an intersection to pick them up. They were finally delivered today and disappointed doesn't begin to describe the arrangement. I've bought nicer arrangements at the grocery store. I contacted Teleflora and received a discount code for my next order and a partial refund because of this substandard arrangement. Twice we have had issues with flowers by Marianne but Yesterdays debacle cause my family a lot of stress. I ordered flowers about one or two weeks ago to be picked up from my fathers mercy meal. My mom went to go pick the flowers up not only were they not done they didn't even have the order. Even though they found the order and deliver the flowers to the restaurant we had to go through the wake and funeral panicking that the flowers weren't going to be At the restaurant. I ordered my mom flowers and a balloon for her 75th Birthday! She didn't get what I ordered and never received her ballon at all. In spite of reading some poor reviews, I decided to order from Flowers By Marianne because it was the closest floral shop to where my friend lives. I figured the closer the delivery the fresher the flowers when they arrive...and I am so glad I did. My best friend in the whole world (since we were sophomores in High School) was retiring after over 35 years of dedicated service in a hospital lab. I requested a bouquet of flowers that would MAKE MY FRIEND SMILE the moment she saw them. I chose an arrangement from the website but gave Marianne's permission to substitute any flowers that may not be in stock. Not only did my friend call me the moment she received them, but she also send me a picture in a text to my phone. They were absolutely beautiful!!!!! And they were placed in a creative way utilizing clear tape and ribbons to secure the stems in the vase. Best of all, they remained fresh for almost 2 weeks! I could not be more pleased or more grateful with both the service and quality of flowers that were received. I would definitely use this flower shop again. As others have reported the delivery issues with this place are bonkers. Not only that, but after reaching out to Marianne for clarification on where our order was we were presented with the hysterical breakdown that was Marianne. Between her and the manager we were told " there are worst things in the world going on than your delivery issues " also " never call back here again". Hey Marianne, you want your business to continue and thrive? Hire a new manager who can get your business ( a flower DELIVERY company ) into shape. A small flower company with tons of competition has no place running with a 2.5 star score on yelp. And the worst part is it's all from things are would have been preventable for you. If a customer has a problem, just fix it. Might cost you $20 but but who cares? It cost a lot less than having a terrible reputation. Also, Marianne, get someone else to answer your phone, you clearly can't handle speaking appropriately to a customer who has a concern. Good luck. Honestly. Flowers by Marianne delivered flowers which were ordered by my sister. My sister had ordered bromeliads and they delivered another random tropical plant. I called and spoke with Marianne. She was incredibly rude and snippy with me. "Well, there is nothing we can do about that. There were no bromeliads available anywhere." When I asked why they could not just get in touch with my sister, they said she ordered from someone else and they had no information for her. Wow. Worst customer service story I've ever heard. My mother ordered flowers from this place for my wife for her birthday. Much like the other poor reviews read, this was a complete disaster. We were home most of the day when they supposedly attempted to deliver, yet they claimed they attempted to deliver. They "tried calling" the number my mom left for them to contact my wife for the delivery, but apparently the number was incorrect. What would make sense would be to contact the person who ordered the flowers to get the correct number (my mom), but they never considered doing this. They delivered the next day TO OUR NEIGHBORS (who literally just moved in).. after my mom called back to say she was so disappointed they weren't delivered. They said this was standard protocol.. to deliver a product someone paid for.. to another location. They then said my wife needed to go pick them up at the neighbor's house. My mom said she felt like that was a strange ask considering the point of sending someone flowers is like 99% the delivery. ON TIME. TO THE RIGHT PLACE. They even had the audacity to tell my mom that this would be a good opportunity for my wife to meet the new neighbors. Marianne got "so upset" that she needed to put my mom on hold. At which point the Manager picked up. She at one point told my mom that this was such a minor thing she really shouldn't get that upset over something like this. Are you kidding me? I've been in customer service of some kind for over 15 years and that is literally the LAST thing you ever say to a customer... particularly after you completely dropped the ball as a company. Long story short there are many options for florists all over the place, don't waste your time giving this place your business. Last year my daughter sent me flowers from this place flowers by Marianne for Mother's Day. The arrangement started to smell and mildew after a day. This year my daughter sent a plant arrangement in a basket from flowers by Marianne. First off the delivery person rang the garage door bell instead of coming to the front door. I guess it was too much of a walk for him. The arrangement of plants was beautiful but when I inspected them to see if they needed water to my surprise there was very little soil. The plants had been taken out of there pots the soil removed to make them fit In the basket and shoved in the basket. You can tell very little care was put into this arrangement. It was a rushed job. Needless to say I had to repot the plants they would not have survived in the basket. I have received arrangements like this in the past and never have I seen such a careless and sloppy job. Disappointing!!! What was ordered online was nothing close to what was delivered - in size or quality!! Instead of roses, daisies were added as a filler. Vase was supposed to be clear and arrived very late in day in a red one. The premium bouquet I ordered was supposed to say "Congrats" and instead came with a small bow which did not match the bouquet and the one stem of snapdragon was wilted and was tossed the next day. Florist must have thought I wouldn't see the finished product. Waste of money! I'd rate this florist a ZERO if I could! read more

unfortunately because my family uses FTD I received flowers from this company for the second time. I received them with brown all over the roses and the green was brown and crunchy, as well as some of them had already wilted. I have had them for two days and they have already died. I suggest you go directly through a company and not FTD to make sure you get quality flowers because its very clear they do not care about freshness of flowers read more

my fiancé ordered me valentines day flowers. They were a dozen white roses to be delivered before noon. the delivery came around 10 that was perfect but they were RED. so i sent them back and call the shop they said they would be sent over asap. 3 o'clock came by no delivery. i ended up driving to the shop to get my flowers and when i asked about being reimbursed for delivery they told me no. because they would have attempted another delivery and it was there fault.....after seeing how upset i was she decided to recommend me looking at there show room for my upcoming wedding which was not the time. We have used Marianne's for almost all our flower needs in the past 2 years. Over the last few months the quality has been very disappointing. On Mother's Day I received an arrangement that literally died the next day. I reached out to them and they made things right and sent a new one right away. My husband ordered another arrangement for My Birthday spent $70 and again 2 days later they are dead. I tried calling the flower shop to air my concerns and all I got was I can't stand complainers and the phone was slammed in my ear. I tried messaging the flower shop via Facebook this morning and no reply back. I know from my prior dealings they wanted me to speak with them privately which is what I wanted to do. It is never one's intention to humiliate one's business publicly, however, when the employees or managers humiliate someone and laugh, I feel their interests and intentions are solely to make a profit.
