We had our two dogs stay a week at Dog Days. It had been many years since we had boarded there, but we went back there knowing that it was now under new management From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Jessica and she was warm and friendly, and very good with the dogs. When my wife went to visit Dog Days before our trip, she also met Tristan and Matthew that were super helpful as well . We checked on the dog several times using the cameras and they seem to be having a good time. When we went to pick them up, Jessica was there and said they did great and Alexis had gaven them baths before we picked them up. The staff seemed to really like the dogs and actually had them greet us at the front office when we arrived (because they had just taken baths and they wanted to make sure they stayed clean). Our experience for the week that we were gone was very good and both dogs seemed great. read more

I am so happy we found dog days. My boy casper cannot wait to to go play with his fur and human friends. I work long hours so this helps me feel good that I'm not leaving him home alone all day. I do NOT recommend Dog Days! I want to start off by saying that I have never felt the need to ever write a review on yelp till today after going to Dogs Day. From the moment I called, to the time we walked in Kristin at the front was nothing but RUDE. I was helping my mom who is new to the area find a place to board her dog. Lexi (my mom's dog) is shy but only takes about 5 min to warm up to other dogs and is the sweetest dog in the world. Kristen sat with her for maybe 45 seconds and declared she wasn't a good for dogs day. To say we were in shock was an understatement! This is not coming from a place of hurt feelings- Lexi isn't even my dog! I was just baffled how the staff could be so rude! Anything to do with dogs should make you smile! My advice to the owners is find people to work for you that are kind, interact professionally with potential clients and seem like they actually want to be there. read more

I'm not a yelper and hate to do it but in this case I feel people need to know. I had my dog there for the day and when I picked him up I noticed a little red dot on the side of his head a didn't think much about it. When I got home and started petting his ear he started whimpering . I lifted the ear and noticed blood and deep bite marks . When I called they showed no accountability or remorse. Where to start. I wanted to take my mom by this place to check it out since I work right next door it would of been great to get him in somewhere that close. I wanted her to get a vibe since this will be my pups first daycare experience. Let's just say before even walking into this place a young girl walks out and says "we don't accept pits" my dog isn't a pit he's a beautiful Italian mastiff. I told her he's not a pit. I then asked her manager to come outside since he was speaking through her. He came out side and said "judging by his physical characteristics we won't accept him. " I said why would you not? He's great with other dogs and people. He's already been with a trainer and is a very well mannered pup. He didn't even want to spend time with him to even notice how great he was. Just judging by what? Wow. I didn't appreciate the disrespect they had for my dog and for my mother and myself.(especially during my first visit hearing that they board other mastiff dogs.)Don't bring your pup to a place where they judge them even before they get to know them. Shame on them. This is my beautiful dog. Just so everyone can see what a beautiful dog he is. I'll be spreading the work. Sorry you mess with my dog and you mess with my emotions!!!!! read more

The staff here are professional, kind, and truly love animals. We've been boarding our dogs here for years, and they're always excited to walk through the door. They don't just offer boarding, but also dog training. Karen runs the training program and she is also professional, sweet, and so great with dogs of all breeds and temperament. I know it can be nerve wracking dropping your fur baby off to go on vacation, but you can trust these guys! (I decided to finally get on and write this review after checking the webcam and seeing two of the staff just hanging out in the group dog room and loving on the dogs. True animal lovers!) read more

Two stars because my dog went there almost daily for 4 months ( she started at 12 weeks) The front desk worker, Nina and the trainers there are amazing! Today I get a call out of nowhere that my pup nipped a staff member and was told she is not allowed back per the owner. I spoke to another staff member and they told me that she seemed stressed and did not want to be in the play area and was probably very overstimulated, and they do not agree with the owner kicking her out over one incident. I would give this place a better review but here are some of my honest opinions- The play areas are very crowded- you can watch the dogs on cameras all day and the play rooms always seem to be packed. There were a few times I checked the camera and saw another dog chasing and humping my dog multiple times, and maybe no one was watching or supervising but no one did anything about it. I don't take my dog to any parks or anything and a few months ago she had kennel cough- this was the only place she could have picked it up. Also, the place is very dated and run down looking. When you walk in they take your dog back and they walk through this door and they always make sure to keep it closed and when someone walks in or out, they only crack the door and there is a strong odor. Some days my puppy would come home smelling not so good. There always seems to be new people working there so I'm not sure anyone really takes the time to develop relationships with the dogs and pet them or care for them while they are there. They kind of seem like they are just shuffled from the play room, to the private kennels to eat, then back to the play room. Again, the only good thing about this place is the excellent trainers and the awesome front desk person. The location and hours are convenient. Just crappy that after spending almost $1000 a month there for the past four months, and after them recognizing signs of stress and not telling me or being willing to work with us, the owner kicks her out with no warning. Also, the owner seems to not be there often because today when I walked my dog in he said "who is that" even though she's been there almost daily for 4 months and every other staff member knows us ‍ If you are spending this kind of money for your pet, you can probably find somewhere better read more

I had the best experience and so did my 5 month old puppy Fisher.. Had to go out of town for a family emergency and really was not comfortable leaving him anywhere.. The staff was friendly and professional from the moment we began this adventure.. We added a few training classes as growing puppy needs all the training they can get.. Plus we can peek on the Web cam and know he was having a good time with all the other dogs.. I highly recommend Dog Days ..... Keep in mind not all dogs nor there owners are the same.. I really appreciated the staff recommending a day visit to see if he would be a good fit with the other dogs.. This gave me piece of mind knowing there will not be any aggressive dogs.. Fisher had a great time and he is happy to be home.. I will be back and might just bring him in for a day to socialize with the other dogs.. Do NOT bring your dogs here. This facility is poorly run, very unsanitary and unprofessional in the means of conducting legitimate business. I bring my Golden Doodle's here all of the time, only to have them return home smelling like urine/feces which I KNOW for a fact they did not arrive like that. If I were to request a bath, the problem would be fixed but I should not have to expect this EVERY time I board for the day. I also view the cameras (as any concerned dog dad would) only to see a load of messes in the play areas never cleaned up!!!! How absurd!!! ALSO if you are boarding in a busy timeframe (Christmas, thanksgiving etc.) and do NOT reserve a slot early enough your dog will be sleeping in a metal cage KENNEL instead of a cubicle room with abundant space that the customer pays for. They are NOT upfront about this either. Be aware of dogs/puppies coming from adoptions/pounds as this can be very traumatizing for them being forced into a familiar yet uncomfortable environment. I will be taking my Doodle's elsewhere. read more

I do not recommend. My dog has been going to another daycare one to two days a week for over a year and plays with every dog there and has been to training. The 3 min evaluation at dog days was a joke. The girl never petted my dog who can be a bit anxious in new places but warms up in minutes. She brought a dog out to sniff my dog and and declared he failed and dog days would not take him. BEWARE these people have no idea how to relate to animals. read more

We've been taking our puppy Sawyer to Dog Days and we've been so happy with our experience. Sawyer is currently in puppy class, occasional day care for 1/2 days, and private lessons with Alexa and Maddison. The staff are all knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. Alexa was able to help come up with training techniques on conquering separation anxiety- and after four long weeks - Sawyers finally able to be home alone without any destruction or messes. I just got off the phone with a young lady from Dog Days who denied my dog Maddie a Pre-entry test. Maddie is a 12 year Weim who is aging as gracefully as she can but has been diagnosed with COPD and suffers from arthritis. She has been denied based on age and ailments rather than temperament! They wouldn't even meet her. So essentially they do not accommodate all. My heart hurts for her! read more

If you're really interested in making an informed decision for your beloved pet & that is what really matters, I would encourage you (strongly) to look elsewhere! Bad, really bad ( scary, actually ) experience with the owner, who because of a communication error (on his behalf) showed behaviour that was downright threatening. Perhaps a bad day; nonetheless to a loyal paying supporter of his business to the tune of thousands of dollars for many months..... all the while he either misunderstood the reality or didn't care; either way, he made me wonder how he treated my animal while the "webcam" was not on during any given bad day.... what is this person capable of? This experience was so bad, I had to notify the police because this man was in my face, was handling my vehicle when I repeatedly asked him to stop touching my property, all the while thinking my pet did not have his vaccinations, when somehow he missed the memo that my golden retriever had received them weeks before..... We have NEVER BEEN behind on our vaccinations. He was clearly (CLEARLY) out of line. If I could give negative stars, I'd be happy to do that! We bring our 1.5 year-old German Shepherd here to help her on leash with her fear anxiety and the training has been nothing short of tremendous. The trainer Alexa is an expert, she's incredibly knowledgeable, a great teacher and we can tel she really cares about the training of our pup. Our pup has made amazing strides and gotten so much better in only a few lessons. I can't recommend Dog Days enough. read more

As pet parents no place is ever good enough and I get it. What does it say about a place that when you pull into the parking lot your four-legged son cannot wait to get out of the car and go inside. What does it say when you pick your precious Chihuahua after boarding and they have washed his bed and blankets because at 14 he sometimes pees at night. It says that Dog Days has a caring and dedicated staff. I trust them with Tommy. I have been taking Tommy here five years and would highly recommend Dog Days for daycare and boarding. read more

I trust them with my precious puppies for the last 2.5 years probably 10 weeks. Unbelievable caring staff. Incredible care and an immaculate fun hotel for dogs where you can watch them on your computer to see how much fun they are having in the indoor and outdoor play areas. Prices are extremely fair and my dogs always come home healthy. They demand paperwork from their vet before they will let them in to protect everyone....great integrity read more

I love the option of being able to take Sophie here rather than leaving her at home alone, on days I'm going to be out most of the day. I also love being able to see her on the web cam, making sure she is ok. They also offer an overnight option which I will definitely use when needed. read more

Complete jerks! Wouldn't even give them one star! They obviously only want shi shi fu fu dogs. I just moved to FL from PA where we had a wonderful boarding place and my dogs loved it there and never had an issue. Dog Days was referred to me; I called and was told I had to bring them in for a test with other dogs...fine. So we get there and my lab and lab/retriever mix are tested separately. I watched while my mix wagged her tail the entire time and did not make a noise of the slightest aggression. She kept looking back for my lab her buddy. These two young, snobby women said she would be too stressed there and they can't board her. This dog lives with another dog and a cat and since we moved is now also living temporarily with two other dogs owned by my friends without any alterations. This place obviously does not want to take care of nice pets. Just full breeds that hop out of a Mercedes. Good riddance. My dogs are too good for you anyway! read more

Dog Days has a facility equipped with web cams so you can tune in and check on your four legged family member at any time. It's a bit pricey but nearby where I live. I use them for a play day and got a wonderful review from the people who cared for my two dogs. The second visit didn't go as well. The owner informed my friend, who pick up my dogs, that one of my dogs was not picking up on the "signals" from the other dogs and he had to be separated from the other dogs. I noticed earlier that day when I tuned in to check on the dogs I could only see one of my dogs and he seemed stressed. He was pacing around with is tail down, obviously looking for his brother, the owner wasn't picking up on my dogs "signals". The next day we went by with both dogs to find out exactly what the problem was and the owner repeated the same statement over and over with no detail or any type of elaboration on why he remove my 16 month old puppy from the other dogs. All he said was he was not picking up on the "signals" from the other dogs. They offer training and when I asked if the trainer could work with my dog he replied quickly with a big "No" my dog was just not welcome at Dog Days. Leaving feeling very upset about my sweet puppy that everybody loves we headed to the local dog park. Talking to some other dog owners this message has been told to other owners and their pets too were not welcome to come back to Dog Days. Some people ask me if my dog has Pit Bull in him and I reply not to my knowledge - they are mutts and the vet thinks they have Jack Russel and Whippet in them and they look nothing alike yet they are litter mates and have never been separated from each other until the Dog Days incident. It dawn on me that it might be possible that at Dog Days somebody tuned in (one of the regulars who has a pure breed dog) and saw my puppy thinking he was a Pitt Bull and complained. Today I sent my puppies to Village Animal Clinic day care (I work 14 hours on Wed.) They both got gold stars! My two puppies were sweet, playful and gently with all the dogs and the people who cared for them. There was no problem or any mention of "signals". They are welcome to come anytime. If you have a mutt DON'T USE THIS PLACE! Go to a happy place! And btw Pitt Bulls are not mean animals its how the owners treat them and train them, owners make them mean!
