They continue to do an amazing job and are efficient. Decent/average pricing too at $45 for her full groom. I drop her off first thing in the mornings around 730 and she's usually ready by 930-11 depending on the # of grooming appts they have. They always are super friendly and helpful and extremely appreciative of gratuity for the groomer. However they book up fast!! So I highly recommend you book 2-3 appts out at a time. I would say that's the only downside if you forget - I've had to wait almost 3 months for Zoe to be seen and her hair grows fast so ideally she needs a cut every 4-6 weeks. Ideal location right on the outskirts of downtown going down smith/battleground split. I've never boarded my dog there but have heard good things and the pups running around seem to love it.

The rest of the staff there is wonderful but in my opinion the business needs new owners or needs to reevaluate how to properly run a business.

I looked at the owner's website www.camp-ruff.com which describes their facility as a "lux camp" for dogs and puppies. I was intrigued and called for an appt to view the property and see the operations. I was met by the Camp Director/Owner, a delightful, sincere woman named Lucinda. She greeted me and my dog and proceeded to show me the camp home, which is divided into sections based on the needs and behaviors of the various dogs she was boarding. She listened to my description of my dogs needs, habits and observed her to judge how she would behave w other dogs. One by one she let a dog out from the house, where they have their "sleep over", cautiously to see what my dog would do. As the animals were about my dog's size everyone seemed to accept each other. Great news! Lucinda decided to take the next step by taking my dog w the small pack for some exercise on the trail in the woods behind the house. The dogs were running around having a great time which relieved my anxiety that my dog might not like to be off leash but she was running and getting some great exercise and learning to enjoy the pack mentality. No fighting or misbehaving, perfect! Lucinda works tirelessly to pamper the pooches morning and night. Morning feedings, evening feedings, medications and always careful observations of the pets. They all sleep like happy babies when the day ends in a real home environment. Prices are in line and reasonable I think for an overnight stay of $44 including feeding, walking, playtime and careful observation by someone who is highly qualified and very knowledgeable of pet behavior. All animals come in contact w other pets only when owner has documentation for boarding such as rabies vaccination, bordetello. This place is a well thought out and safe place to leave your precious pet while you are away. So relax, they got your back!

Dr. Magnotta was her first vet and she was great! Ver compassionate and took very good care of Millie. But she left not long ago and I was nervous who would be Millie's next vet there. Shep, our other fur baby began his visit there and Dr. Barker (ha ha) was his vet. She was just as awesome! Shep is older (black lab, about 15-16 yrs) and has trouble with his back legs so we needed to find a solution to help alleviate his pain. He wouldn't go up and down the stairs at home nor the ramp we built for the back deck. Anyway Dr. barker started him in Adequin shots and I swear Shep was a whole new dog! So now Mille and Shep both see Dr. barker and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a vet. Bottom line, the staff at Guilford Jamestown is wonderful and compassionate people and we will continue to make them our primary vet!!

Being new to the area with a sick pup is no fun. I wanted to establish a relationship with this…read moreclinic, but after my experiences, I am completely done.I brought both of my dogs hereone for a follow-up after an ER visit and the other to establish care. My healthy 11 lb poodle had a small lump on his neck that the doctor claimed they couldn't feel, and that lump has now grown to the size of a small pea. Meanwhile, my sick pup just finished antibiotics. Instead of doing a urinalysis at the clinic, they sent me home to catch the sample myself with the explicit understanding that they would run it immediately so I could get more medicine if needed. When I went back to drop off the sample, I explicitly asked to speak to a technician. Instead, the front desk worker, Diana, intercepted the conversation. She was entirely uninformed and completely misquoted the pricing and turnaround times. It wasn't until I pushed the issue that she actually went back to ask a tech, proving her original information was totally wrong.I called back today to see if they would honor a prescription refill without another exam. While I knew it was a long shot, I figured it was worth asking for my pet's unresolved issue. Instead of just giving a professional answer, Diana used it as an opportunity to argue and defensively bring up past office incidents.Fabricated Notes: To make a bad situation worse, she went into my official account records and wrote a completely untrue, defensive summary of our call, which she then sent to me. It is terrifying that a front desk worker can fabricate a false paper trail to cover up her own bad attitude.I left feeling incredibly frustrated and completely let down. The doctors might mean well, but the front desk is the face of the business. Diana's misinformation, terrible attitude, and false logging completely ruined my trust. I have already escalated this entire mess to the manager, the doctor, and their corporate headquarters (PetVet Care Centers). Save yourself the headache and take your pets elsewhere. This is what was sent to my email from both my pups chart: 9/4/2026 C DDM About last call with O 09/04/26 - FINAL Sep 04/2026 O called again today asking to get medications for the same thing because she did not treated the last issue and she wanted medications. when I told her I will need to send a callback to the Dr to see if they need to do an exam or take any urine sample, she did not like it and decided to not come. She started compalining again about the last incident and justify herself for the last time she was here. She asked me before finish the call to email her the records 09/04/26-DDM 7/20/2026 C DDM About the urine test in house 07/20/26 - CLOSED Aug 04/2026 O came this afternoon and asked me how long usually the labs take to be run. I answered her around 3 to 4 bussiness days to hear something from us and she inmediatly started to said nobody told her about it when she asked for the urine to be runned in house. When she told me that I let her know then it will be run in house and she asked me if there was any charge for it because again, nobody told her she will need to pay something else. I told her I will verify with the technician or KDD if they told her that or was a misscommunication. She also said that KDD sent to her to ER and she was not able to afford anything else and KDD should told her about the price so she will prefer to run it with the ER instead of us. KDD told me it wasn't true and we will be able to run it in house and results will come back today but at the end of the day and ofcourse was a charge she will need to pay. She Said she works in the healthcare field and she nows how everything work and that we have the option to get everything done rightaway for her. ESA got involved at that point explaining to her that yes, we will be able to run the urine in house and will be ready today but will take until the end of the day to get the report from the doctor because we were having patients here. She was mean and in a bad actitude and answered back to ESA she needs this urgent and asked her if she would be able to get antibiotics by the end of the day as well from us. ESA answered to her yes, but as soon as I told her how much would be for the 2 urine samples to be runned, she got mad and said she will do it for less at the ER. She took the urine tests and walked away -DDM

I have been a client at CAH for years, but I've not been happy with the grooming services the last several times. The last couple of times I had my little dog groomed there it seems as if my instructions/requests were either overlooked or completely ignored. I gave the groomer the benefit of the doubt, mistakes happen and after all I'm not the professional. This last time however was the last straw. I've spent the last several months educating myself and trying to grow my dog's double coat back, Brushing every few days and dematting every week to 10 days. I gave detailed instructions to keep her hair long and to only clean up the face/feet/sanitary. Telling them that I'm growing her coat out and I want her hair left long. I went to pick her up and she was shaved to the skin! Her ears are all choppy and she has bald patches everywhere. It's the worst shave job I've ever seen and I was charged a premium price to boot! I didn't receive a phone call or any communication whatsoever to let me know they couldn't meet my request and why. I feel ripped off and ignored. I don't spend $90 to get my own hair cut, much less, pay that much for an all over shave down I could have easily gotten for half the price or done at home myself with better results. Unless you're looking for an overpriced shave down and to be ignored on a regular basis - I'd skip the grooming services here.
