All good things must come to an end, or at least, become incrementally less good over time. Dog Haus has been a great place to come and chill, meet up with friends, or blow off steam after work. I do appreciate the option for Impossible dogs and burgers, though you'll have to order them without a bun and most toppings to keep it vegan. It seems like a neighborhood spot where the people are friendly and no one is judging if you need to start happy hour at 3pm. On that note though, it's a huge bummer that the happy hour deals got a major downgrade. Instead of all drinks being $5 flat, now it's just $3 off select cocktails and $2 off beer and wine. Since the Four Points location closed, I get it, they're clearly trying to cut back and improve margins. It's a fine deal but for the quality of cocktails, not really worth it anymore. read more

I want more of a service experience in my dining experience. I sat myself; I scan a code to order (which I so hate, no menu) and PAID before my food came to me with tip. NOT a restaurant experience more like fast food joint. One person brought our drinks and the soda was flat. The other brough us our food and I will say our hot dogs were good; although we shared fries because they do not come included with your order. The atmosphere and decor does not match what I thought would be a theme, kind of sad that it focuses on the beer but even then, the decor is cold. Because you really do not get a server, no one comes by to check on your service, food or refills. And remember you already tipped when you placed the order! Used to love this place but new management means they have shrunk the portions while charging more for meals in a classic corporate/PE squeezing of the customer. They used to be known for large portions or delicious chicken/burgers but now portions are about 50% less while charging the same or higher. Food did not taste as good either. The bill total was $31.22 Take a look at the photo of the hamburger. Absolutely nothing on it but a smear of what they call "Belly Sauce". It was a little wad of meat in the middle of a large seeded bun? The onion rings were out of a freezer bag, and although they looked fine, they were oily and pretty much tasteless. The fries were only average. The atmosphere: the place is too small for the business. To provide more seating, they placed high-rise tables down the areaService: where the customers are expected to walk to the tables. It was very tight and uncomfortable, and hard to move around. Service: You order with your phone by scanning a QR code on the table. You order and pay from your phone, and eventually they bring the food to your table. We came for lunch and the restaurant was modern and bright. Seems like a great place to watch sports with some friends! We ordered the Chili Idol, Old Town, fries and tater tots. The dogs were both very good and filled us up. They use toasted sweet Hawaiian buns as the the buns and the sweetness goes well with the hot dogs. Right off the rip, the soda machine was down. Not a big deal but later were told that there wasn't even ice to get for our drink and the only working drink was Dr Pepper and that it tasted like diet Dr Pepper. The menu looked amazing but were already turned off by the fact that our beer was poured but held because the other beer's tap ran out...received 3/4 of a pint from the bottom of the barrel and a not-so-fresh one. Kept the food order simple with pickle chips and a small meal of chicken tenders with fries. Pickle chips hardly had any batter on them, if they did, they could have been amazing! The chicken tenders were over cooked but the fries were decent. I guess we got to pick wherever we wanted to sit because no one was really there. Business owners check your cameras on 1/21/24 from 6:30ish-7:30. Very strange place... came to watch the chiefs vs bills after the gym. Not busy, lots of staff... pretty sure we've been watching one of the employees (guy with glasses and ponytail) serve several rounds of shots, mixed drinks and beer without ringing it up for his family (a woman, younger woman with a baby, and a man) all within a very short period of time. Not a good look for your liquor license. Also watched one of the male bartenders make a mixed drink for one of the girls working here (blonde with glasses and bandana). Staff eating/licking their fingers behind the bar. Maybe someone who works here (been going to the BOH) also sitting at the end of the bar where all the staff have been hanging out. Dog Haus Biergarten is a new restaurant to the Cesar Park area. I happen to visit in search of a good hot dog, but also carrying a chicken wing craving. I was not willing to drive all the way to "600 Degrees", this late in the afternoon, so I was quite pleased to discover they also served wings. Along with hot dogs and chicken selections, this restaurant appears to also offer a huge selection of beer and cocktails. The ambiance is very nice, almost classy for a hotdog restaurant. This seems like a nice place to hang out after work for a drink and a quick meal. Memories of "Cheers"! You order at the counter, in person or from a digital tablet. They offer versions with Impossible Meat as well. it's a Saturday evening and they've got a nice flow of hungry customers coming in and takeouts going on as well. The inside of the property is really nice. It's done up very well. Very upscale. Love the style with a sizable BierGarten where non edible dogs are welcome. My husband had two of their credibly delicious all beef hotdogs and although they offer about 14 toppings, he is very simple in his taste and just wanted mustard and ketchup so that's what he got. For to go orders they put it on the side which is great because it keeps that bun nice and Crisp. We ordered a corndog for our pup because we always get him something if we come to a hotdog or hamburger joint and he has had several hotdogs from house when it was in our local food truck park. He definitely put his stamp of approval on their food as well, I branched out and I'm trying a hamburger. I ordered it with crispy onions, bacon, barbecue sauce and then I had to try a side of fries with a side of cheese sauce. I'm very excited about all this very hungry so good match!!!!!
