*Update* One of my obvious GoTo restaurants is Dos Hermano's. We've dined here since 2019, when it was "Gloria's Cafe", and we continue to love it. The refresh has worked out well. There have been some growing pains with mgmt and staffing, but I think it's dialed in now. The food is great, they have excellent menu choices and the family owned feel adds a nice touch. We absolutely love the Ribeye steak and eggs breakfast. Tender ribeye, cooked to perfection. I had the Chorizo and eggs, with beans, rice and tortilla. The mixture of meat and eggs was perfect. Dos Hermanos is a great Tex-Mex spot for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. We frequent here mainly for breakfast. My go-to Favs are the Migas, Huevos Divorciados, or their breakfast tacos. They do have a full bar with drink specials, and their Bloody Marys are on point! Not a Tex-Mex fan, there are plenty of "gringo" options, including biscuits and gravy, omelets, and egg Combos. Service is always prompt and friendly. They did have Mariachis playing on Friday nights, but, according to the staff, the regulars complained that they were too loud. Boo!!!!! read more

Came here again today and I am always quite impressed with this location. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The menu has gotten bigger so I decided to venture out and try something I haven't before on the menu. This time I got a sausage Benedict and I am very pleased that not only did it taste great but the poached egg was cooked to perfection. Check out that liquid gold! The food was great! This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. My wife and I had two different plates and the breakfast portions were generous and the food tasted great. We were greeted ant given a table right away. This is a plus for Sunday morning breakfast options. The staff was friendly and there's plenty of seating with nice decorations along the wall. At this location the serve Coke products, along with the regular coffee and tea, etc. We personally had the Mexican style plates and I can tell you it was much better than some Mexican cafes in the area. Today was enchilada special day, and we try to make it on Wednesdays for this delicious special. My fav are the cheese enchiladas with queso on top, black beans and rice. Pete likes the beef enchiladas with verde sauce on top with black beans and rice. Delish! All in all, we always enjoy our meal choices there, and you have many to choose from. You should try it. I ordered a breakfast taco, made with corn tortillas, refried beans, cheese and hashbrowns, and homemade mild red salsa (just the right amound of garlic, and taste of fresh tomatoes.) Price range was broad, and fair given the quality of ingredients. As far as I could tell, everything was made from scratch. They have an extensive menu, with breakfast, lunch and dinner Tex-Mex items. I can't wait to go back, and will probably order those devine breakfast tacos again. Read the reviews and we decided to try this place. The staff were phenomenal. We were seated right away, had amazing service for the entire experience. I love the updated decor, very nice and clean. We tried the chicken fajitas and carne guisada tacos. For a start we had queso, salsa and chips. (Salsa-really good) The portions for both our meals were very generous, the rice and beans were good and the toppings for the fajitas were fresh a great quality. Carne Guisada anything is always my go to, the tortillas here were absolutely hand made and so good! The meat flavor was rich and excellent. I will be back! The chicken fajitas were a great portion size and the chicken had good flavor, the veggies fresh. The charro beans were fresh and very flavorful. We loved Gloria's and were sad to see her go but Dos Hermanos is a worthy replacement dare I say even better. With a wonderfully bright remodel and a new full bar area Dos Hermanos is in our rotation for both breakfast and dinner. After surviving a Costco Saturday morning shopping fubar we decided a Mexican breakfast was in order as we have been wanting to try this restaurant. My Huevos Rancheros were on point. Plus 1 stated that the red sauce was as good as her mom's. Her Migas were equally good. You will not go away hungry as you get a bountiful serving. The stack of warm tortillas, I believe homemade, was great for sopping up my leftover sauce and eggs. Our personable server stopped by a number of times to check on us as did the manager. They must've paid for reviews cuz this place sucks. The ribeye steak was the absolute lowest level beef known to man, it had a weird jelly pink color and didn't look anything like any steak I ever cooked. It came out and it had those little balls of goop that came out of the steak while cooking like you see when you cook bottom of the barrel frozen burger patties. The enchilada sauce sucked, the rice and beans were avg, the tostada wasn't crispy at all and had to be folded like a big, goopy taco. Taco was avg, tostada flavor was subpar. Chip salsa had no flavor and tasted like they had frozen it or something, no spice whatsoever. Chips sucked. I mean, get your shit together guys, go to Dos Salsas down the street and try some good Tex Mex and go and study what they are doing right, because this food sucked ass. In the former Gloria's location. Looks similar to previous business, but added a bar, and new furniture. First time visit, having breakfast. I ordered the jalapeno sausage breakfast skillet (same item I used to order). The only little tweak it needs is that the home potatoes are kind of mushy. If they dropped them in a fryer or fried them until they were crispy, that would be better. My wife got a classic breakfast plate with eggs, link sausage and hash browns. That was all cooked nicely. Service was decent. Nothing amazing, but we go out for breakfast on weekends, and it will be nice to have another option. read more

I just love this place! And it is not a coincidence, since the "Dos Hermanos" are the nicest guys around! They always solicit my feedback. They are also always checking how things are going, how is the service, they are always trying to find out what they could do better. Jackie , one of their Managers (and bar tender), is an amazing hostess. She always greets customers with a smile, and in my case it makes me feel like I am coming home, rather than entering a restaurant. I come very frequently to this place, and I do LOVE their breakfast options, which are a legacy from the old "Gloria" days. My favorite dish is the "Surf & Turf", reasonably priced, with amazing salad topping options. I generally go for the Cesar Salad, and either "Blue Cheese" or "Ranch" dressing. My second favorite disk is the "Pescado Veracruzano". Their "Fajita Burrito" is beyond yummy, and on the more "traditional Mexican dishes", you cannot go wrong with both the "Carne Guisada Dinner", or their "Steak a la Mexicana". I also appreciate their chips, and salsa. I alternate between red and green, depending on what mood I am in. In short, if you are looking for a nice restaurant that will not break the bank, and where you will be treated like family, then I encourage you to visit this place. I too was hesitant. This location is not the best. Parking lot is shared with small businesses for example. But the service and the food? So on point. Draft beer? check. Seven dollar Mexican martinis, Five -six dollar margaritas on special, yummy chips, really quality salsa, and a full bar to boot? Check. Steak fajitas had great flavor! We were going to Gloria's in Cedar Park. Looking for the address on Google I discovered Gloria's was closed. Oh no! Thanks to a tiny mention down the page I saw that Dos Hermanos had replaced Gloria's. Good enough. We tried it and really liked it. It's still feels like Gloria's inside but I honestly liked the food better. We didn't eat a lot but what we ate was very good. I had a crispy taco. It was one of those yummy tacos where the shell is still crunchy but it doesn't break. Truly a crispy beef taco. We'll definitely be going back. read more

Like so many others in Cedar Park, I was crushed when Gloria's was sold (and then apparently shut down by the IRS or something). So when i discovered that Dos Hermanos was opening in the same spot, with most of the same staff and the (mostly) menu of excellent food, i was thrilled. The cool part? Dos Hermanos has a bar, and it's a nice one. While the place still looks like Gloria's, it has been newly designed and given a nice, clean shine. The most important part of Dos Hermanos is the food. You will not find a better breakfast menu in Cedar Park. The biscuits and gravy...words fail me in describing these things. Just get them. Oh, and like any great diner, breakfast is available all day. The Tex-Mex is where Dos Hermanos shines for me, though. I like simple, a la crispy beef tacos and good salsa. These crispy tacos are as good as any I've had. The regular salsa could be hotter, but do yourself a solid and ask for the secret hot green sauce. It's creamy as hell, tasty and has the kind of spice that sneaks up on you later. Top all of this off with a house marg and you're going to have a fine meal at a completely reasonable price. Dos Hermanos is now my place. It's my Cheers. It's across Lakeline from my neighborhood, but I'd drive a lot further to go eat here if I had to. read more

We waited a few weeks to give breakfast a try. We were disappointed and will wait a few months and hope the overall food gets better. We like the location and want to see this restaurant succeed but the food was not good, we left most of it uneaten. Service was good, the decor is pleasant. The green print on the dark blue menu is hard to read but the vast menu had a lot of options. Party of 3, our plates barely fit on the table. Every item came on a too large plate, we immediately did a lot of consolidating. I ordered an ala carte breakfast ribeye med rare and a pancake. Steak was darn near raw, sent back. Due to table space, I had transferred my pancake to my steak plate. When the steak went back, so did my pancake and was returned with a slightly more done steak, hashbrowns that I didn't order and no pancake. The steak was an excellent breakfast steak, tender and tasty. I eventually received a cold pancake. Hubs ordered the sausage links w/eggs, homefries, wheat toast dry and a half order of biscuits & sausage gravy on the side. The sausage links are chicken sausage which we did not realize (ick) and no pork options. The home fries were cold, just barely cooked, dry toast was buttered, biscuit was cut in half, grilled with butter and served with the gravy. Hubs does not like butter, this all went untouched. The sausage gravy was good. Friend ordered chicken fried steak and over easy eggs with toast. Suspected the chicken fried steak was premade/frozen. Said it was ok but not great. Eggs were cooked correctly, toast was good. Food was a major letdown, we were not impressed at all. Staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful, they get 5 stars. read more
