My adoption forms went through fine and all that was left was to have someone stop over to check on my house. About 20 minutes before they were supposed to show up a woman from the shelter called me to tell me that the cat which I had already filled forms out for first was already adopted! They need to be more organized and learn to respond back in a timely manner, I got off work early even and this was unacceptable.

I was at Planned Pethood's adoption event at Petco one Sunday. My fiance and I had thrown around…read morethe idea of getting a cat, but I didn't go with the intention of taking one home that day. However, I found a kitten that I fell in love with. I didn't want to make the decision without my fiance meeting the cat first, but he had to work until after the event was going to be over. The kitten had been in the store that past week, so they didn't want to leave him there again, but it was the only way my fiance would meet him. The Planned Pethood staff was wonderful and they ended up letting him stay at the store. I brought the fiance back that night and we took him home. Our kitten is the most wonderful thing in the world. Without Planned Pethood we wouldn't have found him!
