We have used Dog Walking Pals for years. Every dog walker has been competent and kind to our dogs. We have one dog who is a challenge- with a combination of retirement and COVID insecurities. The owner Cindy worked with us and our dog to get our dog ready for us to be gone on vacation. She made sure she was the dog walker for the eight days we were gone, so our dog had one less challenge to deal with. I cannot say enough good things about this business! I've worked with several dog walking companies over the years and dog walking pals is the best! With two dogs and a cat, our crew can get pretty wild. When we adopted our second dog, there were a few special requests and training needs that we had. All the walkers were informed and kept up the training we worked so hard with on ALL of their walks. Our pooches were always stoked to see their buddies and I've seen our dogs sprint across the huge dog park when they've recognized one of their pals. Whenever a new walker was added to the crew, they would always be accompanied by a seasoned walker who knew our animals. There was never a stranger rolling into our apartment and that makes such a huge difference for the pooches. Going out of town? They do overnight care too! They'll snuggle your furry friends all night while you're gone. You will also get email updates when your walker hs arrived and when the service is complete. When I'm working, I look forward to my updates that always include pictures of the walkers with the pooches. We have been so happy with the service we've gotten from Dog Walking Pals. We started using them about three years ago when we first moved to the area. Our two cats need occasional food/litter visits when we're traveling, and it has always been an easy, seamless process with this crew. It's a big deal to allow someone access to your home when you aren't there, but we have always found the cat sitters to be incredibly professional, respectful of our home, and great at what they do. Let me first start by saying: My fiance and I have NEVER used a dog walking service before. So, when we began our research to find a reliable, reputable dog walking company, we came across Dog Walking Pals online and they had great reviews, so we gave them a shot. What can I say, they are the total package! From the owner Sarah to the managers/dog walkers (Danielle, Cindy, Travis, etc), these people not only are good at what they do, but they love what they do. Always on time, reliable, and patient with our little beagle mix, William. William is an amazing dog but has a lot of trust issues (that he had way before we adopted him). Poor little guy. But, the team at Dog Walking Pals "gets" that and understands that every pet on their client roster is different, has unique needs and has to be treated/approached differently. We typically schedule a daily, 30 minute walk for our dog on Monday through Friday while my fiance and I are at work. Each day we receive an email notification when the dog walker arrives and then a separate email notification when the dog walker leaves. In that second notification, we receive a recap of if our dog went #1 and/or #2, as well as notes about how the visit/walk went, along with a few pictures of the dog walker with our dog. Talk about peace of mind! When I see an email notification come through from Dog Walking Pals, I light up with excitement because our dog always looks SO HAPPY! They do a fantastic job. We are not easy as we travel a lot and frequently change our schedule. They take great care of our two retired greyhounds and our house cat. They make payments easy with PayPal and have an email service notifying us when they arrive and leave. I have never used a dog walking service before so of course I was nervous and did a lot of searching of different walkers near Golden. I am so happy I went with Sarah and her team. Travis and Danielle were the 2 walkers who took care of my pup and kitty while I was gone. They came over for a meet and greet a couple days before and were extremely friendly and passionate about what they do. They sent an email after every visit with a recap of the walk and some photos of my furbabies. Where do I begin? Unfortunately, whether it's a park or trail in a neighboring state that doesn't allow dogs, taking motorcycle trips, or just a long day, there are times I can't be home to let the fur babies out and Dog Walking Pals (DWP) has been there for me time and time again. Recently, I was on a bike trip and as life would have it, it broke down as shops were closing plus it was a weekend. I called DWP at 11pm cringing that I hadn't made sure the pups were taken care of as I was supposed to be home by then. As late as it was, Sarah answered immediately, and after hearing that I was stranded, she didn't skip a beat and said it would be ok and she would get a walker over as soon as possible and for the next day. All the walkers are amazing needlessness to say but this weekend, Cindy came thru and saved me. She went far above and beyond and put the trash out for us. Thank you Cindy! All the walkers love your dogs like they're their own dogs. Most of the time pictures are posted and my dogs are always smiling. My dogs love them all. I can not say enough about this company from the professionalism to accommodation. As long I live in their area of service, I won't use anyone else. My only complaint is that there's no separate option on the Pet Check Technology site to send a tip after your service has been completed (not DWP's fault as they use a third party). Speaking of, the Pet Check site is easy to navigate, the choices for what services are needed are clearly explained. I'd give 6/5 stars for Dog Walking Pals. read more

I have used Sarah and her team for 2 separate trips and will continue to use them. Chuy always seems really happy and relaxed when I get home. He's a 4lb Chihuahua so leaving him in a facility was never an option. I can't believe I haven't written a review about Sarah and dog walking pals. I am so grateful for them!! We got our little pup back in November and needed a dog walker as we both work full time (bf and I). After meeting Sarah, I knew pup was in good hands. Her whole team is so amazing, compassionate, and really care about the wellbeing of their pups. Getting pictures of Carl every day with a description of the walk made my day as I sat at work wishing I was home. Their booking is easy and there were several times we got stuck in a last minute punch and were able to have a walker come save the day! Seriously these guys are the best. My only complaint is I wish they served the whole Denver area because we will miss them when we move! read more

We have been using Dog Walking Pals for over 5 years now and I'm still so impressed by this company. They cared for my dog Tecate as if he was one of their own. When we went out of town I was comforted by the fact that I knew they would take excellent care of him. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to put Tecate down while we were out of town because his health was failing, but Cyndi and Christina were so wonderful. They gave him so much love and attention throughout his final days. Cyndi texted me after every visit to let me know how he was doing and she and Christina even came by the night before to say their final goodbyes and give him some snuggles. I never even had to request anything, they just knew what he needed. I FaceTimed with Tecate and he seemed so happy and content to be with them. Having to euthanize an animal when you are unable to be by their side is extremely difficult, but knowing Cyndi had shown him so much love and affection really helped me get through it. A few things, First of all I wished I had done more research as to who is the most cost effective because unfortunately this is not the place. Secondly they are sometimes difficult to get ahold of (not sure why those yelp reviews got moved to not recommended because I have had the same experience, makes you wonder.....) Lastly, as a pet owner, I know my beloved fur babies get very attached to their secondary care givers so I make it a point to choose a place where hopefully the same few people will be tending to my pets. This place has crazy turnover (based on website, facebook and posted pictures) so it makes me nervous to have different people around my pets when I would prefer some more consistency if possible. read more

I have been using Dog Walking Pals for a little over a month now and have been so happy with the experience! Due to a move and my partners job change I found myself in need for doggy care every work day. Which as you likely know, adds up quick! It has been incredibly convenient and has really helped save some money! You schedule and manage everything online and can even have someone come just to feed or let your pet out in the evening if you are going out for the night. Everyone I have spoken to or received daily updates from have been very nice, professional and flexible. I was really worried about giving strangers access to my place but I have no concerns about it anymore. You receive an email with pictures after each trip and a summary of how it went. We have been using Dog Walking Pals for nearly a year now and will continue for the foreseeable future. Due to work schedules and commutes, we need a mid-day walk for our beloved dog most week days. Sarah and her team are professional and responsive. We also like the option to add our doggy to "hiking club," which means he gets a longer walk on a trail, time in the car, and the opportunity to play with other dogs. This is perfect for days when we will get home later than usual, so he is not cooped up by himself for as long. Dog Walking Pals has also recently switched over to an electronic record keeping system, which is awesome! We get an email when the walk starts and ends, along with comments on how he did and pictures to boot! Also, there is now an online invoicing system that automatically pays the balance each month, so I no longer have to remember to log on to PayPal. Dog Walking Pals truly care about the pets they take care of and are very personable with people too. They get to know each pet and leave personalized notes each visit. Not every visit, but often they also take pictures. They clearly love working with the animals and give the best care they can. When I came back from being out of town my dog was relaxed and his normal self. That was so great for me, because the when I had left him in daycare previously he was extremely stressed when I got back. He needs special care and Dog Walking Pals was able to give it to him. I'm so happy to have found this wonderful little local business. I recently got a puppy (a little unexpected) and Dog Walking Pals has been a lifesaver. Since my pup is too little to attend dog day care and I work long hours sometimes, I knew I would need help. Within two hours of calling them, Sarah (the owner) had already made a meet and greet appointment with me to meet my dog. She made me feel confident that my puppy would be in good hands and was very thorough in her explanation of the way things work. They also use a great easy online system which makes it simple to schedule/pay for services. I feel the prices are also very reasonable after researching prices for both dog walkers/dog daycares in the area. Additionally, you get updated email when they arrive and leave including a nice description of how the visit went which is really great to know. They also are fairly flexible and were able to accommodate some services I scheduled that were not on our original schedule. My puppy seemed very happy when I returned all the days she's gotten her visits from Lina (our assigned dog walker).
