If your looking for a responsible, caring individual to walk your dog... Renee is one of the best!…read moreI trust her with my best friends ... She' does both dog walking (hard to find dog walkers that actually walk your dog) and trips to Jack Darling... She asks and informs you of where she'll be going and I trust she does what she says... She does evening walks with our new puppy.... Very convenient and hard to find anyone willing to go beyond 9 to 5 hours...

Short version: I engaged in Renee's services at Doggy gogo. I gave her my key and within hours she…read moretexted me to tell me she lost it. My dog was left without the care and I incurred cost totaling $125 replace the FOB she lost along with my key as well as the cost of getting my lock changed. Long version: I needed someone to check in on my new puppy and after finding Doggy Gogo online and reading some reviews, I called Renee to request a meet and greet. I had some reservations based on that initial conversation, but she had great reviews and I checked her out online. She's bonded and she has been doing this for a while and I was in a bind. When Renee met with me and my pup it was clear that she really cares for animals and I felt comfortable that she would take care of my little guy. I gave Renee a key to my home along with a FOB to my building. A couple hours later I received a text from Renee telling me that she lost my key and FOB. I had to take the day off work the next day to get my locks changed and replace the fob she lost. Instead of paying Renee $50 for 2 days of dog walking, I ended up having to take time off work and spend a total of $125 to change my locks and replace the FOB. Renee was very apologetic, and she spent time tracing her steps to search for my key with no luck. When I suggested to her that I thought she should offer to absorb some of the costs I incurred due to her mistake, she got quite defensive and insisted I was being needlessly cautious in changing my locks and refused to contribute to the cost. I was completely stunned by this response. In my experience, business owners genuinely try to correct errors. Not the case at all here. In fact, she told me that if I was a regular customer she would consider it, but I wasn't so it wasn't worth her time. I suppose she has all the business she needs and the prospect of a new loyal customer is meaningless to her. At my insistence she agreed to pay for the FOB and told me she mailed a cheque to me. This happened about a month ago. Since then she actually found my key and texted me to alert me that I could go get it myself on a lost and found board at a park she frequents. The park is out of my way and I asked her to drop the FOB/key off to me or mail it to me. She said she had no intention of doing so since she had already send me a cheque for the cost of the FOB. To date, I have not received a cheque or my key back. I waited a month to write this review because I think most people are good and they want to do the right thing. I also understand that mistakes happen. Before writing this review I texted Renee one more time to see if she had bothered to send either... One last chance to make it right. She had no interest in doing so "I don't know why you didn't receive the cheque and I don't understand why you don't just go get the key yourself". Renee made it crystal clear that she has absolutely no interest in righting her mistake. I'm sure She is wonderful with animals and I'm sure many of her customers appreciate her service. But I think that how a company or individual behaves when something goes wrong is much more telling then how they behave when things are going to plan. Mistakes happen. How we respond to them speaks volumes and Renee has made it very clear that customer service and integrity simply are not priorities for her.

My Petropolis is the pet friendly creation of a few former vet techs who wanted to bring their experience and love of animals to a business of their own focused on caring for local cats and dogs. When we're in a bind we will typically call ahead a day or two ahead of time and make a reservation for Opie. To date we've never had an issue making a booking and our little guy loves it so much that he can't wait to get out of the car when we pull up. Prices are really fair with cats going for $20 for a full day on single purchase and $36 for a full day single purchase for your dog. There are significant price savings if you purchase either a 5, 10 or 20 stat package (as much as $8/day). The team here is great and we always feel comfortable leaving the little dude here.

Chevy literally got his own room all to himself, not a cage or a tiny cubicle-like space that other boarding places offer. The little room was full of climbing equipment and a 2 story sleeping area and in addition to our own blankets, he was given a fresh comforter to sleep on. Highly recommend this place not only for boarding but also for dog grooming and daycare, my friend loves them too and brings her dog there regularly. Also check out their little shop!

My dog is nervous and they made him hate grooming. Last time l was there, Eden, the groomer, was yelling at me, yes, yelling, because my dog didn't cooperate with her and she wanted me to bring him every 2 months instead of 6, though l told her he hates grooming and once he sees the place, he refuses to leave the car. She charged me double and when l tipped her in her hand, she didn't even bother to say thank you. I called the supervisor and she offered a refund as an apology, and when l told her l won't bring him back for full grooming, they blocked me from all petsmart branches. PATHETIC and vindictive. I have never seen such an attitude!
