1st time customer. Doggie Do'Little Pet Salon was great with our nervous doggie who shakes uncontrollably and poops whenever we have gotten him groomed before. Jennika took her time and made over him like he was best cutie pootie puppy ever before she started the grooming session. The cut looks great. Our other dog had a nail trim which can be challenging because she hates her nails trimmed. Again, time was spent just interacting with our dog prior to the nail trim, so that she willing went with the groomer. Will return for grooming services in the future. read more

Jennifer here has been amazing for our Buddy who is 10 years old. Buddy has never let anyone touch his paws or trim his nails, not even the vet. And he loves the vet. She worked with him slowly over a few months and can not only trim them but is able to take the Dremmel to them! He also has special needs with his allergies that they are very sensitive to. This was my first visit and I couldn't be happier! They were able to schedule me within 24 hours of my initial call - wow! The grooming appointment was scheduled with Brittany and I could tell, right away, by our first phone conversation she was going to be wonderful with my girl. Queenie is an 8-month old golden retriever full of excitable puppy energy (this was my first concern) and has extremely dry flaky skin in addition to IBS. We spoke at length while scheduling the appointment and Brittany was very clear and transparent regarding her experience and what she was able to do alleviating my concerns. I arrived early for the appointment as we had a few more things to discuss. Her care and compassion were not only directed to Queenie but to me as well. She is quite gifted, knowledgeable & personable. She assured me she would be very patient and help Queenie work through any issues with kindness, gentleness & patience but still maintain leadership with Queenie. Throughout the appointment Brittany kept me advised on how things were going, which I very much appreciated. When it was time to pick up Queenie we had a quick follow up conversation about how things went overall, discussing the skin issue and possible remedies and what homework we can work on until our next visit (Queenie didn't have a good experience with our previous groomer). It was a stellar day and a win for everyone. Queenie had a fabulous visit, looks absolutely gorgeous, she made a new friend & I have one more supporter and encourager on this journey of dog/human relationship! I have been using Doggie Do'Little for 2 years now for both of our fur babies, both poodle mixes. Our Poochon, Prince, passed last April and we continued going with Tyrion...our cavapoo. We normally take him every 6-8 weeks to get groomed. Every time we brought Tyrion home he had some kind of knick or razor burn. It was normally a small knick around his genital or anal area. I understand that a close shave is required there and that is bound to happen. Tyrion would like at the wound for a day or three and be done. However, this time it had only been exactly 4 weeks since his last grooming and just wanted him to get "touched up" before all our family and friends came in from out of town for graduation. This time, Tyrion came home and was not acting like his normal perky, playful self. He went to his bed and just laid there. He wouldn't willingly get up for anything! Not for food, not to go outside to potty, not to play...anything! I thought maybe he was just tired. The next morning, I noticed that he was licking at his front underarm area. It looked like he had kicked the whole area bald, but saw a big red circular spot that was completely raw. I couldn't really see if there was a knick because he had been licking the area so much and he wouldn't let me get a good look. Long story short, he had been seriously injured at this salon and nothing was ever even mentioned when he was picked up. He refused to eat for two days and only would take tiny bits of water. I was having to decide whether to take him to the ER or go to my daughter's HS graduation!! Little by little, I nursed him back to health...brought his food and water to him, bandaged the wound with aloe vera, etc. He would only go potty if I put him on a leash and carried him outside. A full week later, Tyrion was finally starting to show signs of getting back to his normal self. This was also the first opportunity I had to call the Salon. I spoke to a manager and she offered to take care of things "internally" and to bring it up with the owner. However she also said she would make a not in Tyrion's file that he is sensitive and not to use the close clippers in those areas. She then said that sometimes the underarm areas get matted and the dogs scratch and lick at them before coming in to the shop. I explained that there was no way that he was matted. He had just been groomed 4 weeks ago and we brush him regularly! I was livid that she was trying to make this our fault! I did tell her that I didn't know the best way to take care of this situation because I've never had this happen before. I was giving her an opportunity to offer to refund the price of grooming or at least the next time to be free or something...but she just repeated the reassurance that she would talk to the owner and the groomer so that it doesn't happen again. I was hoping that I would receive at least a follow up from the owner, if indeed they were told about the incident. However, I have yet to have anyone at all call to check on Tyrion or to apologize or anything to make amends for the drastic mistreatment of my little guy. So, beware. I for one will be going somewhere else. read more

Not a good experience. They shaved a large 8" chunk out of his front leg, his face had zero blending and large chunks of uncut hair. They also cut his nails too short which caused him to bleed. I understand it happens, but they could have cleaned him up afterwards. Sending him home with dried bloody paws and a hacked up face for $170 is a bit ridiculous. read more

This is the best place to go in York County, hands down. Everyone here does an amazing job and is receptive to what you want. They are great with managing the 4 leggers and the 2 leggers alike as we walk in when there are 3 other people in line or whatever. I love this place for basic grooming of my personal dogs, and for my rescue foster dogs too... my fosters are often shy or skittish, and all the groomers here are so calm and relaxed, and especially patient. You can clearly tell by their interactions with my pooches that they truly love animals. I also REALLY appreciate them helping shave the belly of an especially hairy female foster to help me look for a spay tattoo... AT NO CHARGE! My local vet that I've been going to for over 10 yrs- Leader Heights Animal Hospital- wanted to charge me $10 to do the same thing, even knowing it was for a rescue foster dog! These guys and gals at Doolittle know a thing or two about customer service! read more

The staff at this groomer are always pleasant to interact with. Eric is an excellent groomer who know how I like my dog to look. She wags her tail in excitement whenever I drop her off there, and comes back smelling clean and fresh with white-again fur. Prices are reasonable too. We brought two out of five of our dogs in today for a basic grooming (bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, etc.) and they did an awesome job with both! They're both rescues, so I know they can be finicky. Emmett is generally very even keel, but he doesn't like his nails clipped. Claire on the other hand is a neurotic worry wart who spooks easily. I was surprised to learn that she actually did a great job considering this was the first time she has ever been groomed. That's very comforting! They came out smelling clean and fresh with white paws & significantly less shedding. I'm very pleased with the service, especially for the price. Her people skills are amazing and she is the best thing about this little store. Her skills are better then the others and she is such a hidden gem hidden in this tiny tiny place. The others all frown and don't want to deal with my questions. Bethany actually cares. Bethany always is willing to talk and answer my honest questions. I have been thinking of going to any other place but bethany and her smile are what always brings me back. Otherwise I would never step into that store again!!!
