I decided to take a chance on obedience training. I had a friend that recommended K9 Companions so I called. I was on the phone with them for a half hour they answered all of my questions concerns and fears. They also told me that they would be able to tell if the Dog was able to be trained and have the negative behaviors stopped/reversed. Their prices are the best around, and they are honest about what can and cannot be done to help with the dog. They did an amazing job not only helping me to understand how to work with the dog, but also helped me change the behavior in the dog so she can still be our family pet. They explained they are not only training the dog, but also the owner as it is really up to the owner to make the needed changes. They are wonderful, and well worth the cost.

He told me he would give me a receipt. He Never Did!!! At the 2nd arranged session, he called me and rescheduled it because of some conflict. I agreed. When he did arrive, his wife was with him, no problem with me but she Supposedly fell in love with the pup and wanted her, so on the 3rd scheduled session, which he rearranged for some reason. When he arrived 2 days later he told me that She really wanted that pup which was 4-5 months old at that time, Because it was so difficult for me to handle her because of my disabilities and age, and that I needed a smaller more docile dog, I agreed she could have the dog. I freely gave them the puppy. He told me that he would refund me the $500.00 AND train the next dog I chose for free. He has made NO EFFORT to refund the CASH MONEY I paid him at the 1st session! I believed in him then. Since he has made NO EFFORT to refund the $500, will not answer the calls or texts, in my opinion he is as stated at the beginning, A lying cheat, a thief and a fake fraud!!!!!!! I had misunderstood the fee structure and when I went to pick them up I was surprised at the bill. However, after learning that I had misunderstood the price for the large pen, the manager Brestyn was gracious enough to extend the lower price that I was expecting it to be. This is the type of customer service that endears people to a business. In addition, the two ladies that I met were friendly and seemed sincerely kind and enthusiastic about their jobs. I have found a new kennel at which I can board my dogs knowing that they will be treated with kindness and a true interest in their best care. Thank you!

The people…read morein the grooming department have gone out of their way to help me make sure my dog is comfortable and then I have the best program set up with all the extras that I want at a decent price, every time I take my guy dog in to be groomed which is monthly he's always very pleasantly happy and excited to go. He always knows that afterwards he's going to get a freshly baked cookie from the cookie bar that they keep well stocked. The store, it's good to keep most items in stock, and are willing to help you order something if it is not there.

I made a Yelp account JUST to share my horror story. I am not the kind who complains about…read moreanything. Well, I made my first ever corporate complaint phone call today. I'm not one to do that, but this situation is unacceptable. We took Sansa to Petco to get groomed today. We explained how she had gotten out of the fence and into god knows what, and that her underbelly was pretty matted in the process. We were aware that her belly may need to be shaved down to get some of the matting out, and I was ok with that. I reminded them that although she had a prescription for anxiety medication for when she is groomed, I was aware of Petco's policy of no sedatives, and just asked that if she was too anxious, they could call me and I'd just take her to the vet to be groomed another day under supervision of the vet if she had to be on the sedative, I was fine with that. The girl who took her said they'd do a quick check, call me in 15-20 minutes and let me know about what they might need to do about the matting, if they could cut it out, brush it out, or just in case it would need to be shaved, they'd at least call to let me know. TWO HOURS LATER, we still hadn't been contacted, so we just went in to get her. The manager came out, sheepishly said there'd be no charge, explained our dog was anxious and we could try another day, and they would allow her to take the anxiety medicine for that appointment. Then they brought her out and we saw why. They SHAVED MY ENTIRE HUSKY. Without my permission. Having been advised to call and let me know what would need done. I repeat, PETCO. SHAVED. MY. HUSKY. I'm so livid I literally cried. I called corporate and lodged a complaint, but realistically I know there's nothing they can do to make this better. They could fire the entire grooming staff and it still won't make my beautiful dog's coat come back any sooner. I'm devastated. So, the moral of this story is, DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED AT PETCO. Now excuse me while I take a nap because the combination of being extremely pregnant and sobbing my eyes out has exhausted me

My dog has had wonderful success getting her obedience Canine Good Citizen title and advanced titles in the other sports we've trained as well. For me the great part about training with Lynsey is that she is able to look at an end result and break that down into smaller, more manageable training pieces which will eventually combine into the more complicated end result. That might sound like a simple thing, but when you have a dog out in public it's exceptionally important and keeps your life as stress-free as possible. Loki will respond to my seizures at home with the vest on or off, out in public or at home, around distractions, etc. As I go room-to-room, he follows me to keep an eye on me at all times. If I fall, he will run and dive under me, roll me on my side, lay down and protect me from hitting hard objects. He can also brace to help me stand up afterwards when I'm groggy and off-balance. He will also lick my face to help me come back to more quickly. Beyond being a great dog at his job, Loki is a fantastic companion. He has a ton of personality. When I put the vest and head halter on, he's in total work mode, but take it off and his excitement to play puts joy on my face every day. And when he's tired, he becomes a little cuddle bug. In terms of working with SIT Service Dogs, they are fantastic. You can message me them throughout the entire process and they will respond. Sometimes you may need different documents for grant agencies, the government, doctors, etc., and they do their best to act as quickly as possible to get you what you need. They maintain a relationship with you after delivery to help you work through any problems that arise, and they will even help you with questions about how to deal with situations in the real world such as how to deal with a businesses not letting you in or asking if your vet's recommended tests are all really necessary. They train you on how to operate with your dog, take care of him, etc. It's up to you to follow their instructions. You'll actually be left with a binder that sets you up for success that has information about different legal documents, medical history, dog needs, etc. I cannot say enough good things about SIT Service Dogs. I've taken Loki into the busiest bars on a Saturday onto the dance floor and danced with him as well as places like the mall, Lambeau Field, restaurants, into arcades with flashing lights and loud noises, and anywhere else you can imagine. He has been up to the challenge every single time. That's why you go to SIT Service Dogs if you are in need of a service dog.
