I went there yesterday with the idea that I was…read morejust going to pick up a few complimentary gifts for my newly adopted dog and then go on to another chain pet store to pick up his specialized food-he has food allergies. When I told Sydney and her associate what brand of food I feed him they let me know that Pure Pet carries it, their price is lower and that they have a buyers club that I will benefit from. After viewing what food allergies my dog has they helped me get the perfect treats for him. I am so impressed with Pure Pet I will be returning for all my dog's needs.

The people…read morein the grooming department have gone out of their way to help me make sure my dog is comfortable and then I have the best program set up with all the extras that I want at a decent price, every time I take my guy dog in to be groomed which is monthly he's always very pleasantly happy and excited to go. He always knows that afterwards he's going to get a freshly baked cookie from the cookie bar that they keep well stocked. The store, it's good to keep most items in stock, and are willing to help you order something if it is not there.

I'm not one to do that, but this situation is unacceptable. We took Sansa to Petco to get groomed today. We explained how she had gotten out of the fence and into god knows what, and that her underbelly was pretty matted in the process. We were aware that her belly may need to be shaved down to get some of the matting out, and I was ok with that. I reminded them that although she had a prescription for anxiety medication for when she is groomed, I was aware of Petco's policy of no sedatives, and just asked that if she was too anxious, they could call me and I'd just take her to the vet to be groomed another day under supervision of the vet if she had to be on the sedative, I was fine with that. The girl who took her said they'd do a quick check, call me in 15-20 minutes and let me know about what they might need to do about the matting, if they could cut it out, brush it out, or just in case it would need to be shaved, they'd at least call to let me know. TWO HOURS LATER, we still hadn't been contacted, so we just went in to get her. The manager came out, sheepishly said there'd be no charge, explained our dog was anxious and we could try another day, and they would allow her to take the anxiety medicine for that appointment. Then they brought her out and we saw why. They SHAVED MY ENTIRE HUSKY. Without my permission. Having been advised to call and let me know what would need done. I repeat, PETCO. SHAVED. MY. HUSKY. I'm so livid I literally cried. I called corporate and lodged a complaint, but realistically I know there's nothing they can do to make this better. They could fire the entire grooming staff and it still won't make my beautiful dog's coat come back any sooner. I'm devastated. So, the moral of this story is, DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED AT PETCO. Now excuse me while I take a nap because the combination of being extremely pregnant and sobbing my eyes out has exhausted me

My jacket was stolen before I even got the chance to wear it. I called "Three Chicks: and the ladies were able to find and order me another jacket just like the one that was stolen. They were so nice and they remembered me from shopping in their store. They were truly wonderful and I look forward to doing business with them again. Be sure you have an isolation tank to treat the fish first! (NOTE.. I have 7 fish tanks ranging from 90 gallon 70 gallon a 55 gallon and 3 of the 32 gallon on racks etc.. Absolutely horrible experience with Liz at Dee's Pets. I have never felt so disrespected by an…read moreemployee in my life. From the second I tried asking questions, she was rude, condescending, and acted like customers were a complete annoyance to her. Her attitude was unbelievably unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for a business that's supposed to help people care for animals. What makes it even worse is that she confidently gave advice that did not seem accurate at all. When it comes to animal care, misinformation can seriously affect people's pets, so having someone speak so arrogantly while being unhelpful is extremely concerning. Instead of listening or trying to help, she talked down to me the entire time and made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I left feeling angry, disrespected, and shocked that someone with that behavior is still employed there. There's no excuse for treating customers the way she does. A bad day is one thing, but this was straight up nasty behavior for absolutely no reason. If Dee's Pets cares about its reputation or its customers, they seriously need to address how Liz treats people because she made what should have been a simple visit into one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I will not be returning after this experience, and I honestly would not recommend anyone deal with Liz if they expect kindness, professionalism, or reliable help.

I purchase my dog's Acana dog food, gear, toys, and the occasional treat here. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. My Sheltie puppy was covered in mud from head to toe from playing at the dog park and I stopped by Busch's to give him a much needed bath. The self-service dog bath station is great! For $15.00, I was given plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and supplies to thoroughly clean and bathe my puppy. It took me forever to clean and dry his thick, long, double coat. I appreciated that the staff did not rush me and was understanding. Note: Check their website regularly for special events. We had our puppy's one year photos taken here last year on a whim for $15.00. They also have pet luaus and 5Ks.
