Not sure what is going on with this company, but their customer service has gone downhill. I've been a customer for waste cleanup for a few years now, but their billing system is awful - double charging, adding fees without saying anything and then when you question such, they disappear. I've been sending emails since February (I'm owed refunds of a decent amount) and radio silence. At this point I'm quitting their services - even sent an email about that and asking to confirm receipt - yep, no answer again. Not a great way to run a company. read more

I wrestled with writing this review as I like to support small businesses whenever I can but I was a paying customer and this involves my amazing four legged child. I contacted Doggy Deuce because I was leaving the country. Chris (owner) came over to my home and asked me questions to which I also asked if I would be getting updates on my dog while I would be away as that was important to me and I was told yes and that all I would have to do is text them. While out of the country I never heard from them nor received any response when I text them for an update. That made me extremely uncomfortable on my trip. When my dog came back home he was extremely lethargic to which I assumed that maybe he was just tired from being at their establishment. I then proceeded to inspect his body. I checked his ears, mouth and then I got to his legs. There were injuries on ALL 4 legs (see photos). I STILL gave this place the benefit of the doubt. I contacted them immediately. This was on a Monday. After following up several times I finally got a call back from Chris on a Friday. He explained that they were extremely understaffed and couldn't get back to me with updates while I was away. I wish that was communicated to me when he came to my home a couple days before my trip so I could've made other arrangements. When it came to explaining my dogs injuries he stated that he believed he did them to himself by chewing. This is not my dogs first time in daycare. He has never chewed on his body. I honestly would've appreciated a simple "i don't know" or "I'm not sure" but the explanation I was given was just unacceptable. I was then charged an additional $60 without my consent as they have a grooming section to which they groomed my dog and when asked about it I was told that my dogs nails were kind of long and he thought it would be a good idea. Boarding a pet is already expensive and I believe I was taken advantage of by grooming my dog who was just groomed a few weeks before for thanksgiving. The only additional fees I agreed to was that in an event my dog needed any medical attention not grooming wise. As a pet owner, my dog is treated like my child. If this had happened to my birth child in daycare I would've been just as upset to see injuries and not have an explanation as to what happened. Unfortunately this company has yet again failed to properly trained or communicate with their new staff. Once again one of the their employees have left my gate open for my two pit bulls which are not dog friendly. They were instructed since the beginning to call my phone before they came so we can ensure the dogs were inside, but they failed to do that too. If he was confused as I was told. He should have called the office, myself or rescheduled. I find it very disturbing and hard to understand the lack of common sense of this person. I used them based on a recommendation that the owner is nice. Never met the owner but the 2 blonde girls in the office are rude and condescending. This happened on several occasions during conversions both by phone and emails. They use text messaging a bit too often for serious back and forth discussions. That's terrible for me because it's hard to file it away like i would an email. . In fact i got into an argument with one of the girls about it and she kinda told me "Too Bad" or "I should have known" when a schedule got messed up. Often the person who showed up was late but there were rarely problems with the service itself. Now since my dog can't talk i can't get his take on it his experience but as a customer with several other options to chose from this is BS. I simply WILL NOT deal with attitudes from people who are not selling a proprietary product and have bad customer service skills. The owner, who never seems to see any of this, needs to get his head out of his ass and make sure that his business is being represented in the best way possible. I wouldn't go as far as calling them c****s like in one of the reviews. Just firing them will do the job fine. read more

Many thanks to Jen, Chris and Colleen for taking such good care of our lab, Hunter. Our schedules are not consistent, and they always happily accommodate us to make sure Hunter gets walked and fed when we can't be home. We have used other dog walkers and what we like the most about them is that they are excellent dog handlers. Our dog has lots of energy and needs someone who knows how to handle him, not just drag him on a walk (or be dragged by him lol). We have also used them for training sessions and for weekend boarding. Hunter is always happy after any time spent with them. Doggy deuce is an absolutely amazing business- and I have been dealing with them now for probably close to 4-5 years. Chris, Jen and the rest of the crew are always responsive to calls or emails! Whenever I go away- they take such good care of my dogs that I don't feel guilt about leaving them. They have even done emergency walks or pick ups for my dogs when I can't get home intake to let my dogs out. I have 2 senior dogs who don't have the best bladder control at this point- so its really nice to know that if I call doggy deuce, they are always there for my two four legged girls! read more

Doggy Deuce has been a God send for my family. We have hired many trainers for our 3 year old Golden Retriever and never achieved any results until we met Chris. Chris is the only trainer that has been able to help us with our dog. He is wonderful and has been a great source of information on how to manage our spirited Golden Retriever. Chris has worked with our dog as well as our family on many occasions and each time we are well prepared on how to manage Harley. Chris is an excellent trainer and very experienced. Jen is awesome. Whenever we call or email for an appointment, she calls back immediately. Even if we have a last minute request she works hard to fit us in. Our dog is full of energy and is not always well behaved and Chris knows how to handle him. Doggy Deuce is the best service that we have ever used. They are reliable, honest and give the best care to our dog and family. I have called Chris on many occasions with questions on training or behavior and he is always helpful and thoughtful.
