When I asked why they weren't outside, I was told there is a chance of rain. Indoor "play" consists of a small area with 20+ dogs and nowhere to run around. There is a LOT of spraying dogs faces and the attendants standing in one spot. At least split the large dogs into two rooms so that they can run around. My suggestion would be to find a different location in the winter months.

I have never left a bad review before but I have never been this unhappy with a service of any kind…read morebefore as well and the lack of responsibility was shocking. I normally take my 6‑month‑old Cockapoo, Teddy, to 4 Paws and a Tail every four weeks, but they were booked out 10 weeks this time, so we tried PetSuites in Grove City. Unfortunately, this was the worst grooming experience we've ever had, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. When my fiancé arrived for drop‑off, a worker came through the door without control of a dog, and that dog ran straight at Teddy and trampled him. This already left us with a bad feeling, but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. We explained that we like Teddy groomed with a puppy face, fluffy paws, and a tighter body -- nothing unusual, and something we get done every four weeks. The groomer even showed a book with different hair lengths, and my fiancé selected the length that matched Teddy's usual cut. When we arrived for pickup we paid upfront and even left a tip, and they applied the 20% first‑groom discount before we saw the final result. When Teddy came out, we were shocked. He was shaved far too short -- so short that I can feel his skin when I pet him. His coat is completely uneven, with different lengths all over his body and face. It's a totally botched haircut. The employee handing Teddy back to us clearly noticed our hesitation but rushed us off with, "Have a great day," leaving us no space to say anything. We asked to speak to a manager. Instead of the groomer addressing the issue directly or apologizing, the manager came back to tell us that the book of lengths is "deceiving" and that we "should have picked the next length up." If the book is misleading, it shouldn't be used. And if the book is misleading, how is that our fault? Yet it was implied that we chose incorrectly. We had already tipped and fully paid for the service, and the manager refused to offer a refund. The best she could say was, "We can't put the hair back." She said next time we should ask for the GM for a discount -- but there definitely will not be a next time. I later called to request at least the tip back, since the groomer never came out to explain or apologize, and no one answered so I did leave a voicemail and they got back to me an hour later to refund the tip. Still only a fraction of the price of a groom. To top everything off, while we were waiting, we were watching the daycare area: three larger dogs were ganging up on a smaller dog that was yelping, and the worker supervising was facing the opposite direction, mopping the floor, didn't turn around to look. I had previously considered daycare here but this completely changed my mind. Overall, between the safety issues, lack of professionalism, poor communication, refusal to take responsibility, and the terrible haircut Teddy received, I would never recommend PetSuites in Grove City. Learn from me and save yourself the frustration and tears, it will grow back and it was a lessoned learned.

Ellie has been with The City Dog since 2018 and we're glad the space still feels familiar for her. There are some different faces around but we have experienced that over the years and love that Ellie still feels at home. We boarded her for 6 days and 5 nights in June (for Vaca) and were really happy with the care she received. Prices on boarding have gone up a lot for a dog suite, but they honored our previously booked rate which we appreciated. We also did a recent daycare visit on July 3 and still have several days left in our old package that we can use this year before making any real changes. The only downside is the change from member packages to a new (for us) monthly subscription model. It's not really that appealing or attractive to us. The subscription based model takes away the flexibility we enjoyed as longtime customer. So we never felt like we were losing money for services we didn't use. Overall, space is great, now larger, with the building combined and noting we are a couple months in on the merger. We will see how things go over the next few months, but for now we feel good about the transition and would recommend Park Your Paws Columbus-Downtown, especially for boarding and daycare. First of all, we love the location. Since I live and work downtown, it's really nice to take him to a place that's only a four minute drive! They have a spacious parking lot and it's super easy to get him in and out. The facility is awesome! They have a little store just inside the entrance and behind that is their boarding area which is in front of the daycare parks and next to the grooming station. You cannot beat the prices and service here. I was going on a last minute out of town trip and needed boarding services and they allowed me to bring Dozer in before they opened. They were so gracious to work with me. I loved watching him on the cameras. He had a blast playing with new friends and running around. Their outdoor area is awesome! It's turf so Dozer's grass allergies weren't agitated. I learned that they clean it regularly and that it has a draining system. Very cool! I was so comfortable leaving my little man there and I know he had a great time! Their grooming is awesome too! Their prices are so good and they really took care of my nervous guy. He left looking and smelling fresh! I can't recommend this place enough! And they're open 365 days a year! If you're looking for daycare, boarding or grooming services, this place is the best - hands down!
