We had such a great experience here as my dog really needed a shave for this heat! From when we walked into the store we were greeted and more importantly my dog felt the love and they gave him all the attention. As an older dog I am always hesitate on taking him in for a shave and wash because of his bad hips. I've had past experiences when I felt my dog was hurting after his experience at other establishments, this however, was a great experience for him as he really didn't want to go and kept following the owner around as they were old pals. I am extremely happy with the service and I'm even more happy that my "old man" is not limping or showing any discomfort after the experience. He even came home running around! She only takes appointments so you know your fur baby is getting in and out on time. Dropped Kodi off at 11 and picked her up at 1. Probably, one of the worst experiences my dog has ever been through! Missed cutting parts of her hair, but most certainly didn't when it came to nicking my dog multiple times with the clippers! My poor dog was shaking so bad when I picked her up. Not sure what kind of shampoo they use, but my dog smelled moldy. Like that smell you get from damp towels which are thrown in the hamper still wet. Then, later that evening, I noticed something on my dogs ear. Behind her ear to be exact. It was crazy glue! As I looked further, my dog had a gash that was caused by what I suspect to be from the clippers, and she used crazy glue to hide it! Unbelievable, and I am in total shock! What is weird is, she asked me why I didn't tip her. The place is small, kind of dirty, compared to other groomers I have been to. This happened several month ago. My friends recommended I post something on Yelp to inform others. I am not too familiar with the entire social media thing. Hopefully she got better at what she does, but I would at this time, strongly suggest you steer clear of this place. read more

We've been taking our mini-schnauzer, Sweetie Pie, to Sharon even before she opened her own shop. Two years ago we moved over to San Clemente. We've tried a few places here, but none compare to Dogtown, and they also are a lot more expensive. Not only does she do an excellent job, but she is kind and truly cares for the pets. Took our pomeranian and poodle in for grooming. Very friendly and you can tell they care about the animals. The poodle was matted and the last place we went cut her several times so she was fearful. A little pricey. I was a walk in though. She does by appointment only. Place wasn't very presentable or very clean though, but again, it is a dog grooming business. Other places though are more comparable and better priced. All in all, she did ok. She did miss a few spots during the clipping, and I am not sure what kind of shampoo she uses, but it didn't smell very good.
