She had moved and she had a story about her alarm not going off. I never got the grooming that day. I gave her another chance. Today I arrived at 7:07, due to getting stuck waiting to get out of my driveway by the garbage truck. Another groomer told me, as I entered that Roxanne had already left and said she was not waiting for me, since I was late. The good news is another amazing business All About Paws got us right in and gave our schnauzer the best cut she has ever had!! Sometimes things work out! I am just disappointed Roxanne couldn't call me herself and be professional! I don't think it was fair to the other groomer, who is an independent contractor, to have to tell me my groomer I waited 2 weeks to see was unable to be an adult and talk to me herself. Kind of like when I called and called her in the parking lot, while she slept. Lucky for me I have a better, more professional groomer that knows how to cut a schnauzer and communicate. They have already said- they can get me in 2-3 days from requesting an appointment. This is the difference from a true business and a group of independent contractors that want no responsibility to their actions. BEWARE!!!!!

After waiting a few minutes, a man came out and asked if he could help me. I explained that I had an appointment, and he questioned whether I was at the right place. After confirming the address, he told me they were fully booked for the day and had no record of my appointment. He offered no apology, no empathy--just told me to come back another day. I had driven over 30 minutes to get there, and the entire experience was disappointing. The business appeared disorganized and unprofessional. Dropping her off at the previous groomers, she'd have those sad puppy-dog eyes and a somewhat panicked behavior as I was leaving her. Not like leaving a child at kindergarten, but more like she knew she was gonna get hurt. When I'd pick her up she acted like she was making a jailbreak. She probably would have drug me out of the place if she could. That is not a joke - she would have. Last time after being home awhile, I discovered dried blood in the fur of her ears. She'd been more and more fearful with every grooming drop-off and suddenly I had evidence of why. That was what prompted me to look for another spot and the good reviews convinced me to give Groomingtails a try and we are very pleased with their treatment of our pup and their work. Here's something amazing I have to add: I don't know why but ever since her grooming, when it is rainy and I bring the pup in and I give her a quick dry with a bath towel SHE SMELLS FRESH WITH THE SCENT SHE HAD FROM LAST GROOMING! I am floored. She is about to have her next grooming and that still works weeks after her last grooming. THAT, is lasting results! And her teeth were pure-white when they were done! Now she wants to drink her coffee through a straw,... oh, wait, that's my wife that does that!
