The owners live on site and are actively involved with the operations. We've been attending doggy daycare for 1.5 years with Guardian Kennels and have worked with the same staff the entire time. Guardian Kennels not only treats our dog well, but it appears they treat their staff well too. To retain quality staff is quite an accomplishment as working with animals (and their humans) isn't an easy job. There is so much more to caring for animals than just the fun parts of playing with them. Staff are continuously cleaning while caring for the animals and managing pick ups and drop offs. Dogs get quality time outside and are grouped by size and energy level to ensure safety and allow all dogs big or small to have a good time. When they are inside they have individual kennels. All of the nurses are lovely and when I recently had to put my old dog down, they all wrote me a letter that I am still carrying with me in my car.
